Decent food, good prices and large portions. Only downside is how long it takes for then to cook the food if you go right when they open.

Save yourself the time and go to Panda Express. You’ll enjoy actual food and not rubber tasty food at Panda Express.

Lots of food and cheap. Too bad its completely inedible. Worst orange chicken ever. Fried rice? It was rice with nothing else, same with the chow mein, it was just noodles nothing else. Won’t be back, ever.

This place has authentic asian food! The service was very quick and I was fully satisfied with their delicious entrees! My favorite were their shrimp dishes! Prices are ok. For cheap food is still my go to place, everything on the menu is $ 4.00.

The food is absolutely great. But one thIng that worries me, is what the cooking conditions are like. Reason being, the dining area is not too clean and the walls are dirty. I think if dining conditions were better, I would go more often.

I was referred here by Google voice. If you value cleanliness and good service, do not come here. As either of those concepts are totally alien at this establishment. I stood in line for what seemed to be going on an eternity. I’m certain the short pudgy lady behind the counter was helping others way before she would take my order. I found this to be unprofessional. I wait mainly because I was faint with hunger and truthfully, I was just too lazy to drive anywhere else. I wanted to get home to spend time with my mate. Finally, after getting the food, I hurriedly paid the short pudgy woman and split. Soon as I got home I washed up and went to examine my food. I ordered egg foo young. The food was edible, but just barely. The white plastic containers witch held my order had egg foo young sauce every where. I was a bit repulsed but decided to try it anyway as I had foolishly spent good money on this unappetizing dish. I did regret it! First few bites, I decided to chuck all of my order into the garbage disposal. Nasty! I have decided to put this experience out of my mind. However, not before posting my honest review of this place! There are much better places to eat than to come here to waste your money

I used to eat here frequently when it was located in Florin Mall. The few times i ate here after the mall closed was… mediocre. However, tonight I took my daugher here for dinner and it was FLITHY… DISGUSTING…UNBEARABLE…STALEL… shall I continue? The chicken in the chicken and broccoli was GRAYISH. The teriyaki chicken was HARDASCARDBOARD. The sauce was super salty. I took my plate to the counter to exchange for the mixed vegetable entre. 4 minutes later we received veggies soaked in sauce mixed with good olé HAIR!!! Correct my 6 year old daughter ate veggies seasoned with split ends. If i had 1000 thumbs they’d be facing down. Thanks China Express, because of you Im switching to indian.

I use to work at a Chinese restaurant in San Jose and it’s one of the best. I just moved to Sacramento finally since my BF lives out here. He took me here many times. He knows the owner. Such a great lady! This is my go to Chinese place. They give you such a big portion and it’s well worth it for the price! You could feed 10 people if u wanted too. I remember in high school, I order Chinese food for my lunch from my restaurant and it was a lot of food. Fed 6 people. But here, they give u lots! It’s so much that the box is hard to close. Everyone should come here if you want lots of food for a cheap cost! Just don’t forget to tip the sweet sweet lady!

I thought I’ll never be able to eat florin mall Chinese food again. Years and years eating other Chinese food, I was informed that this is the place that was in florin mall. And I decided to go buy some lunch there today. Love the portion and great tastes! I had their chao mei with 2 entrée and immediately devoured the whole thing. The chicken I ate had the perfect spice to it. Will be coming back again!

Horrible food! Horrible experience and I will NEVER return. The food was over cooked, Kung pao and teriyaki chicken! The orange chicken looked like sweet and sour because it had red sauce, and they won’t even let you sample before u buy. Big mistake buyin without trying it! The noodles and rice is the best thing going. For 6.50 They give u lots of food but not quality food. I would rather go to Panda Express before I eat here again. Oh yea they sale sweet and sour dog and sweet and sour rat if u ask em. Good luck

Excellent service n very delicious food. I remember eating from this place when they used to be located inside florin mall. When the mall closed I was sad but very happy that they moved n opened again. The nice lady up front is always very nice and always very generous with the food. They do give a very huge amount of food which is hard to believe n get in any other Chinese place. Must try their kung pao chicken, salt n pepper Fish, and chicken chow fun. Great price, delicious food and great service. Price went up but quantity remained the same.

