The manager here is so rude, he was yelling at one of the employee because she ate something. He was telling her that she will be terminated just because she ate something! What a rude manager. He is half bold and he is the one who need to be terminated

STAYAWAYPEOPLE. This location cares ZERO about your order or their service, which can lead to very bad things. I have had undercooked food, incomplete orders, wrong orders, 20 min wait times, and rude service. Since they are the only drive thru in the immediate area they get away with it since people will continue to give them business. If you can get out of your car go to ROYROGERSJUSTONEBLOCKDOWN!!!

This weekend must have been the one for bad customer service experiences because I have indeed had a weekend to remember. Yesterday after having a mani/pedi and against my better judgment, I opted to grab a pre-dinner snack — fries & a strawberry lemonade for my drive home. Sounds simple but not so much! I hate that I have to give this place any stars because it deserves NONE! I approach the drive thru & order a small fry & a small strawberry lemonade. My total is $ 5.07. My thought: hmm, I should have just gotten a junior meal. It’s only $ 5. I’ll just add a burger at the window. I approach the window and a sweet, young girl opens the window and I ask to add a junior bacon cheeseburger — no mayo, no tomatoes. She proceeds to tell the others. I give my card, she swipes and says my total is $ 7.18. Okay… wait. Why not just charge me for the meal, isn’t it cheaper? So I ask, she politely says she didn’t know because she’s new. Ooookay, well let’s get a manager because I’m certain it makes more sense to ring me for a meal rather than each item individually. Here is where things got really ugly… The restaurant manager, Elvin — yes, the MANAGER approaches the window with the nastiest attitude. He asks the attendant the problem. She proceeds to explain and he tells her that he doesn’t understand the problem. Eeeer, stop the press! I’m sitting right here. Ask me! So I tell him I ordered a cheeseburger when I approached the window & making it a meal would be less expensive. He says to me, well you’ve already paid so I don’t understand the problem. Yep, he tried it! So I say if I were to change my mind all together, what would you do? He says refund your money. So I’m like okay, let’s just do that and you give me the difference of what a meal would cost. Let me place a caveat here because I really wanted to understand his disposition. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. So I honestly think either he couldn’t add or didn’t know how to process a refund because he was so frazzled and rude. My issue, not that he tried it by telling me in other words that I had already paid more so deal with it, but his tone. There is a tactful way to say and do all things. He was highly unprofessional and rude to his employees! Unacceptable! So back to Elvin… he’s shaking his head and telling the new girl she should have rang up the meal. So I say to him, I ordered the cheeseburger once I approached the window and it’s not her fault. He’s shaking his head & mumbling under his breath. I’m counting to 10 in my head because I really want to go off at this point… and I did. But not yet. He finally decided it would be easier to refund me for the burger($ 2.18) okay fine. That works. He tells me next time I need to know what I want before I get to the window. Yep, he tried me again! But I’m counting and breathing because I’m hangry(hungry+angry) at this point. I FINALLY get my bag and check my burger and it has mayo and tomatoes. Elvin started scolding this poor girl. I say hang on a second, I asked for no tomatoes & no mayo & she told them. I heard her. He then starts yelling at Kamesha who took my order. Anyhow, he’s going on and on about how they got the order wrong and Kamesha is trying to explain & I finally say you know what, just give me a refund. ALLHELLBROKELOOSE! So the new girl tells him I’ve requested a full refund(remember the caveat above?) he lost it! He tells her(as I’m still there and can hear him) that I need to move because they now have other customers. Hell to the no! I’m not moving! Refund now! This has become a $ 7 fiasco not worth my time or energy. Elvin, the grump yells for the new girl to go outside and take the money of the customers behind me. Startled and confused she’s like you want me to do what? He yells, «GOGETTHEMONEYFROMTHEOTHERCUSTOMERS!!» Kamesha decides to come out instead. Elvin proceeds to tell the new girl that he’s not giving me anything and if I want my money, I need to move my car. Okay, now you’re trying my patience and your other customers are beginning to leave because I’m not going anywhere. At this point, I begin to address him by his first name. I ask him to give me a refund and he’s like move your car. I say no, and he says then I’m not giving you your money. This went on at least another 5 minutes. Long story short, the lady that stepped in was the cook, I believe. She was like dude, just give her a refund. He’s still trying to make me move my car and there is no one else in line. I finally received my money and Kamesha walks outside to apologize. It’s unfortunate that she had to come and try to defuse a situation that the store manager created! She was very kind. She apologized & asked me if there were anything she could do to accommodate me. At this point, I would never eat there! I called customer service & I’m awaiting a call from that DM. I am appalled at how I was treated all for a $ 5 meal and a situation created by the manager. Do not bother!

