Worst service ever! The woman before me had ordered online, which was never prepared! One staff at the register, one behind the counter, one outside on a break, one sitting down inside observing the kid on the register, and the rest in back doing god knows what. The poor fellow making the online order was out of most ingredients, having to constantly run to the back(and only coming out with what he needed for the one sandwich) and no one stepping up to assist him. Of course I was in a hurry! Nearly 12 minutes later, I was helped! That said, taking my business to Zia’s deli, where the service is always prompt and professional!

The worst service ever. I asked for the pepper jack pastrami. A sandwich that was on the menu. The guy said«we have pastrami but I have to charge you extra for the pepper jack.» ??? No it’s a sando that’s on the menu with a set price??? Once we sorted that out he took FOREVER to make the damn thing. Then I needed to be rung up … It took several minutes to find someone to do that simple task. The place wasn’t even busy 3 people including me. This place doesn’t belong in midtown. Not even sure why I wandered in here. Big mistake.

This location cannot follow instructions. I have ordered online twice now because it saves time during lunch, and they have never given me what I asked for. I suggest if going to this location to order there, their online services are whack.

Turkey and avocado sandwich was good! The staff preparing my sandwich was friendly and quick. However, the other workers seem a bit slower. A friend ordered before me which was a simpler sandwich but ended up longer than expected(staff was not the same person as mine). Con– key needed for bathroom. If staff was busy ringing up people by the registers, the bathroom key was more difficult to retrieve. No Bueno for me!

Great location, food, service, etc. The location is convenient for those of us that work close but I suppose if you drive in that parking would be an issue but that is not their fault. The food is good and the sandwich makers are generous with the fillings. Fresh and tasty ingredients. I don’t have a «favorite» since they are all good so I usually get the daily special or the pastrami sandwich. The service is really great here. I usually order online and pick up so I can skip the long lunch line. The people working there are always fast and friendly, they even know me by now since I order at least once a week. Always consistent and a great value, thanks! Oh and they have free wifi if you just ask for the access code. 2016 Update: new management is not so great and prices went up. When you have a coupon or voucher don’t assume they will honor it under new manager. They also have a guide to how much meat goes in each sandwich posted and I consistently see LESSTHANHALF the recommended meat amount added to the sandwich. That is not okay. I uploaded a picture of a pastrami sandwich and you can barely see any pastrami. Sorry Togo’s I am no longer coming back!

I placed an online order for a party tray a week in advance but when I came in to pick it up they said they never got the order. I provided them with a copy of their confirmation email but apparently it was never received. Ironic, right? Anyway, they told me to give them a half hour which was when the party started. I paid, headed back, and had my coworker pick it up so I could start decorating. They didn’t do anything to compensate for the inconvenience. Really? $ 75 for a party tray that wasn’t cut the same size and it was lacking in meat. C’mon Togos. I know you can do better than that.

My Grid dreams came true! The ONLY Togo’s on the Grid! I’ve been waiting years and wasting gas down Folsom Boulevard in search of my beloved #24. Now, I don’t have to leave the Grid. Yes, I will have to deal with shitty parking conditions, but I guess that’s the trade-off. Yes, they also serve Wild Cherry Pepsi on tap! One of the very few places on the Grid that does. Double bonus for me! It’s the same, automated Togo’s taste and pricing you’d expect. They didn’t do anything different or dramatic. Same look and feel you get at any other one you go into. But there is something about this place that has me coming back time after time. Grid dreams do come true, if you wish hard enough…

This location has nice employees but the owner does not staff well. I’m here on Sunday at 1 o’clock with a line of people and only 1 person working. This poor guy is extremely busy. Good sandwiches and good staff but poor business sense on the owners.

Sandwiches here aren’t bad, nothing amazing, but dependable. Lines during lunch can be pretty bad, but in the evening this place seems empty.

Beware of using TOGOs coupons at this location. They make excellent sandwiches but they need jalapeños added to their condiments like the other TOGOs locations. A friend and I go there when we have coupons. There’s one coupon in circulation and expires 9÷30÷2015. It says«$ 2.006″ sandwich with a purchase of another 6″ sandwich.» As a consumer and a basic English reader you’d think it means when you(the consumer) buy one 6″ sandwich the second 6″ is just $ 2.00. WRONG!!! The workers said that the manager(manager not present) told them to ring it up as $ 2.00 off. However it does not read that way. What a way to trick the consumer. I told my friend just cancel the transaction but he bought both anyways. Prior to this visit we did use the same coupon at this very same location(from an earlier circulation) when the sandwich shop first opened without issue or being mislead. We were able to buy a $ 2.006″ sandwich when you buy a 6″ sandwich at regular price. What’s up with that!!!

