The rating you give this place really depends on the state of mind you’re in when you visit. Since this is a 24hr café, they get a bit of drunkies in the early am. I visited here after going to The Canopy(Birchwood rooftop lounge) for my cousin’s 21st birthday. I ordered a steak that night and it didn’t disappoint… especially for the price. About a year later I visited again, not as hungry, and ordered breakfast food. It was okay. I’m grateful that they were open though because there is not a lot of options in that area after a certain time.

A good place A faded sign outside and a dated feel inside portends to the decades Kristina’s has been in business. Another clue was the prices, very reasonable like they haven’t printed new menus for years. I liked that part. When I walked in I was handed a menu and pointed to a table. I felt welcomed like someone who comes in often, although it was my first time. I also noticed friendly interactions between the servers and customers. As for the food, I had their Corned Beef Hash Omelette. It was ok, a good sized omelette but not much corned beef hash inside. Nothing special with the side of home fries either. Still the price was good, the coffee refilled a few times, and I was in a good place.

I have enjoyed this place for YEARS! I love the staff and owners. The food is great. The portions are generous! Christina’s Café is OPEN24⁄7 and they are FAST!!! If you come often enough, you are bound to run into something on the menu that doesn’t work out… If this happens, tell your server! The Chef will make it right. This is a family business and they care GREATLY about your satisfaction! ALSO, this is the least expensive place in town to grab a quick bite! Suggestions: BREAKFAST(24⁄7)!!! It’s ALL Good! Omelettes, OMGosh!!! Deeelish! Hamburger, Club Sandwiches… Fried Cheese w/THE BEST spaghetti sauce in the ‘Burg!(No joke!) Fresh Chicken Noodle Soup EVERYDAY!(skip the crackers) The ONLY thing I dislike at Christina’s is their gravy. (What can I say, I’m a Southern Girl and I have HIGHGRAVYSTANDARDS!) Christina’s Café is THEDEAL!!!

This is a hidden gem open 24 hours and they serve breakfast 24 hours too. I love their Beef tips over noodles. I don’t know what they put in their country fried chicken, but it is really really good. They sometimes run out of their daily specials early. If there was any complaint is their salads need a better selection of greens. The dinner salad is usually just a bowl of iceberg lettuce with a tomato wedge and some onion. So go with the home made soup when you can. Make sure you come hungry because the portions are huge and cheap!!!

First and foremost I must say, I have NEVER been disappointed eating at Kristina’s Café! The first time I went I had the Philly Cheese Steak, it was awesome! I went at an off time, maybe around 3pm, service was good, friendly and quick. I was surprised at how good the food was. The second time I went was peak lunch time it was very busy, I ordered the open faced Turkey Sandwich, and so began my love affair with Kristina’s Café! This open faced turkey sandwich was the best thing I have tasted since the 1960’s. Beautiful, tender white meat turkey breast, with the most delectable gravy an absolute party in your mouth! You must try this, I crave it at least once a week! Bottom line, it’s a friendly place with good food, and very efficient service, I highly recommend this place!

Super fast service. Cheap. Chocolate chip pancakes were good. Patty melt was average. It’s not somewhere I’d recommend but if you’re looking for a quick meal at your typical American diner then this is it!

I’ve been coming here for years with friends and family. The food is usually excellent, other times just good. Never had bad food. It’s very affordable, both breakfast and dinner, and you get a good amount of food. The service is either amazing or horrible. There is one woman there who I assume is the owner, whenever she is there, I know it’s going to be pleasant. Other times, when I go late at night, I get this server with glasses who always has a snippy attitude and gets my order wrong half the time. I went to the counter to make sure she got my order right, since I had ordered pasta and she asked if I wanted French fries with it, and she held a hand in my face and said«I know what you ordered.» Very unprofessional. It can be crowded at breakfast, but that’s usually a good thing. The food is definitely better than Kissin’ Cuzzins and the service is way better. 4.5÷5

Kristina’s Café is one of the VERY few places that is still truly a 24 hour locally owned and operated eatery. Even the large chains that were known for being 24 hours don’t open until 5:30AM now. The specialty here is breakfast, made fast to order and served piping hot. Nothing super flavorful or inventive, just basic home cooked breakfast with all of the ingredients that you would get at the local grocery store. My tummy did not even hurt after eating a greasy breakfast! The food is cheap! Kristina’s has large breakfast platters for around $ 5 and change. Fast service, clean dining area, no frills, pay at the counter. Our server was super nice and patient, treated me like a daughter, but maybe we were lucky. Sausage links were good quality, and loved the potatoes. They are a mix of crispy and mashed potatoes, interesting but good. Everything needed salt, but it is better to add your own than receive something salty, right? Biscuits and Gravy were good, but I would not recommend the biscuits on their own. Bar stool seating at the counter, if you are dining alone or want that old time feels. Would I return? Maybe, if nothing else is open and I want breakfast, like this time.

