If you know me at all, you know I love the sandwiches. The Fickle Pickle offers a wide variety of delicious ingredients encased in various forms of bread. My two favorites are the Ooey Gooey(Pimento cheese, bacon & pepper jelly on grilled sourdough) and the Reuben. I can also recommend the Cajun Fried Pickles. I love that one of the sides offered is a Wedge Salad. Prepare yourself mentally for waiting in an awkward line if you come during lunchtime crunchtime. You will find yourself being jostled about and fearful of a soup Nazi situation. Fear not, the folks are ten kinds of friendly and the food will be worth your trouble.

I LOVE The Fickle Pickle. I have probably been to The Fickle Pickle about 15 times over the past 6 years and still am a huge fan. The employees are always so pleasant and helpful. The food is delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend the Brie BLT and the Bleu Cheese Chips. There are lots of seating options. The atmosphere is southern and quaint, and the ice cream/dessert shop in the back is adorable and yummy. I cannot praise The Fickle Pickle enough. If you live in the Roswell area and haven’t gone yet, you’re missing out.

Decent little sandwich shop that has a lot of character. Starting out, the shop is a little hectic getting into the way the ordering system wraps through the center of the restaurant going by the bathroom and soft drink section. This makes it awkward as you are in the way a lot. The food is very good. Sandwiches have a lot of flavor and plenty of sauce on them. The sweet potato fries are some of the best around and the fried pickles are a fan favorite. The outside seating is great on a beautiful day if you can get it.

Southern charm meets a café style restaurant. You walk in, get a ticket with the table number. Then you go to the counter, make your selection and pay. You then go to your table where you enjoy your drink of choice and wait for your food to be served. They have plenty of inside sitting area but their patio is the real jewel. You sit surrounded by plants and under the shades of trees. It’s the perfect way to enjoy your weekend brunch/lunch. As for the food it’s a true southern food, very filling and flavorful. Ordered the chicken salad sandwich and the tilapia sandwich. Both well done. Besides the sitting area and amazing food what shines the most is their service. From the person who gives you the ticket at the entry to the one who takes your order, their service is very friendly. Lastly they have another café which offers a myriad selection of desserts and coffee/tea selections. The cream cheese brownie was phenomenal. We’ll be back very soon.

Love, love love this place! It’s a Roswell Staple and a truly family friendly restaurant that has great food, lovely people and a cool, cozy atmosphere inside and a fantastic patio outside. It’s great for a lunch date with friends or kiddos, the food is all good, so no matter what you order you won’t be disappointed. My personal fave is the Ooey gooey sandwich which is Pimento cheese, bacon & pepper jelly on grilled sourdough. I never even liked Pimento cheese untiI I tried this one day. Wow! It’s a yummy treat. The Asian salmon salad is great as well, and is a regular order for me. Last week I tried the tuna melt and it was totally delicious and huge. My husband loves their burgers and the Creole Cuban panini which has a kick to it! Kids menu is great too and they let them get a dessert treat from the Sugar Shack which is amazing. This is one of my kids favorite places to eat and when it’s warm out they beg us to eat here so they can sit on the patio and finish off their meal with yummy ice cream from the sugar shack! The only tricky part is the parking lot, it’s tiny and always packed.

A Roswell staple. The Fickle Pickle is a fun lunch spot, and just as nice if you’re looking for a light dinner. The location itself is too cute, with great porch and patio seating too. Parking is usually tricky here, especially on the weekends. Their fried pickles, are obviously wonderful and come with a yummy Cajun/creole style dipping sauce. Their pimento cheese is also really great, as is their tomato soup. My go-to meal is ½ a blue cheese wedge salad with ½ a Brie BLT sandwich. They also have punch cards here, so be sure to ask for one if you’re thinking of coming back!

very cute lunch spot. If you love to «lunch with the girls», highly recommend. We visit more during the spring and fall, when you can dine al fresco on the patio. On our last visit I had the pickle bowl for an app., came with pickled okra, so yummy. We are big fans of the shrimp salad, amd most sandwiches. The Ooey Gooey, is a delicious ooey mess.