I am obsessed with this place! I’ve been here four times in the past month. I usually order the Fried Fish Combo(5.25) with only chow mein as I am not a fan of rice. Just when you think theyre done packing on the noodles, they pack on another scoop! Id skip the general chicken, it was too salty. The kung pao chicken was quite tasty and not too spicy. I seriously can’t get enough of this place, highly highly recommend. HUGE portions and great prices!

My husband has been a regular for more than six years. Michelle, the owner knew what he wanted every time he walked in. So, when we got married and I moved up here mt husband got me hooked on it as well. I’ve been going for the past two years and I will still continue to go. Michelle is such a nice lady, she packs your food till the box can’t close! The chowmein are plain looking but the best I’ve had since I’ve moved up here. Love almost everything on the menu… they are pretty inexpensive for what you get. We do get the party trays from time to time and I like how we can order an hour ahead and it’ll be hot and ready for us. We’re regulars here and plan to be for a long time. Great customer service and yummy food!

Went tonight with my girlfriend and I ordered a plate(2 items) with half-and-half rice/mein with my choices being BBQ Chicken and Sweet and Sour Chicken(wanted pork, since it was on the menu, but they said they had chicken instead, so I went with it). The price was pretty decent, and they stuff so much food into their to-go boxes to where it’s hard to keep the thing closed, so on a price to quantity rating I would give it possibly a 4, but then when it comes to the flavor itself… it’s really bland. The chow mein is essentially just fat noodles without anything in it other than something that turned it all red, as if you were eating spaghetti with tomato sauce, and the tomato sauce was allowed to soak into the noodles. The fried rice was very bland as well. It had very slight color from added vegetables, but the vegetables seemed to be added just to have SOME color, but not to actually be considered part of the dish. BBQ Chicken wasn’t too bad, but it too was very bland. Lastly was the Sweet and Sour Chicken. And guess what! Yep, bland. The problem I am having with this review is that there wasn’t anything incredible, or incredibly bad. It was all pretty mediocre and average as if they were trying to play it safe. I have no idea how it is getting 5-star reviews unless people are rating it purely on the amount of food served, because other than that, there’s nothing memorable about it.

I come here often, but this will probably be my last time. They give you a BIGPORTION to the point where you can’t even close the box. I only come here if I’m desperate for to-go Chinese food during my lunch break. So for today’s food experience: I ordered a 2 item plate. Half & half chow mien and fried rice, sweet and sour pork and kung pao chicken. Chow mien is plain O’ chow mien. Noodle only & they don’t put any veggie or meat. It wasn’t cooked all the way because it was hard. Fried rice is plain O’ fried rice. Rice only & they don’t put any veggie or meat. not even eggs. The rice was hard. Sweet and sour pork was plain. It was hard to eat & I didn’t like it. I usually get their kung pao chicken but this time it wasn’t good at all. The chicken was too rough. Maybe overcooked? Who knows. This place is more like quantity vs quality.

Man this place fills you up! Not some place to dine in or expect service but expect a ton of food for one order! My boyfriend and I wanted to eat something not so pricy and he recommended coming to China express. He told me if we get 3 items it shouldn’t be too much. We ended up getting chow mein with orange chicken, salted fish and chicken Terriyaki I believe. You see the young man scooping up Hella meat and chow mein and you see him stuff it in a to go box! I was like God damn haha prices were super cheap as well. I forgot how much it was but it was around 10 bucks? Idk but I remember it was way cheaper than panda express if you wanna talk about portion. The food itself was really good. The chow mein noodles are pretty thick and the rice wasn’t so bad. I really liked the chicken Terriyaki here though. The orange chicken was OK, but I honestly am not a picky eater and it was decent enough for me to keep eating. I gave the salted fish to the bf so I can’t comment on that. I do remember I had a pot luck and someone brought over a huge ass tub of their chow mein and they said it was only 20 bucks and that thing fed all 10 of us but no one was able to finish the platter of chow mein lol I recommend this place to come grab quick Chinese food. I do have to say you might have to wait a while because they still cook their meat or customers ahead of you take ol’ sweet time
