Small diner style setting. Good prices, lots of food! Had the Cuban breakfast and it was amazing! Everything was perfectly seasoned. Looking forward to trying their Cuban sandwich next time

You had me at, «Yes, we have Mimosas!» Took my family there this Sunday for our first time. The staff was extremely friendly from the second we walked in the door. It is a small place, but we found a table that was being cleaned off. I saw someone with a mimosa, so I was already excited. My husband and I ordered the Cuban breakfast and were blown away, it was amazing! The Mojo pork, eggs, black beans, rice and a few tortillas… perfect(and to think, my husband originally wanted pancakes). My son had his normal eggs, toast and bacon, which made him a happy camper. They even brought out a cup of diced banana for the baby and watermelon to finish things off. Will definitely be going back to try other things, plus to have that Cuban breakfast again.

Nothing particularly special about this place. Parking is difficult. The menu selection is OK. I have been here twice and I really have no desire to go back. I ordered the meatloaf which the waitress said was fantastic. It was not. Prices are OK and portions are not anything to write home about.

Wonderful local diner. The quality of service and food is exceptional. The selection is great for breakfast lunch, and dinner. Most standard diner fare is there as well as nods to local culture(Cuban inspired breakfast sandwich) and Greek diner dishes. It might not be the most opulent place, and it isn’t a kitschy 1950s-era diner… its just a good place for good food and above-grade service.

Cuban breakfast sandwich was good but could have been hotter, and the food took awhile. But the waiter was nice, and so was the environment, the only reason we might not come back soon is because it’s not conveniently located near st. pete which is where we were going but If you are in the area you should check it out.

They made a Cuban Delite much like ‘Huevos Ranchero’ that was top shelf. Corn tortillas, mojo pork, rice and black beans, and eggs anyway you like them. Greek American family owned and operated so you they take pride and love what they do. The staff and owner were extremely cordial. This was the first time I was in here. Must go back with friends!

Pulling up to the burg you might think it’s a weird spot for a diner– it’s a small strip mall with a barber and a real estate agent but it’s worth the visit. The owner Bill is there just about every day– he takes his time to greet and thank every table. His mom is usually there to greet and fill your coffee. They all, including the servers, try to always remember you and your favorites. My personal favorite is the hungry Greek. My family and I typically all order the combo. For around $ 10 you get 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 meat of your choice, potato or grits and toast. The pancakes are easily the best in St Pete! They have a sweetness to them, maybe vanilla, that just kicks them up a notch. Always check the chalkboards for their specials, they usually will have a fun pancake like strawberry cheesecake or peanut butter cup, as well as a skillet or breakfast burrito option. If you go for lunch– get the burger. Perfectly seasoned with fresh cut fries.

Cozy place, good food and fast service. I miss Maria’s restaurant(various places in NE St Pete for years) and it’s nice to be able to get her breakfast cooking again. Try the Kayana– eggs/stewed tomatoes/feta. Makes a nice tangy mix. And these guys know how to make a nice crunchy corn beef hash too.

The Specials!!! We usually stop in for the weekend breakfast specials, very unique and original breakfast items. My absolute favorites are Mama’s greek salad and dinner specials. Homemade, delicious, and large portions! Great prices for the quality and portion sizes, plus I enjoy when Mama comes around to welcome us back!

Stopped in last night for dinner. Our server was excellent. Children’s chicken nuggets appeared to be the frozen variety which always dissapoints me(I know it’s a kids meal but I like them to get fresh food) but is not really a strike against them as that is par for the course. Single grilled cheese burger was delicious! Meat was well seasoned and a perfect medium as requested. My other half tried to do the double grilled cheese but couldn’t make it through, it’s just so much food! Minus two stars because one of the cooks/chefs was standing in front of the open kitchen window either eating or preparing his own food, which he was taking bites off of while cooking and licked his fingers at the end. I would normally subtract a lot more for this health code violation but he appeared to leave the kitchen to wash up after this somewhat squicky incident.