They get 5 stars for the Cajun Sweet Potato Fries! I don’t hand out 5 stars easily. You must do something right. This little gem had me at the name Fickle Pickle! Parking is a bit of a challenge because this place is a FAV! No worries… there is ample parking across the street. As temptress I was to order a sandwich or a big salad, I chose to go with three sides so that I could get exactly what I wanted which was sweet potato fries! Bring it Baby! Besides, I have a four hour drive ahead of me. All other options would be a heavy seat in my stomach. My lunch: Cup of Tomato Basil soup. Great tomato taste. Great spice. Great cheese accent. Great homemade croutons. And was that Truffle Oil that I tasted on top?! Iceberg Wedge. Why I thought this was like all other wedges that I’ve eaten… and they ARE my favorite… this was literally a wedge of iceberg lettuce, not even a real fresh one, with a single serving of Bleu cheese dressing. So odd. Wouldn’t recommend. Sweet Potato Fries. Seriously… I can’t even. They were crispy. They were tasty. They were the BEST! Unsweet Decaf Tea with a Raspberry Sweet Tea shot. All in all an enjoyable lunch.

The food was everything I had hoped and imagined it would be! I had been wanting to have lunch here for over a year, and it was certainly worth the wait. I loved the unique sandwich combinations, and the fact I had a hard time deciding is a good sign. I cannot wait to go back and continue working my way through the menu — there are still so many I want to try.

Food is awesome, creative and fresh. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer, it was a generous helping and unlike others the batter sticks, delicious creole remoulade sauce. We had a bacon wrapped trout fillet sandwich, chicken salad with cranberries and hazelnuts on a croissant, and the«ooey gooey», a grilled cheese with pimento, bacon, and pepper jelly. All with sweet potato fries. The restaurant is converted house, giving it a lot of character. Unlike similar conversions, it’s plenty open and spacious.

I really love the concept of The Fickle Pickle. The restaurant’s setting is in a converted house on Historic Canton Street in Downtown Roswell. The parking lot can be very tricky as there is always a lot of traffic coming in and out of The Fickle Pickle. Once you make your way inside and to the ordering counter there is a giant chalkboard with all the options of sandwiches, soups, salads, and specials that one could want. For the most part they are your typical sandwiches but with a unique twist like the Creole Cuban or Brie BLT. There especially known for their Fried Green Tomato Sandwich and their fried pickles. All of the sandwiches are $ 9.95 and definitely fairly priced at that number. There are a lot of great options for sides but i personally think a side of soup is the way to go. It’s best bang for your buck and there is usually a few different options. Although The Fickle Pickle can be and usually is a little hectic and crowded and it’s definitely worth the trip.

I came here for lunch and ordered the chicken tortilla soup, catfish sandwich, and hot chips. The soup was okay, and nothing to write home about, but the chips and sandwich were delicious. The portions are very large for the lunch, and the hot chips were absolutely addictive. I could tell my fish was freshly fried, and the piece was a huge, whole catfish. The young lady at the register was a bit confused and slow, but everyone else was super nice and friendly. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area again!

Call me «Fickle,» but if your going to present the whole authentic/historic vibe, maybe use authentic ingredients. Just got the«Cuban» sandwich and it was about as Cuban as I am. Just call it what it is, a process ham and turkey sandwich, warmed up. Cool vibe I guess, but you’re paying for just that, not high quality food.

Fun charming atmosphere with a variety of lunch items. Not gluten free friendly although they do offer a menu of selected items. Example: burger without bun or salad without croutons, and similar scaled down offerings on a printed separate menu. You stand in line and order your food. Once you pay you pick up your fork knife napkins and drinks. They tell you once you pay that full service will begin at your table. The only full service we received was when they came to take away the plates and clear the table. Food was reasonably priced, and the people that took our order at the counter were lovely. The food quality was OK but the experience itself was a little disappointing. Fickle Pickle is a fun name. A server coming to the table to ask if we liked the food or could we use anything else would’ve been nice. No Full service in insight.

Three of us shared a half order of their fried pickles which were good & the portion was very generous — we couldn’t eat them all — so I have no idea how big a full order would be. I had the fried green tomato salad and it was very tasty. You get two slices of tomato on top of greens and cherry tomatoes along with a decent amount of goat cheese, chutney and balsamic. The flavors were great — I would probably ask for the fried tomatoes to be on the side next time as they kind of make the green wilt — but that is a minor quibble. The folks I was having lunch with had a sando with side salad and the burger with no bun and both looked very good. I would head back to try some more of their menu.

