The food was incredible, and we walked in 30 minutes before closing and the staff happily served us. We stayed later than the posted hours and they still served us and let us choose the music. All in all, this is a great place with great people.

We entered the restaurant an hour before they opened and when I asked the manager where else We could eat since I was starting a drive to California and could not wait an hour. He offered to make us what we wanted to go. For my first time eating there I was impressed by the hospitality and the food was delicious too. My Italian friends had never tasted Indian food before and loved the flavor of the tikka masala.

This is a cool little place. The service is first class, the manager I think he is flys around like he needs to be everywhere. You go without nothing. The server helped me order… he did a fine job too the food was great. I’m new to Indian food so I have no clue what I had. It was really good however !! The atmosphere is really nice has a Indian feel will gladly come back.

I ordered my dinner online for pickup and for some reason I could not go before they closed. I made a phone call and told them I will be late by an hour after they close. They were kind enough to wait for me.

Good Indian food. Portions are also very decent. I had the tikka masala as that’s my favorite Indian dish and it was made perfectly. The naan bread was a little crunchier than I would have liked but overall service and food was good. It’s not a fancy place. It’s more of a casual takeout or sit down place.

Fantastic!!! We travel the world and have enjoyed many authentic Indian restaurants. This is one the best! The chicken tikkamasala and the Gobi aloo is amazing. The service is excellent too.

The service was excellent the food was very good and the atmosphere was very enjoyable. This is a very understated restaurant in the Starbucks parking lot. A place I will definitely go back to.

So sad the lunch buffet was not an option today… ever? The variety and the atmosphere are a big draw.

I am so glad that my boyfriend finally came with me to try Copper Bowl. I’ve been here without him before, and the tikka masala was divine-very soft chicken and the masala sauce was full of flavor. When we came together, he got lamb briyani milf and I got chicken briyani medium spice. Both were wonderful. Most Indian and Pakistani places make the meat harder than what we like, but not here! The chicken and lamb were very soft and the serving was large enough that we both got and extra meal from our orders. If my review was based solely on food, it’d be 5 stars, but the service was very slow and not great. I drink a lot of water, so when a place takes a while to fill my water glass, I understand when it’s busy, but not if there are only two parties of two, and you’ve walked by my table a half dozen times without filling my glass. The manager is very warm and welcoming, and we look forward to trying the buffet soon!

Was cold the food was like it was from a lunch buffet. Furthermore the employees were not friendly. Have no idea how they have such a high review. Maybe they saw this reviewer coming… Who knows but very average food

I’ve only eaten the buffet, some items feel like they’ve been sitting out a little long under the heat. I like the décor, I like the staff… it’s pretty chill and trendy I do like the cool setup for the copper bowls… some of the dishes are good but most aren’t nothing to rave about . but is decent… just like the rest of them in Salt Lake City it doesn’t really grab me.

The atmosphere, food, and service are great. This is top notch creamy yummy Indian food. The location almost deterred me from going, but it turned out to be easy to get to and there is parking on site.

Checked out this place based on reviews. Buffet lunch was good. Goat curry was good. Chicken tikka tasted like butter chicken but was still good. Tandoori chicken was dry but their malai chicken was amazing. Went for multiple refills. Overall I would recommend this place.

Just visited this place for dinner tonight and wasn’t impressed. It is a very clean and well maintained place, but the food was not as tasty as other Indian restaurants in Utah. This place to me, was a bit more in the making money than making good food. We had a masala dosa, and though it wasn’t terrible, the bread was very greasy. We also tried the ice cream, but maybe for our personal tastebuds, we weren’t interested in eating more than one bite.

We decided to give this place a try, again, and came away with a nice experience. Firstly, they did not charge the 18% gratuity for two people, which they did the last time we were there. Some of the items on the buffet menu, like palak paneer(paneer in spinach gravy), goat curry, fish pakora and bean poriyal were really good. They had all the appetizers on the same section as the main dishes, and covered, which ensured the food did not go cold.

Just came back to Utah from SoCal and wasn’t expecting this treat of a restaurant! I was spoiled in SoCal with all their Indian options but Copper Bowl proves that even smaller cities have been infiltrated by good Indian chefs. We ordered dosa, butter chicken, naan, daal, alu gobi, and jhurmuri. Jhurmuri is a snack that is eaten in northern India. They had a twist with avocado in it. And it was yummy! Dosa was good, as expected from an Andhra based crew. Butter chicken was one of the best I’ve had in the USA. The only other one that was close to this was Annapoorna in Irvine CA. Daal was also excellent. Alu gobi was satisfactory. If I had a bit of a complaint, it was their naan. Not a typical North Indian style naan. It was ok nonetheless. Overall, it was a great experience and the ambiance wasn’t bad either. I will be definitely back. Especially to try out their lunch buffet. This is definitely my choice now in downtown over star of India and Himalayan Kitchen(both have been around for a while now). Yum!

One of my favorite Indian places that’s reasonable yet really good! I love their lunch buffet as you can load up on as much garlic naan, tikka masala, veggies and dessert as you like. Plus, there’s options for non-spicey lovers to have mild-level food. Good for my stomach post gorging. Décor is nice and seems like they did their best to upgrade to a modern, Indian look. The service has been good to decent. Nothing bad that I can remember but nothing outstanding. I’ll keep coming back as long as there’s no reason not to.

My experience at Copper Bowl is definitely positive! The restaurant is clean and spacious. The server was very nice and kindly explained the differences of their menu items when I asked, and constantly checked on us. I had chicken korma and it was delicious. I like coconut curry so it was perfect. My friends had palak and vindaloo and they were both tasty as well. I ordered medium but my friends went for spicy and extra spicy: o Needless to say, the one who ordered extra spicy was sweating the whole time.

Came here with a large group. The service was very nice and attentive. I ordered the okra and some garlic naan. I asked for hot on the spices since most times I find medium is too mild for me. When I got it it was completely mild. Someone else in the group had asked for mild, but their food was way too spicy for them. Not sure if they mixed up who asked for spicy. I didn’t bother to mention that my food was mild, the flavour was still good. I did taste the«spicy» dish’s sauce and still felt it tasted a bit mild, but had some kind of kick. If my dish had been spicy I might have given them four stars, but the food was just a-okay. Not the best I’ve had.