Wow! This was great. Hit this place up after the gym on a Saturday morning. Not super busy and didn’t look like much. The staff was super friendly and outgoing to make sure I had everything needed. Sat at the counter and ordered a mimosa to which the waitress was more than happy to pop the champagne bottle. They were quick to anticipate any customers needs. I settled with my traditional breakfast. Scrambled eggs were perfect and melt in your mouth. My take on w good breakfast place is how well a pancake is done and they nail it. It’s fluffy and light and has that great pancake flavor. This is a for sure place to comeback to when in the area.

Was skeptical of this place when it first opened and I didn’t really know what to expect. However, when I visited I was very surprised and satisfied! The food is GREAT. Very good prices, fast service, and amazing customer service. You’ll have a great time here. Very homey and friendly. Warmed my heart!

Holy Moly! Huge amount of food. I ordered the Cuban special with fries 6 $ definitely worth every dime. I was staving and this was a great little whole in the wall. Décor was a little outdated. The waitress was so pleasant and friendly we chatted the whole time I was waiting for my order — I must say it was fast … a definite stop over place that I will go to again.

Decent food, GREAT service! To be honest I would rate the breakfast food a 3, but I am tacking on another star for the service and the huge selection of choices. I do recommend the breakfast potatoes over the hash browns, the sausage links are excellent, and the eggs were cooked to perfection. The coffee is excellent for a diner. I also very much appreciate that every meal came with a small serving of fruit to balance out the breakfast. Plus my friend has a terrible gluten allergy, so it’s great that they have options on the menu for her. However, I recommend avoiding the pancakes(they are very bland and a little dry) and the biscuits and gravy(tastes like they use plain hamburger instead of sausage in the gravy, very bland). Overall, I recommend this diner. Great value for the money, and the food is pretty good for the most part. I will be back.

Now this is a hometown diner. We went for breakfast and we will be back another time soon for lunch. A duster restaurant to burg bar & grill, this gem had a ton of breakfast and lunch options with some added Greek flare and a touch of Cuban dishes. To this native Floridian it’s the fun options you’d expect to see at a local diner. I got the mama mias eggs Benedict which included spinach and mushrooms. I selected crispy hash browns as my side and it also came with a banana and strawberry. It was so good I wish there was less hollandaise since it was so good it didn’t need that much. The guys got the Hungry Greek and an omelet and we were all happy. Choices between potatoes, hash browns and grits ensured there were options for everyone. A banana and strawberry for everyone too. Portions were large, prices good and the choices abundant. We had Aly as our waitress and she was great! Friendly and awesome some recommendations. Check this place out for sure!

We stopped here for breakfast and were a bit surprised at how lacking it was. We love the original Burg and expected a lot more from the Burg Diner. It wasn’t necessarily bad and, in fact, the home fries were crispy and well-cooked, but nothing was seasoned and the eggs were way overcooked. Ben F ordered«thick cut» bacon, one of the options on the menu, and received two slices of grizzly-looking, grey, under cooked«bacon». He sent it back to be cooked a bit more but it still just wasn’t good. The décor was very unfinished looking. There were framed pictures/posters leaning against the wall, kitschy items oddly organized on other walls, almost like it was just thrown up in a hurry. Overall, it wasn’t all bad but not enough to draw me back.

Visited this place during the soft opening… While the interior is really nice & fresh, homey, and well designed — the food was just«ok». I got my standard«baseline» diner dish to see how they delivered(Pancakes and Bacon) The pancakes seemed straight out of a mix… very heavy, bland, dense things. Nothing there that said«this is our take on a pancake». The syrup was also«just ok», and tasted like standard Sysco issue, served cold. No butter was served with the pancakes, another odd choice. Those cakes need all the lubrication they can get. The bacon was iffy as well… not awful — but c’mon. You can only do so much with standard-cut(very thin) foodservice bacon. Serving a decent, memorable bacon will draw customers like flies. I return over and over to places like Trip’s that serve their own custom cut bacon. I tried a sampler of the sausage gravy — it was decent! Service was excellent and friendly — I’ll try again after they have been around for a bit to see if things have improved…