This is an excellent place out in the Historic town of Roswell. Granted, it’s my first visit to the area so I am not too sure if there are any other must visit places. However, upon trying this joint, I am in love with Historic Roswell area. I ordered a Reuben and wife ordered a sandwich with Brie cheese in and it was brilliant. Oh and the clam chowder is a must get along with the sweet potato fries. Just the right amount of saltiness combined with sweetness is absolute heaven. :) The clam chowder looks nothing like the good old classic English clam chowder, it’s rather weird looking, but one spoon of the soup and you’ll dig your face into the little cup of a bowl. Overall a pleasant visit, hope to come back soon!

Stopped in here for lunch on my day exploring Georgia and was immediately drawn in by the name. I love pickles so it was only fitting that I ate here. The Fickle Pickle is located in Downtown Roswell and its got a really small town feel in a large suburban area. Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by a very large pickle statue that I felt it was necessary to have a photo opportunity with it. The way it works here is you walk in and place your order at the counter and they bring the food out to you where ever you are sitting. They have indoor and outdoor seating, the front porch where I decided to park my toosh. I ordered a half order of fried pickles, the southwest shrimp salad, and a coors light. The fried pickles were delish and had a cajun seasoning to them that paired well with the creole remoulade sauce. The flavor left my mouth craving more and more. My salad was out of this world with crisp iceberg lettuce, cajan shrimp, corn and black bean salsa, creamy avocado, cheddar cheese, tortilla strips and paired with a chipotle ranch dressing that I opted our for blue cheese. The pairing of the spicy shrimp with the cool blue cheese was really refreshing. I really enjoyed coming here and experiencing the relaxing feel that comes over you while sitting and people watching from the front porch. Can’t wait to come back and try out some other menu items. .

«Nice pickle chips, by the way.» — Supernatural: Season 7, Episode 1 Oh, Fickle Pickle, how to entice me with such amazing sammie goodness. Usually, my order is the same. Fried Green Tomato with pepper jack cheese and tomato jam all on sourdough. It is heaven between two slices of bread. However on my most recent visit, I was enticed by the special — how could I not. Meatloaf…wrapped in bacon, topped with arugula and provolone on a toasty bun… now that is a sandwich. I opted for their killer tomato basil soup on the side — as my usual. It is the perfect combination — soup and sammie, especially on a cold and blustery day. The rich, thick slice of meatloaf with the salty bacon wrapped around it with the tomatoey finish. Add in the peppery of the arugula and it was just delightful. This should be a regular menu item — not a special. Also, we ordered fried pickles for the table — a must any time you go to FP. They are perfectly breaded and fried and not too heavy. Served with a Remoulade Sauce that is the perfect companion. I finished it all off with a chocolate ginger cookie that was to die for good — I was full, but I fit it somehow. The staff here is some of the best anywhere — my drink stayed full for the entire lunch. I never had to tell anyone what I was drinking — they are clairvoyant — I was drinking unsweet iced tea. How you can tell the difference when it is in the glass between the other kinds of iced tea they have available, I have no idea. Overall — this place is amazing. I only wish I had more time to go more often. Arrive early to ensure there is little wait and always make sure you have your entire party there before you try to get seated.

Had lunch with a fellow Unilocaler today. I’d say the great company coupled with the coziness of this place made it a spectacular late lunch. Service was great. The food was superb even though it’s on the higher end, but hey, you’re paying for that extra locality, food specialty of the place, and freshness. Now… How you order is a tad different than most places. Once you enter, take in the cuteness of the place while you wait to be seated. The host/hostess will provide you menus. At this point, you can either head to the appointed section of the restaurant and table or just go straight to the main counter to order. It’s somewhat tucked to the left if you head straight in. Order than head back to your table; someone will bring the food out. Don’t forget to grab your drink, utensils, and napkins. You can also check out the Sugar Shack in the Back(also by the same owner) for some sugary sweets. :) I was unsure what to order, but I got two recommendations for the shrimp burger. It sold me there. The patty is a tad unique. It’s more of in a pâté form. Anyway, you also get a side item choice(soup, fries, potato salad, and other items I can’t remember). The burger was pretty flavorful and unique tasting. The potato salad was super fresh. I loved how it was moist and flavorful. Most places either have it too dry or flavorless. I’d say it was a good combo choice. A warm soup would have been nice too. Parking is a tad chaotic, but there’s additional parking across the street. It’s at the Foundry lot – something with Foundry in it. Lol.
