Crecco’s Cafe

This is a great place for sandwiches and wraps and appetizers. The pizza is good too. But if you are looking for good Italian, look elsewhere. I would not order pasta or something like chicken parm from this place. The delivery super fast though, which is great. I have never been inside, only deliveries.

I love it here. I order food to pick up pretty frequently, more than I should, but its so good I cant help myself. Apart from pizza, i usually get the chicken parm sandwich. The pizza is very good an flavorful but sometimes a little heavy on the cheese. I love the parm sandwich, its my favorite. The people who work there are very nice.

Fantastic local pizza and Italian food! They have a very friendly staff and are always willing to accommodate any type of order. They have great healthy choices as well. One of my favorite staples in the area.

This is one of my favorite pizzerias in Bergen County and I used to work at one for years. The pizza is delicious. If you get a slice in store they are huge! I also love the eggplant wrap and the green apple salad. Love this place!

Excellent pizza, panini’s, chicken franchese, Meat Ravioli, Pumpkin Ravioli in Season. I could go on and on. Never dissapointed

We recently moved into River Vale and was very happy to find Crecco’s.
Great food, and service. Prices are also very reasonable.

No better place for takeout italian in the area… seems like everything here is above and beyond what most of the other local italian take out places offer… deff recommended

Average, would give more stars except that every time I order something off the grill it has that burnt taste… and not in a good way. Pizza is good but I’ve had better in the area.

Adequate pizza, decent sandwiches and entrees and very good salads. The service is okay but they do tend to forget items frequently.

Food is fine. Service including rude phone manner, Screwed up orders and My pet peeve, cleanliness are in question as I witnessed the girl sneeze into her hands and NOT wash them afterwards. That was the last straw.
They are notorious for forgetting parts of orders. Garlic knots, salad w/​o dressing, no side dish pasta, etc. the last five orders they forgot something four times.
To their credit, they offered to deliver the forgotten bit, but I said no whereupon they offered a credit. «Hi, you owe me $ 1.75» makes me feel petty.

Crecco’s makes a good pizza — my favorite is the veggie with the breaded eggplant but sadly on my last trip there I was disappointed. The pizza was good but not as good as I remembered and the service was kind of rude. One of the employees was too busy talking to the other and refused to move out of the way when I was trying to pay at the counter. But really, what more can you expect from NJ?

Never again. Pizza was okay but one dimensional. Nothing special. Crust was rather good so 2 stars instead of 1. What really threw me off was the worker behind the counter. As I was waiting for and then eating my pizza, I noticed the worker use the utensils to put pizza in the oven only when she thought customers were looking. When they were not, she just grabbed a slice and tossed it in. No hand wash or anything.

I really love Crecco’s. It has a HUGE menu and gives a ton of options. It is an excellent choice for vegetarians and meat-​eaters alike. I rarely get the pizza because there are just way too many other good options.
The whole-​wheat penne vodka is delicious — always plenty of sauce to soak up with the bread by the end. The garlic knots are out of this world: so doughy.
The salads are big and they do not shy away from giving you plenty of the good stuff. The Mediterranean and Greek salads are THE BOMB! Grape leaves in your salad? Yes, please! In fact, I just tried the white balsamic vinaigrette, and I’ll never go back to another dressing again. DROOL.
As far as the atmosphere goes, I’ve seen it all in Crecco’s. Personally, I like to take out from Crecco’s most of the time. Sitting there on a weekend can be busy and loud. But I’ve also walked in other times and have seen diners enjoying a quiet evening with wine.
If you are looking for yummy food to please all appetites, this is a great option.

We get the margarita pizza delivered. Sometimes we eat there as well. No waiter service but a very family run feel. Nice people and good food.

Just moved to town and have ordered food from Crecco’s numerous times. The pizza is alright, but the salads are what we keep ordering. They are fresh and the portions are pretty generous. The garlic knots are delicious as well.

Creccos is mediocre on all counts. Average pizza except the Margarita, Meh italian, noisy inside, and bad parking lot that put you going southbound on River Vale road with no convenient way to turn around. Substandard to most pizza places in the RV/​HD/​WW area, but hey, they have Gelato!

We come here at least once a week on average with the kids. The pizza is fantastic, especially the margarita pizza. The salads are awesome. They are always fresh and customizable if you’d like. We’ve eaten sandwiches and the dinner specials and have never been disappointed. The best part, the prices are low compared to every other pizzeria in the area. Highly recommend trying it. This has become our second kitchen over the last 3 — 4 years.

Great local delivery place with so-​so pizza*. Which is kind of weird… since this is a pizza place.
Salads are always fresh & delicious, garlic knots are tasty, cannolis are great. In-​restaurant & delivery service are both fast and friendly. They’re open till 10, even on Sundays. Not much to complain about here!
*Their white pizza and Sicilian is worth ordering, but I wouldn’t reccomend the regular. Something weird about the dough.
