This is up the street from where my girls play softball, so we’ve been here a few times recently. The food has always tasted great. Even when they’re busy, I’ve never felt rushed. Our servers have always been friendly. The Chicago Pizza is delicious. I order it for carry out because it takes a while for them to make it. After having the pizza here, pizza anywhere else just doesn’t come close.

Andrew is the best bartender! He’s very attentive, always makes sure we are comfortable and have all the food and drinks we need. Best pizza and IPAs, or whatever beer you’d like.

This is a great spot to either enjoy a beer or have a nice dinner or both. I’ve always had great service. The food is great start out with cheese fries and bacon.

Don’t go there in the early afternoon! I was served A COLD LEFTOVER SLICE OF ‘Chicago Deep Dish’. THE ABSOLUTE WORST PIZZA I’ve ever had! DRIED UP, LIFELESS, COLD, PALE PINKISH REDDISH SAUCE on top with grey cheese. Nooooo meat even though it was ‘meat lovers’. It’s like no one cares about food service there at least CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU R SERVING IN THE LUNCH HOUR!
The dressing for the salad was gray w/​white sour spoiled chunks for EVERY type of salad dressing, insanity.:-(This was served even though I CHANGED THE TYPE OF DRESSING! WTF? MAYBE the evening service is better. IDK. Afraid to go there for food now. Spending money elsewhere LOL. The waitress was nice however. There was also a very, very bad plumbing issue in the toilet.:-(A huge chunk of s… t floating in the toilet in spite of several flushes.:-(:(:(

Romanos has such bad service that because of lack of service and the belief that their name alone will bring crowds we now go to Farfallas for our Italian which is half the price and they do not skimp on taste. You should think of this place before going to Romanos

This is the worst place I’ve ever been too. Besides the service being bad the manager was worse. I thought a costumer was always right. I waited 20 minutes just to get a cup of water! They ruined my night.

The service from the waitress was the best part. The floors were dirty. I had slices of old pieces of pizza under my table. I ordered the Chicago style spicy Italian. It was ok. It came out warm. Not coming back and won’t recommend it to anyone.

Ordered My Sister’s Favorite with sausage. Not enough sausage. REALLY good pizza though. And amazing cannolis.

Bruschetta has a lot of garlic, so much that it’s spicy. But the rest of the food is really good and I wish they would give out free like bread because their food does take awhile to make, especially custom pizzas

Spent the night here for my bestfriend’s 21^st birthday and I had an amazing time! Andrew made out night the best with all of his amazing drinks. Every time I come here he always makes it the best and I’m glad he was here tonight to make the night awesome!

So Chicago dat I expected to find da real Swerski Brudders inside! #dabears #dabulls. Came in late tonight after seeing a show downtown Riverside and it was my first time dining here! Jade was my server and she was super awesome and very accommodating given that they were closing in 20 minutes and she was even willing to let me order a deep dish Chicago pizza which I know takes 45 minutes! Either way, when I found that they had Chicago dogs and Italian beef, I said there was no need for the pizza that I would be thrilled with the dogs! They even happened to have some deep dish pepperoni by the slice for the end of the night so I ended up with the best of both worlds! The only question remaining is who is going to drive me back to San Diego well I am suffering from food coma? I love Romanos and I will certainly return!

If you’re looking to have a good time, with some great drinks, and great food then check out Ramono’s! My bar tender last night was awesome ! His drinks and customer service are ON POINT! His name was Andrew, so if you go to the bar side ask to see if Andrew if working he’ll make sure you’re experience there is an awesome one! Couldn’t say I’ve had a better bar tender then Andrew, and I’ve tried nearly every bar in Riverside. This is my first time writing a review for a bar just because of Andrew and his EXCELLENT Service. Will be back for sure ! Also there was another girl I think her name was Patricia? Anyways she was extremely nice and attentive. Andrew and Patricia are the BEST employees, I’ll be back for sure! All around a great bar. During the day they have a full restaurant that has AMAZING food. Not sure what time the kitchen closed but I got food sitting at the bar around 12 something last night and it was very fresh and Tasty! If you’re around the area and looking for a drink and maybe a bit to eat hit up Ramono’s you’ll not be disappointed !!
Again one last time Andrew the bar tender and Patricia the server were extremely nice, attentive, and make you feel at ease. Thank you ANDREW and PATRICIA for making Ramono’s an excellent experience!

