Terrible service. Soup was bland. And the egg rolls were re-fried and tastes awful. I’ll never come back here again.

*Location/Accessibility: Average *Parking: Minimal!(I had to get creative while others were parked in the fire lane) *Seating: Tight. This place was packed and very small space as is! *Food: Decent. In all fairness, I’m one of those people who douse my Phở in soy sauce and hoisin and that ruins it for most people. I ordered the Won Ton Egg Noodle w/shrimp and pork. Shrimp was a bit over cooked and not deveined which is a pet peeve of mine. It was only $ 7.00 tho. *Service: They were nice but seemed a little irritated that I was dining alone and taking an entire table when they were busy(I don’t necessarily blame them). Ended up sitting at the end of a larger table with another couple(awkward) and the room was so cramped my «quiet dinner alone» was more like a loud family gathering.

Another favorite phở restaurant of mine in the south Sacramento area! They’re a Vietnamese restaurant with more than just phở, but I say phở restaurant because that’s almost all I ever get there(= Their phở is always good, never a day with an off taste. You can taste the freshness in the soup, and they’re always generous with their portions. Fair pricing as well. Love this place!

Best place for bun xeo. The portions are huge and you’ll leave feeling full as ever. The parking may be a hassle since the lot is kind of small. Will definitely come back. Great place for some authentic food. Would definitely come back in the future

Walking in I had my doubts. The restaurant appeared filthy and had a foul oder, but there we a good amount of people who appeared to be enjoying lunch. True to my gut-instinct, the food was terrible. It was truly disgusting. The fried rice was hard and clumped together; everything tasted and looked old. Still after receiving my food, I ate some of it. Now I am ill: stomach pain, nausea, fatigue. On a side note: they have two sections. One of which had plenty of empty seats, but was occupied by Caucasian and Asian patrons. The other section, by the back door and restroom had three tables, two of which were occupied by African American diners. Surprise surprise, we were seated in the one empty seat by the backdoor/restroom. Coincidence? I truly don’t care. I will never go back.

I love this place! It burnt down and I counted the days til it open. Drove by on a regularly to see the progress of the construction. My family and friends have been coming here for years. Their dry noodle dishes uses romaine lettuce and not iceberg and that says a lot to me! I’m a lettuce snob, I hate when place give me iceberg the cheapest lettuce you can buy. I’ve been to other Vietnamese place and they give me iceberg not the same. Their egg roll are deep fried using rice paper instead of traditional egg roll wrapper which makes it a lot more crispier. #18 is the way to go! I always get their chicken chow fun noodle soup, love the ginger garlic chutney on the side. If you never had stew beef you should definitely try stew beef chow fun or the stew beef noodle soup. Stew beef is a specific cut of meat cook over as long period of time. Comfort food at its finest.

FOOD Hu Tieu Mi Dac Biet: this was my first time not having a #22 or #49. I was hesitant but I needed something soupy, as I had a long night before(aka I drank too much). Their dac biet consisted of chicken, squid, fish balls, cilantro, and green onions. You could choose from rice noodles or eggs noodles. I got both. The broth came out piping hot! I usually try not to add sauce to my soup, as it takes away from the dish. The broth was good but it was slightly lacking. It tasted better with a small squirt of Hoisen sauce and Sriracha. The chicken was very tender, I didn’t touch the squid, and the fishball is your average fishball. 4⁄5 SERVICE There’s almost always a wait here. We waited about 10 minutes before we were seated. The waitress was polite. 3⁄5 FINALTHOUGHTS The soup is good, if you want to venture away from the grilled pork. I will always come back. Viet Ha is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants in Sac.

Great food. Awesome portions! I always contemplate either phở or bun bo hue at Viet places so I ordered both because this is my first time getting food from here. I always drive by it so why not get some food. I also got their famous #22. All was amazingly tasteful, I’ll for sure get bbh from here as I have other favorite spots for phở(I love trying broths from all over). Only 3 stars– Service, not so friendly(but that’s kind of expected), took a while for someone to even come to the front so I could pay and pick up food that was already bagged. I think this place needs to be a little more tidier. Please at least try to clean when serving food to the public. There were tables around the entrance that needed to be bussed. A mop and dirty bucket water was what greeted me at the door. First time eating from here and I can say I’ll probably order and pick up food from here again, just not dine in.

Definitely not the cleanest place, but still my Sacramento go-to phở restaurant(unless someone has another suggestion). This is your stereotypical Asian restaurant – small, tables are dirty and close to each other, and servers do not give much attention to customers. But I’ll keep going to this place anyway, mostly because of the Bun Bo Hue. The Bun Bo Hue is different from usual places. It is sweet and rich in flavor. Food here is also cheap, especially compared to the huge portion size that is given to you(One bowl is enough for two meals for me, which is unusual, especially for phở). The only drawback is that I’m pretty sure there’s MSG, as I always knock out or feel sleepy after eating(not because of the food coma).

Great won tons sometimes it could be too much cheese, but it still taste amazing! Also the phở number one combo is really good the tribe and soup it self isn’t water down. Customer service could be better but the beef and chicken is also good! Small building so you have to park around the corner is a hassle but it is worth it! Support local businesses!

