Thai chicken must have!!! I always get Thai chicken plate with broccoli instead of the salad and vege. Service was little slow last 2 times but I come here for the food.

Just don’t do it! Don’t go! Yes it’s convenient and next to the theater before your show but you will regret handing over your dollars to this shoddy place. The food is turned out without a care to quality or consideration to taste. Granted this is a casual, fast food type of Japanese food, it surely ranks among the worst I’ve ever had anywhere! Spicy chicken is floured so thickly and deep fried that it resembles a dried ball of whatever your imagination. Tempura is NOT tempura at all, but rather deep fried in regular flour that my tempura onion looked like a donut! I kid you not. Use real tempura batter for Petes sake! The teriyaki sauce is so runny and odd tasting it doesn’t resemble teriyaki sauce at all. It doesn’t take more money to make good food, owners should take pride in what they make.

For them being next to the movie theater it sure was empty when we went. My bf & I ordered some calamari and chicken to go we live close by(within 5 mins) and the food did not taste right. The calamari was extremely rubbery and mostly frozen. I got sick within 15 minutes of eating it and I only had a few pieces. For the price of their food they need to invest it in better cooks or train the ones they have. They are too busy goofing off with the female workers and don’t take pride in their food at all, you can tell it’s just a source of income and not a passion. They don’t even look at the food before they toss it in the box. Never going back.

Ate here Sunday night. Floor and tables were sticky but the food was delicious! Go with the bowl; the salad that comes with the plate tastes like seaweed chemicals. Thai chicken and rice bowl was bomb!

I went into this restaurant with low expectations because of the poor reviews but came out extremely satisfied. I had the chicken teriyaki plate which was on point… minus the salad. Definitely stick with the bowl. Other than that it was great food, good service and on top of it they had Sunday night football on the big screen!

You got to love this place, the food takes normal time 5 – 10 minutes and it tastes pretty good. The space is small to average maybe 50 people fit in. Its clean and customer service is average. Price from like $ 7.00 dollars and up.

I absolutely love the Rainbow roll(I always add on cream cheese which is an extra 50 cents I believe + cucumber to make it a little bit fuller) as well as the honey chicken and rice bowl. The teriyaki sauce is so sweet and it’s good on anything here. The potstickers are really good too. They come with their own sauce.

Standing in line and cashier also is the buser to go waiter and waiter of tables doing these four thing’s all at once all at my and an ever growing line expense. 1 star for owner being cheap and not hiring more workers. I’m sitting in the middle of 4 tables all with partially eaten trays.

I was so excited to find another«I heart» in Natomas, kind of near my work. Today was the unraveling of all that. I won’t hold against them that the clientele is reminiscent of the DMV, Comcast, or maybe Wal-Mart, or that the space itself is spartan and dry, but today, I ordered a simple chicken bowl and after seeing the guy who ordered immediately before me, leave, having eaten his lunch, I asked where my food was. They had no idea what I ordered, then discovered it had been boxed to go and simply sat, cooling, while I waited patiently not six feet away. When I did eat the now tepid lunch, I found several bones and/or gristle, and ultimately have to scratch sad knock off of the downtown version off my list for lunch as well.

Eh… My hubby and I had an hour to kill before our movie and wanted to grab a bite nearby. It was either this place or subway… kind of regret trying this place. The whole time there were at least 5 dirty tables; the waitress took her time in placing our order and seemed to do the same to the other guests. For $ 50 we had 4 sushi rolls and 2 drinks. Honestly for this price we could have gone to a number of nicer sushi places or restaurants(and had a beer)… The bathrooms — don’t go in!!! Looks like they haven’t cleaned the men’s/ lady’s restroom in at least a year. The equivalent of a 7⁄11 toilet. Sushi was average. My veggie sushi roll was too dry and the Rainbow roll a little too salty… I’d pass.

What can I say, it’s fast food. Good prices, large serving sizes, nice flavor. It is conveniently located next to the theater for a quick bit before a show. I had the teriyaki bowl and have half of it in the fridge for lunch today. Hint: the theater wont allow you to take your leftovers in but they will store it in their refrigerator for you.

I had dinner here last night. The teriyaki chicken plate I had was good. One of my friends complained that his chicken had too much fat on it. The young woman who took our order was very friendly and competent. The reason I will unlikely go back, however, is that the restaurant was not clean. The floor was seriously sticky with visible black shoe impressions left from whatever caused the stickiness. The tables had uncleaned spills, as did the chairs. Even the soy sauce bottle was sticky.

I am sorry to say, but this was not a good experience. I ordered the honey spicy chicken and asked for extra spicy. I got teriyaki chicken and the rice was soggy and I mean soggy. It’s like ot wasn’t done cooking. I have a feeling they gave me someone elses order. Also the green little salad they had in the To go corner smelled like chemicals and tasted like it. The only thing good was the small salad they had in a separate round container. Big fail to this location.

Had stomach issues earlier in the day, and was craving something easy on the stomach mixed with something salty, so I naturally thought of Japanese take out. I stopped here on my drive from Orangevale to Davis… The woman who took my order was very nice, and very patient with all of my questions. For the price, it seems reasonable. The food is a hearty portion, and pretty decent. Definitely not gourmet, but I think if you compared this to Japanese to what Panda Express is to Chinese, this is definitely better as a fast food version Wish this place, or something similar, was located in Davis. Not really driving by this place that often, but wouldn’t mind a return trip for a quick bite when getting a «Japanese-y» craving.

Nothing fancy with this«fast-food» japanese place. Prices are reasonable, and they give you a lot of food in their combo or teryiaki plate. My fiancée ordered the honey chicken plate which was really tasty and I had Box A with teriyaki chicken. The salad and veggies were bland, but I’m trying to be good and ate my veggies anyway. We both really liked the flavor of the honey chicken. The meat was sweeter than the regular teriyaki chicken, but bother were tender and not dry. My Box A also had 2 fried gyoza and a few pieces of california roll, which were just okay and miso soup which was piping hot. The restaurant was pretty clean and plenty of seating but it was dead that night with the exception of one other patron. Not bad, but not great, as I think Teriyaki Time which is closer to my house, executes a little better on the food.

Since it is a new year we decided to try something a little healthier for dinner instead of fast food from In and Out, Del Taco, Rubios or any of the other chains in the area. We eat pretty healthy in general but on movie screening nights we are usually limited by whatever is in the surrounding area. We stopped in around 5:30pm on a Monday night. There was only 1person dining in the restaurant. The menu is pretty simple– your choice of meat in a bowl, plate or bento box. The difference between each option is the addition of veggies and salad with the plate and on top of that gyzo and California rolls with the bento box. I opted for the honey chicken(per quick tip recommendations) plate while my fiancé had the Box A with teriyaki chicken. The salad and veggies were okay but I really liked the flavor of my sweet grilled honey chicken. The meat was tender and sauce tantalizing. I kinda wish I just opted for the bowl since its comprised of the 3 things I liked most– rice, meat and sauce. I thought my fiancé’s teriyaki chicken was good but nothing special, especially compared to all the flavor in mine. The miso soup was good. The girl at the counter was really nice. The restaurant was clean. The food was good, average. My fiancé said prices are about the same at Teriyaki Time which he seemed to like more.