If you are more interested in portion sizes and getting the most food for your money, then this is your joint. If you want food that tastes good and has flavor, don’t bother coming here. I ordered the Philly steak and cheese omelette and the meat was literally the same flavor and consistency as the eggs. I had to add salt, pepper and tobacco sauce to eat it. The hash browns also didn’t have good potato flavor, it tasted almost watered down. The biscuit was doughy and heavy. I regret eating the calories. The wait staff was unfriendly too, seemed like they were too good to serve me breakfast, or take my money. Even when it came time to pay, they helped the customer ahead of me, and then just walked off when it was my turn. There was no «hold on, I’ll be right back». I just stood there for ages looking at everyone’s back. When someone finally took my payment, she asked me if I needed a receipt, I said no, and then she just walked away as I was writing in the tip. I wasn’t sure if the transaction was done. Most ppl say, «thanks for coming, or have a nice day». After standing there for a few more seconds and realizing she was done with me, I left. I don’t want to say they were racist, but, I was definitely the only non-white patron there, and everyone else was getting chatted up. Anyway, I won’t be returning. Even if it only cost me $ 11.

Kristina’s is honestly a hit or miss, depending on what time you visit and who you have as a waiter/waitress. I’ve have far more hits then misses, however, and Kristina’s café has been my go-to late night spot for many years. The owner is very pleasant, and the food is on point. Lets take a quick second to talk about their bacon. Its some of the best dang bacon I have had in a breakfast joint. Its nice and greasy, and always crispy. I often find myself comparing other places bacon TO Kristina’s bacon, and always noting that K’s bacon is better. I’m serious about my bacon. Their food is huge portions for cheap. Not a fancy place, but worth a visit.

On a Friday morning, Kristina’s diner is humming with seniors and 50-somethings talking over each other. Guests more or less seat themselves at the counter or one of the various booths or tables. The floors and tables are neither clean nor dirty. The breakfast menu offers standard diner fare: eggs with bread, home fries or grits, and the option of some kind of meat; bagels and bagel sandwiches; omelettes; pancakes; waffles; and sides. Most breakfast fare is between $ 5 – 10. There are two(ish) additional pages of main dishes and desserts. I’m a lover of biscuits and gravy so I order that against my better judgement. Usually I hoard Friday calories for beer, but it’s there and I’m hungry. Two biscuits cut in half are drowned in gravy with tiny squares of sausage. The biscuits are dense, not fluffy. The gravy is mild in flavor. The grits are gelatinous blobs that feel like mush and taste like nothing. This is a standard diner. There is nothing exceptional about it, but nothing awful either. My only complaint is that the coffee creamer was expired. I didn’t realize it until it was too late… For that they lose a star.

Pros: Open 24 hrs, virtually everything you can think of is on this menu. Con: both my dad and I got food poisoning, we ordered different food. I haven’t been back to try it a second time.

I am always in the mood for breakfast and Kristina’s did not disappoint. This place was packed on the Saturday night we came. We were seated quickly though and food did not take too long to come out. Service was ok. I had the biscuits and gravy w/grits and eggs. I love biscuits and gravy– being raised in the South for so long and all I think lol. Yum! I liked it here, not the best I’ve had, but the portion was huge and the sausage gravy was good. Two large biscuits cut in half with gravy poured over them. I could not finish the entire serving, could easily have fed two people. Grits were creamy and just how I like them. My son had the country fried steak and eggs which he gave two thumbs up. Pancakes are HUGE. I was too full to try one, but they looked good. Definitely coming back. Prices here are incredible for the portion sizes and quality of food.

Delicious + affordable + big servings + open 24⁄7 = Satisfaction and instant gratification. I love Kristinas! My friends and family have been eating here for a long time. The food is more or less the same so it meets expectations 4⁄5 time. One of my favorite dishes is the country breakfast ham steak with two eggs, home fries, and buttered toast. The portion is great and pricing is A+ for the amount of food they provide. I love that it is open 24⁄7 because I have plenty of late night cravings. The french fries here are fresh, hot, and crisp and if you love extra carbs, get the grilled biscuits. It’ll make your heart stop for a second but it’ll be worth it. Aside from the goodies, it can get really packed depending on the time and day. This means service may get slow and parking may be limited. I usually go at night so I don’t have this problem. Verdict: I highly recommend this place if you 1) want good, cheap, and fast food, 2) are drunk and hungry. Enjoy friends.

Talk about a great bang for your buck! We started with a Chili Cheese Fry. Not a typical breakfast dish… But I’m not your typical girl! I got the Greek Omelet here, but everything ordered at my table was devoured and enjoyed by all. This is a small, no frills restaurant, but the service and food were great. I was surprised by how much delicious food we got for our money here! I am definitely coming back here next time I am in town!
