Credit for there even being a farmer’s market in Natomas. Very small… yes, doesn’t bother me, but it does bother me there are so few organic offerings. Only 2 and a half organic vendors. Out of maybe 10. I wasn’t here 3 years ago when the other reviewers mentioned all the organicness, so maybe there’s been a shift, or confusion by the signs that say certified California grower, which does not mean organic. I just don’t like to consume bug killing and plant killing chemicals. Chavez Farm was there with his sign with the word«organic» covered up. The farmer explained he was experimenting seeing how that affected business/public perception of his produce. Because apparently«organic» produce is «not pretty.» Not my experience. But, ok. His produce was maybe not a dime, but wouldn’t kick it out of my kitchen… got his zucchini cooking in my pot as we speak. Chino Valley was there with eggs. But the dozen white eggs I bought were in a package that didn’t say organic but her signs in the background say«organic, pasture raised, free range.» I didn’t realize the discrepancy in signage and packaging until I got home, so I didn’t have a chance to verify the happiness of the chickens that birthed the eggs I bought. Oh yeah, and the cheese guy there is organic. Yum, On the plus side, the farmers I encountered are very approachable and you can ask them questions about the food. I did find out from one of the farmers, there is another farmer’s market in Natomas Friday nights 4pm — 8pm that will go into October, unlike this one which ends in September. But this is so conveniently located for my life. :/ Please, more organic, more vendors, year round.

Natomas Farmers Market is small, however the selections of fresh produce are excellent! The red onions, corn and zucchini are large yet affordable.

One of the best to to visit on a Saturday morning in the North Notomas area. The market is located in the Target shopping center. It’s not a huge farmers market, but some of the vendors have a big selection of fruits and vegetables. They have a vendor that sells some delicious meats, another cheese. They usually have a flower vendor and he has some great flowers that you can buy for your loved one on the way home.

My second favorite farmer’s market in Sacramento. Although it is definitely smaller than the others, I love that it has a little bit of everything you need. The produce is always great and they sell the most BEAUTIFUL flowers. There is always plenty of parking, my only wish is that it would become all year rather than just a few months. As a whole, it is a great place to get your fresh and local produce, especially if you live in the Natomas area.

The vendors are always super friendly! They are willing to actually have a conversation with you which some farmers are reluctant to do so. If you go early, like right at 8am, you’ll probably get the bigger farms there first. I think around 10am more vendors will show up and it’s kind of rare. Overall I really like this farmers market, even if it’s on the pricier side.

I’m mostly pleased and go when it is open. For me this place is very convenient. I don’t particularly like being on the asphalt however, there are plans to build a place on one of the parks near by that will be for the farmers market. When that happens, I will bump my rating up. The food is great and the farmers are always pleasant. Good times to be had by all, well except the dog. They don’t accept dogs.

I dont know why but I’ve been checking out all the different farmers market in the Sacramento area and I’ll admit, I have a bias. This farmers market is much smaller than the downtown one. I expected it to be huge since it was held on a Saturday morning but it was a little disappointed. Definitely a lot less variety than the downtown one. Of course this one had all your local produce but the amount of vendors are significantly less. I was hoping the Natomas Farmers market would allow me to do all my produce shopping on Sat but I dont think it will work out. If you are not high maintenance like me, this farmers market will suit you well but if you need more variety and options, go to the Sunday farmers market in downtown.

My rating is more like 4.5 Its located in the parking lot of the old Sams Club, but for you noobs to Natomas its near the BofA across from Best Buy. Also from what i know its only held during the warmer months of may-oct. It a smaller farmers market in comparison to other ones. If you’ve been to the bigger one under the freeway its only about a quarter of that size. Even still you can find a lot of nice fresh veggies for cheap. . Ample amounts of parking so you don’t have to be lucky to get one unlike the big ones I loved coming here because its no way near as busy as the others and its close to home. The only thing that knocked that half star off was that I wish there were more vendors there so we could have even more selection.

I love the community feel that radiates through this little market that’s probably about one-tenth the size of the Sunday market under the freeway. What it lacks in size, it definitely makes up for in character. With live music, there’s a festive feeling that encourages a chat with vendors and neighbors while wandering through the stands. Also love that there’s plentiful parking.

I love this place! They have a large selection of organic produce! They also have a lot of unique fruits and veggies that you simply will not find in the grocery store! There are booths with beautiful flowers, live music and samples to taste the yummies before you buy them. Each stand is very friendly and informative. The prices are very competitive for local and mostly organic foods. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Small, yet efficient. There’s a large selection of ORGANIC fruits and veggies. Sometimes there’s even live music. It’s conveniently located in the Target mall by Bank Of America. To avoid massive crowds at the Sunday Farmers Market, come here! :)
