Therapy Central of Round Rock

If I could give these guys 100 stars, I totally would!!! I heard about them from a cousin, who heard about them from my dental hygienist (Jennifer at Shoal Creek Dental). My cousin’s back was messed up REALLY bad because he was in 2 different car accidents within 4 months and was in chronic pain with a high pain level. After his treatment with Ken, Andrew was jumping up and down and running around the office showing off his new found abilities. This is AFTER seeing multiple doctors, chiropractors, massage therapists, physical therapists, etc. I obviously made an appointment immediately and even though it’s slightly painful while Ken is working on you, after he’s done you feel like a brand new person.
Not only that, though! Throughout our 2 hour appointment he gave me a wealth of knowledge about «eating for my blood type», using a standing desk to stop my body from degrading itself (since our bodies weren’t designed to sit in an office chair for multiple hours per day), and various exercises to do at the gym. The guy is an expert in this field and I cannot recommend him enough to you.
But don’t take my word for it, give it a try for yourself. Your pain will be gone after only 1 treatment!!!

I would rate Therapy Central at 10 stars if I could. This is THE place to go if you suffer back pain. Ken and all the staff at the Therapy Central clinics use a very different form of massage therapy. It is a very deep muscle massage that restores the natural balance of your body’s muscular structure. Does it hurt? Yes, for a moment it does. Does it work? YES, IT DOES and very effectively so. I went to Ken for an extremely painful back. I could hardly walk into the clinic. After the first massage, I was able to walk normally and after two followup sessions my pain was completely gone.
I particularly appreciate the business philosophy that Ken has instilled at Therapy Central. The goal is to correct the root causes of your pain and to do that quickly and effectively. This is very different than the usual namby-​pamby rubdown that you typically would receive elsewhere that feels good for a moment, but keeps you coming back forever for future treatments. Instead, Therapy Central massage relies on personal word-​of-​mouth recommendations from satisfied patients who have found effective relief from pain.
In addition to massage therapy, Therapy Central will give you specific recommendations on how to lead a healthier lifestyle to help avoid pain in your life. For example, using Ken’s dietary recommendations, I lost 85 pounds over an 18 month period. I look and feel like a new person plus it was great fun in getting a new wardrobe to go with my new body. So to sum up, if you suffer from pain, get yourself to Therapy Central and be quick about it. You will forever bless the day that you did.

Is your body falling apart? Do you feel like you’re dead? Little extreme? Well let me just say, I’ve witnessed first hand and second hand that the good people at Therapy Central can perform miracles.
My girlfriend did some weird stuff at the gym one day and messed her lower back up. not cool. She tried to wait it out hoping it would get better. Well, 5 days later she could barely walk, sit, lay… anything. We were supposed to sit in the car the next day for 3 hours going to visit some family. This was not going to happen. We’ve been here before a few times and she knew she had to see someone there, otherwise one, we’re not going to the family thing, and two she’s going to be in some major pain.
We called the Saturday morning at 8am to see if anything could be done. This is of course super short notice to make an appointment, but they made it happen! They had someone come in that was off that day to help her. We were so thankful! 2 hours later and she was able to walk, sit, etc. She will probably need some follow up visits, but I’d say 85% of her pain was relieved.
The one time I had some work done was extremely painful for the first part, but I personally can testify that the therapy done here is something that can change they way your body feels and operates. Not only do they release your muscle pain, and get your blood flowing right again, they educate you on what you should be doing to help your body operate more efficiently. If you have any body pain whatsoever you should make yourself an appointment. They have free consultations from time to time as well.

I went to see Ken at the Round Rock location for a nagging shoulder injury that just wasn’t progressing after three months of PT. Man, it hurt. But, man, it worked! After the first session, I had nearly full range of motion back in my shoulder. I went back for a couple of follow-​ups, just to keep things moving. I’ll be heading back for more work on my other nagging aches and pains. I couldn’t recommend Ken and his team more.