Phở tastes like there is no lovin. Taste like water with beef flavor spices or left over soup with extra extra extra water. The place serves a lot of different type of people. I’m Asian an have grown to love phở and grew up on phở. I’ve had better. Disregard the four stars given on Unilocal if you’re looking for awesome and amazing dumbfounded phở

On the heart of the Florin Road strip in South Sacramento neighborhood, there’s this small Vietnamese/Chinese restaurant that serves good, comfort food at this crummy location, yet not to shabby for this place called, «Viet-Ha.» As my father and I entered for this place yesterday brunch morning on 9÷20÷2015, the atmosphere is alright despite of the smallest capacity of this small business room. There’s the only, one restroom available on the left side of the entrance door whether if you want to wash your hands, or simply needs your caring ahead. The service is alright as I welcomed there although it’s getting quite busy during the brunch peek hours. No issues at all. For the entrée ordering, I ordered the most recommended item by the restaurant: #22; It contains charbroiled pork with off-shelled grilled shrimps, sliced egg roll with small amount of chili sauce over steamed vermicelli noodles with lettuce & cucumber slices. So far, it tasted outstandingly good! The noodles cooked and steamed very well and eatable. The rest of the ingredients did work the notch! Not a bad meal! The parking is much harder to park. It has the smallest amount of parking spaces here, so if you want to take an advantage of it, good luck before it opens. Another way, you can park at the vacant gas station on the other side of the street, or simply parked at the surface street parking too. Otherwise, you can ride a bike, walk, or use public transit easier without the hassles. In the end, Viet-Ha is the finest Vietnamese and Chinese restaurant ever made in the South Sacramento neighborhood! Highly recommend!

Probably the dirtiest restaurant I’ve ever been to… and by Vietnamese standards!!! Bits of leftover food on the walls and the waitress brought out our waters with her thumb in the water and the fish sauce. Wipe everything down before you use it… we spent most of the time trying to shoo away flies. If the front of the house is this dirty. I shudder to think of how the kitchen is. The restaurant was packed and food was really good though. We ordered banh hoi… it was goooood

Different style of Bun Bo Hue but still good, especially for the price. If you eat the more standard Bun Bo Hue, you’ll understand the differences. Viet-Ha’s seems to have a sweetened based where the broth becomes more milky(coconut milk maybe?) The noodles are also cooked longer and don’t seem as firm as the bun bo hue I’m used to. it has all the normal fixens like the pork blood, beef, etc, but was missing the banana sprouts :( Overall though, still pretty good!

This is a great chinese/vietnamese restaurant with lots of yummy food in Sacramento! I come here a lot for lunch and always order the chicken phở or bun thit nuong :) The portions here are big and prices are super cheap and affordable! This place is a bit on the smaller side with not many tables and it can get super busy during the lunch hours and you’ll have to wait 5 to 10 mins for a table, and parking is small and super limited!

Very good divey local Vietnamese food place. Great prices, great food, typical service. I love this place. We come here for phở a couple times a month, whenever we are in the area. The plates are a couple dollars less than what you find downtown but all of the quality is there. Nice spot for a cheap lunch with a friend or as a stop on a day shopping in the south area.

I’ve lived in Sacramento for so many years and never noticed this place. It’s small and super easy to miss. The first time my boyfriend brought me here, I thought he was taking me to an abandoned establishment. The restaurant doesn’t look that clean; the walls and trimming can use some work and the tables are sticky, but your attention is taken aback by the Vietnamese aromas greeting you from the kitchen. Aside from the deteriorating appearance, the taste of the food is okay. I like their noodles, but I’m not a big fan of their rice plates. The majority of the items of the rice plates are lacking, but I do like the the charbroiled pork and pickled carrots and daikon. To my disliking, the rice here is more on the wet side. The egg foo young and meat in the egg rolls seem kinda of sour and when my boyfriend and I have rice plates, we always seem to leave with a tummy ache. The Egg Noodle Soup with Chicken is okay. The broth is clear and the soup itself doesn’t need added condiments. Viet-Ha’s prices are decent and the soups are okay, but I’ve had better.

Ah man, this place hits the spot. The portion sizes are massive here, and the food is good. Sure, the tri-color dessert isn’t as good as it is at other more legitimate Viet places, but man, Viet-Ha is dirt cheap, and jeebus, can you ask for larger bowls for under $ 7? I mean, it’s a Viet place, so you’re going to order the beef, and you’re going to mix your vermicelli noodles and giant beef bowl in siracha, hoisin sauce, and delicious, clear broth. I have to say, easily the best part of this meal is the broth. It’s clear and not MSG-laden or salty. It just tastes super fresh. You definitely want a vermicelli bowl though. It’s the classic. I will say this, however — the chow fun plates are humongous as well. Service? Ambiance? It’s a Chinese-Viet place. Get over it. Just come here, and grab a table if it’s not too busy and slurp your delicious bowl of goodness. Wonton noodle soup? Endless wontons with thin, but not falling-apart skin. Love it.

I drove down this street before and never noticed this place. It’s a hole in the wall that’s easy to miss. When we walked in, I didn’t find the place to be too pleasant with the dirty floor and there was also a pesky fly that wouldn’t shoo. I would most likely order to go next time. Egg Roll & Charbroiled Pork over Rice Noodles(Served with cucumbers, lettuce, bean sprouts, topped with shredded carrots, peanuts, and chopped cilantro) — It was refreshing and flavorful. I liked the fish sauce that came with it. I tried to pour just a little at first, but ended up dumping all of it over the rice noodles. I loved the egg roll as well. They use a different type of wrapper, which made the egg roll more crispy and flaky. It was a big portion for the price, so I was able to eat the rest later. I ended up eating most of it during the middle of the night, because I couldn’t stop thinking about it.
