KeysCake is one of those super cool indie businesses that results from people chasing their dreams. The ladies behind it just opened the place after major investments to set it up. The homemade deli food and cupcakes are VERY good. It’s not cheap, but it’s special. The sandwiches are named after family(aunts and uncles) and some of the cupcakes have a yummy compote filling. Lots of great flavors. Grand opening and longer hours coming in June 2015. For now it’s just Fridays and Saturdays. The store is in a small strip mall by a crab place, barbershop and a closed down market. There are a couple of tables and chairs, but I’[d say biz is mostly takeout. People already seem to be finding them, so that’s cool. One is a teacher at Azalea. :) Live and eat well my friends. Give KeysCake a try and let me know what you think. I was very impressed with the tart and sweet flavorful blueberry lemonade cupcake and the whole and tasty sammich. The meat is especially good and they smoke and prepare the meats in house. :) The pasta salad was good too. Made me smile. :) The efforts, passion and love are documented in their«failed» kickstarter campaign Show them some love and support!!! :)
