I was referred here because my rheumatologist advised that I come see Dr. Kaplan — who has an office here. I’ll be reviewing that after this, but Reavis Rehab clinic is always full in the waiting room and you have to wait a good hour every time you are there. Not only that, but the front desk women seem so scattered that it’s not even worth it to try to talk to them. You stand in line for a good 10 – 15 minutes to check in and then wait another 45 to get into the appointment with a physical therapist — which is usually someone who can’t gage the fact that you are having a bad day and is overly peppy to the point of annoyance instead of being just a normal person. After being given«stretches» despite telling her and proving to her that I go to the gym 4 times a week and should be discharged due to the fact that I don’t need this — she still signed me up for 4 more sessions at $ 60 a pop. But you get to use the swimming pool!!! Yes, that was the big«yay» for them. That I get to spend $ 60 a week on a swimming pool that you don’t actually get to swim in but can do «aquatic stretches». A big no thanks to the Reavis Rehab & Wellness Center. Anna was super sweet, but she was a diamond in the rough.

Same here about Reavis Rehab Center. You schedule therapy with a PT and surprise, you end up getting an assistant who’s not quite sure what to do. Funny thing is they don’t tell you about the switch until you are standing at the counter. My first therapy session was 25 minutes in the pool. Then we went into the hot tub where the assistant left me by myself. I guess she got tired of the water. I cancelled the rest of my appointments and am going elsewhere.

I write this review in hope that I can save others from the pain that I believe Reavis has caused me to experience. I went to Reavis for physical therapy for a herniated disk. Over the course of the couple of weeks I had PT at Reavis, my condition worsened more than you would imagine is possible. I am in significantly more pain and my range of motion has also significantly decreased. In addition, I want others to know that Reavis provides PT through physical therapy assistants with very little supervision from a physical therapist. The assistants often seemed uncertain as to how to proceed during the sessions. I believe that their lack of expertise is part of the reason why my condition worsened while receiving treatment there.