I’ve been here before and am here today on a Tuesday at 11:50 a.m. Avoid this place during the lunch rush or order ahead of time. I’m writing this review while waiting in line since the line is 10 people deep with only two people slowly making sandwiches. If you want to be late getting back from your lunch break, then this is the line to stand in. The wait at this location aside, I really like the egg salad and cheese sandwich. I would recommend getting it without mayo or mustard since there is already plenty in the egg salad. You get three scoops of egg salad on a large sandwich and it tastes good with Swiss cheese. While the sandwiches are good, they are not worth the wait in line when you have a limited time available for lunch. They really should have 3 or 4 people working during lunch time. I’ll only come back outside of the lunch rush.

So, I am a sucker! There was this guy outside of this place with a plate of mini cut up sandwiches and i tried one. The next thing I knew was standing in line at Togos and ordering a pastrami sandwich. The line was extra long and the tables still had food on them. However, the pastrami was amazing and the sour dough bread was super fresh. They have lots of super fresh veggies and they seem to pile them on when you ask for them. Everything was super yummy and the air just smells good in there. I will be back often because it’s kind of hard to find good pastrami in Sacramento! The only downside is that there was no olives to put on my food. Maybe next time I will just bring my own olives and put them on myself or something.

Finally downtown has their own togos! I had a good experience and Togos sandwiches is always good! If you drive, it’s hard to find parking because it’s busy on 16th street.

Went here for lunch thinking I would spend between 5 and $ 7 for a combo meal. I spent $ 10 for the meal(sandwich, chips and drink). The sandwich was nothin special it was just a basic turkey sandwich, I could probably make it at home for like $ 4. Alas. The sandwich was OK, nothing to write home about, but it did the job. The place is very clean, and the staff is polite. The one gripe I can’t forgive is the little tv above the counter blasts ads about the sandwiches and touts that the place has free wifi. But when I asked for the password the guy at the counter said they don’t have it! What’s up with that? Must be a corporate produced ad. And if this place doesn’t have free wifi, they probably shouldn’t be advertising it from within the store and rename their router to something other than ‘Togos’

This sandwich place did not disappoint… It was delicious!!! Location smelled clean, tables. floors, sandwich ingredient area, fountain during area, and garbage area were ALL clean — A++ for me. Sandwich was fresh and tasty(I got the California club) Super friendly staff, fast service even tho it was their busiest time AND they accepted my coupon… Do I recommend? Absolutely

I love love love Togo’s. They are consistent and their bread is great. It makes Subway look like they make sandwiches on hotdog buns LOL. I’m so glad they are once again on 16th street. It has been too long and I grew tired of driving to Land Park for the closest location. Welcome back.

My sandwich artist did not know how to make a sandwich. She spent 10 mins on two sandwiches. That’s ridiculously. My sandwich was not tasty as my bread was flat and old. I’m sure, I wouldn’t go back there again.

This new Togo’s location opened by my house in Midtown and it took me and boyfriend a while to visit it but it was a good experience. I had the tuna on sour dough. Next time, I will order the tuna on white. Too much bread with sour dough. But still good. I will go back!

Was looking forward for this Togo’s to open up in Sacramento for quite some time. Not sure why there aren’t many more. We have a ton of Subway and I’m a lil tired of them. Was able to get a free coupon for a free Turkey Avocado #24 online somewhere. It’s part of their grand opening or such. The service as fast(helped that it was like 2pm) and the quality was great. I love their bread, so much more bite to it then Subway. The avocado are smashed, unlike Subway it is sliced. Sliced avocados suck because they slide everywhere except stay on the sandwich. The sandwich was good and it was free. Can’t ask for anything more right? Would I come here again? Of course!

So it’s Togo’s. not really anything different than any other Togo’s you’ve been into, food-wise. It must have just opened this morning though, because everyone looked lost. They are all super friendly though, and look happy to be there, if not a bit nervous. I would have thought the management would have brought in a couple of seasoned folks from other previously opened Togo’s to help with the first few opening days, to help get new folks trained, things like that. But they didn’t, and it shows in the wait time and lost looks. Also, there is a really weird, creepy corporate vibe going on. The what I’m guessing is the manager is WAAAAAYYY to happy, walking around going«woohoo, oh yeah, look at that sandwich! YUM!» and odd stuff like that. Or maybe it’s just me. Either way, sandwich was great, and I’ll totally come back in a month when hopefully they have their stuff together a little more. I totally wouldn’t hold any wait times against the employees, that would be managements fault there.