beware of this wendys. avoid this location at all costs. the tables are forever filthy, trash on the floors and the restroom never seems to be clean. the employees are decent with the attitude, however one of the managers makes you not even want to come enjoy food at this hell hole. you can see it in his face. something is totally wrong with this dude

Been here dozens of times, never great never bad. Tonight went in the drive thru at 11pm. As fast as food is expected. They filled my frostie cup a little over halfway. Guy asked if i needed anything else and saw me looking disappointed in my cup. Without me even complaining he said it was a «rookie mistake» and took it back. Gave it back with an ice cream swirl on top overflowing the cup. He was lookin out for me.

When I usually order here I almost always use the drive thru. I get a good laugh when fast food joints try and go the healthy route. I get a bigger laugh at the people who order those healthy options. What I love about Wendy’s, especially this one in particular is that they give it to you straight. «We know our food is greasy and bad for you… BUT it’s delicious!» I order the number 1 medium. The burger buns are nicely buttered and toasted. The meat is juicy. The lettuce and tomatoes are fresh. When you take a bite into that burger everything seems to melt in your mouth! A couple of sea-salt fries, and a sip of coke I swear you’re in heaven! I really do endorse this Wendy’s because I’ve been to other Wendy’s and its been like eating stale cardboard.(X_X”)

Horrible service. I’m given the wrong food every single time and told to come all the way back to the store to get correct food. Huge waste of time. Tonight the food was not only incorrect but most was inedible. Managers don’t care and are completely unprofessional. Steer clear don’t waste your time or money. Filthy tables and unfriendly staff. A third of the tables had leftover trash on top of them and the staff didn’t lseem to care to clean anything. The cashier also seemed to think that my mom(who speaks with a hispanic accent) was some idiot and was very rude. 4:30PM

This place is a stones-throw from my house, but I have vowed never to go again. The service is terrible. I don’t expect a gourmet meal or any thing. Just don’t make me wait forever to just place my order. I swear it would end up being an hour long ordeal whenever I went there. The real issue is they only ever have one person on register. When you’re 5 deep in line I think its time to get someone on another register.

I have been going to this location on and off since I was little. Nice interior but constantly have issues with drive thru ordering and the parking is awkwardly adjacent to the building with a long path to cross to the building. Not to terrible if you stay on guard when ordering and check the bag before you leave or the tray when you dine in.

I’m a fan of this Wendy’s, for the most part. The staff is generally nice. When I mentioned that they forgot part of my order, instead of rolling their eyes or displaying any sort of frustration, they apologized and fixed it. Pretty clean(both restaurant and the restrooms). Can’t go wrong here! The drive through is also good and it’s located at a convenient spot in Rockville near the corner of Rockville Pike &1st St

I could complain about the lukewarm fries I received, but I have a bigger fish to fry today. I don’t know what possessed this young man working the drive thru to say«PEACEOUT» to a customer. When is it ever ok to say that to someone you are conducting business with? I COULD pull the race card on this one, but I felt personally offended as a customer. I’ve always had a love and respect for Wendy’s, the quality of their food and service. However, my experienced today truly bothered me. So, dear manager who shall hopefully read this, please tell your employees that is NEVER ok to say«Peace Out» when conducting business(unless working as a disco DJ or at a strip club)…especially to my 29-year-old ADULT friend. I’ve never been on the inside of this Wendys. The associates have always been courteous in the drive-thru and I have never had an issue with my order. Yesterday I ordered the strawberry frosty parfait. It was ok. The 1.79 price definitely made the taste better.

Fast Food. Most fast food places taste exactly the same everywhere. However, according to my girlfriend who has been in MD most of her life, this location is supposedly the best location out of all the other Wendy’s locations in the Rockville/Silver Spring/Wheaton local area. All the other spots don’t compare to this one and tastes different. Do I taste the difference? I absolutely have no clue at all, but I trust her judgement when it comes to food because we like the same things. So maybe next time you decide to stop by a Wendy’s, trek over to this one to see if it is any better.