This place has terrible service in the bar area. Tried it a few weeks ago, bad service. Went last night to see if it was any better and it was actually worse. Waited 45 minutes for a waitress to help us and nobody ever came. Tried to look for a manager but saw nobody around. This is probably the worst service I’ve ever had.

Always good service I love when Brian bar tends he’s always attentive and thoughtful. Denise and Andrew are also beyond sweet to me.

Went there last night, It wasnt to crowded we got seated less then 10 mins. The waitress came over took our order — she didnt write it down? Which she probably should of.
1 Kids spaghetti — Great,
1 med pizza pineapple /​canadian bacon — great
1 kids pizza w/​pepperoni — NO pepperoni was told it was under the cheese, never found it
My daughter got a hot pastrami sandwich — waitress brought out the wrong one, and said they are fixing it will be out in a few. So she had to wait for it
I ordered a calzone — sausage/​mushroom. I was brought mushroom/​canadian bacon, Ok so I was told that the cooks are use to making that kind. Um ok, so I would need to wait for the right one to be made, in 12 mins. She left the wrong one on the table. 25 mins later everyone was almost done eating and I was still waiting. She said it will be out soon, I told her no that is fine, just give us our check and some boxes.
The waitress brought the new calzone out in a box and the check. I got home and opened the calzon STILL WRONG — this time it just had canadian bacon.
Seriously done with this place

I’ll start with the cleanliness of this establishment… You can tell this place has not had a proper cleaning this decade just from walking in the front door. The table was sticky even after being wiped down. Bathrooms were terrible and I still did not feel clean after I washed my hands.
The food was spectacularly sub par. It literally tasted like they use pre made frozen dough anyone can buy from the grocery store. Pepperoni quality was horrendous.
Ordered a few beers and they arrived in heavy clunky iced tea glasses. This is a first for any restaurant I’ve been too. The beer was less than refreshing, as it was pretty warm and lost all chill after only about 2 minutes.
Now onto the service… We walk in and get told that there is about a 20 minute wait. I can clearly see that there are numerous booths and tables open. As waitress after waitress walks past, we still have yet to be sat.
To be blunt, we will not be repeat customers. Nor will I suggest this business to friends or family.
Romanos has a lot to improve upon before they become a quality restaurant. Might want to start with the food quality.

This is my «go-​to» local sports bar. It is in a very convenient location and is a super comfortable place to hang-​out, grab good food, and catch some local sports. I like this Romano’s (there are two in Riverside) because of its laid back atmosphere, and unpretentious clientele.
The bar staff is very attentive and friendly which makes hanging out a very comfortable experience. The wait staff on the restaurant side of the house is super helpful and accommodating. All of the above make the dining and drinking experience worthwhile.
The food is good. I love their sissy margarita thin crust pizza which is pretty tasty and not too overwhelming with garlic or tomatoes. I’ve also tried their pasta dishes which are cooked appropriately without too much grease or excessive sauce. They also make a very good garden salad which I tend to order every time I visit. All the portions are well sized and you will never leave hungry.
Give Romano’s a try the next time you don’t feel like cooking and are looking for a dining diversion.

The Ladies Bathroom DISGUSTING. Midlewey icky corners and dirty sink area. Bad first impression. Came for the supposed Chicago Pizza. Which was All Wrong and wayy over-​thought.. Let me start with the crust. Again, a yest risen crust which got much to thick and puffy on the sides of the pan, like Sicilian crust spread thinner into the bottom of the pan. No butter crust. Very Unchicagoan. Uses Shreeded cheese blend of three cheeses. Wrong. Fresh slices of mozzarella is all that is required. We ordered All mushroom and basil, half pepperoni. Tons of basil almost overwhelming including the stems (icky to bite into) and barely any mushrooms. The pepperoni was ample. Finally the sauce, it was pizza sauce and wayyyy too much of it. The problem is they called this «stuffed» pizza, which Chicago Pizza is not ‘stuffed’ but a pizza pie. Its supposed to have just a sprinkling of crushed tomatoe on top perhaps lightly seasoned but certainly not pizza sauce on top.
I give him 3 stars for the amount of TV’s and for trying but please do not boast that this is Chicago pizza because it is not. By the time I got it home the entire bottom of the box was soggy from them overthinking the whole pizza. Too much cheese, too much sauce and the wrong crust. And please clean up your bathroom. The biggest turn off in a restuarnt is dirty bathrooms. makes me wonder what the kitchen looked like.

Andrew and Brian our bartender for as long as in been coming here, and also our cocktail waitress patty for as long as I can remember has ALWAYS provided great service and makes great drinks. All around great bar!
