Liberty Lodge

Okay there is nothing really too wrong with this hotel/​motel if you need a cheap place to stay. The good: relatively low price, room clean, refrigerator present, no bed bugs, friendly staff. The not-​so-​good: all doors open to the outside, terrible beds, price is the lowest in town BUT you’ll never get that price. Even on expedia they add ‘local taxes’ in addition to normal taxes. Confused? Me too, I ended up paying 60 dollars for a room advertised at 35.

A good place to stay for a couple of days. Came for my husbands graduation. The staff was nice and you can do your laundry for free! They have detergent & other goodies for purchase in their little store by the front. Base is only a 6 – 10 minute drive. And the plus side is there’s a Buffalo Wild Wings and Panera next door! How awesome is that?

Awesome hotel. The staff was amazing, room was very clean and the bathroom was sparking. Bonus points for having soft towels and free laundry !

For the same price you can go to the Motel 6 across the street. Let’s be honest, in a military town you’re going to be surrounded by motels and hotels. I visited my husband for a weekend and was not familiar with the area at all so came here and not at all pleased. The fridge didn’t work, and the facet in the tub was SO touchy that it took 10 minutes to get the water to a stand able temperature to take a shower. Touch it and you’re either burning to death or freezing. In the morning house keeping came by, I said I would just like towels and that’s it. I feel like they came by EVERY 15 minutes banging on the door and trying to come in!
The only thing i really found convenient was that there were some restaurants within walking distance. But that’s it.

I want to Liberty Lodge and stayed for almost a week and when I say this is the nicest stafff that you could possibly encounter I say that without much bias, it was really bad weather that week that I chose to stay with them and it was so cold that my door lock kept freezing, the Maintenance man was so polite and patient, coming back to my room numerous times to make sure I was able to get it to my room. They were so accommodating, anytime I call for anything they made sure I was taken care of and the rooms were clean, the only thing that might need updating is the bathtubs, a little outdated but they were very clean. Its right next to the freeway so it is very convenient and even though I was that close I really didn’t hear a lot of traffic at all, this is a very good place to stay especially on a budget with a great great staff. And there are a lot of places to eat in this area that are in a very short distance. I would highly recommend this place!
