Roswell Founders Hall

DJed a wedding here for the first time this weekend and was VERY impressed. Excellent layout for your big day, especially if you plan to have the ceremony and reception at the same location. Beautiful outdoor spot in the rear of the property for your ceremony — nice garden and porch for a cocktail hour — and ornate indoor facility for your party. I like the touch of the bar in a separate room, so guests have the option to step away from the party for conversation. The staff was friendly, organized, and everything ran like clockwork!

Roswell Founders Hall is an amazing venue. They take care of everything… even on the day of! Because of Founders Hall we were able to plan an amazing wedding in 5 months. Emily is incredibly organized and helpful. All of the vendors they work with are amazing. And they work together often, so they know each other well. Our photographer knew the DJ– so they communicated about upcoming important events that we’d want photos of. Everyone works well together and everything went smoothly. We were so happy with the Venue and the staff!

Roswell Founder’s Hall was a beautiful venue for our wedding and our guests loved it, too! Tami and Emily are fantastic and they work with you on every detail. The process leading up to the wedding was organized and professional. Talk of the Town Catering collaborates with this venue location, making the communication between catering and venue a breeze. I LOVED this place for our wedding Feb. 17^th, 2013. We felt so loved and taken care of by Tami and her staff. Tami was worth the money alone! She took care of all my questions, we planned from CA, i emailed her like everyday! She treated me like the only bride in the world, and was so happy for me! Day of the wedding she wrangled all my people to where they needed to be on time, she made sure the day ran so smoothly, i honestly didn’t worry about ANYTHING! The wait staff was also a dream, very friendly and proffessional, they came up to me a few times in the night and complimented me and said how much fun it looked like we were having, they truly made me feel like my wedding was the best wedding ever! They also suggested great photo ops for us beacuse they knew the house so well! The food was the best, we got many, many comments on how great it was, and they packed us a to-​go box of food, which we ate for breakfast the next day. There were just so many little things that made this venue so much better than any other. They truly care how you are doing, Tami found me throughout the night to check on me and my drink needs. She also went to my mother and mother-​in-​law for questions so she didn’t disturb my night!!! She was just so great, I STRONGLY recommend this place! Our friends had so much fun and loved the venue as well! We feel so lucky to have stumbled apon this place, i suggest you book them now!

I’m a little conflicted about this review. I wish I could create subcategories and rate those instead of giving an overall review. We used Founders for a wedding reception and absolutely loved our reception. The location is beautiful, and everything was handled very efficiently. For appearance, location, and execution of the event, I would give them five stars.
I didn’t really enjoy the planning with them because the staff is a bit unapproachable, definitely impatient, and frankly, just a little too snooty to overlook. I was grateful to have a wedding planner who handled most of the contact with them. I’m a people person, and I can tell you, you won’t get the warm fuzzies from this crowd. Food is handled by their catering company, which is technically separate, but Founders provides the beverages– sort of a strange dichotomy– and they don’t really have a great selection in terms of wine and beer. They are also slightly higher on those items than most other comparable venues. For planning and customer service I give them two stars.
I would like to point out that the servers were excellent and very friendly to our guests, but they were provided through the catering company that did the food. We also enjoyed working with the caterer to plan our menus, but again, she works at the catering company rather than for Founders Hall itself.

I’ve worked with this venue on several occasions. Very professional staff and gorgeous venue.
