I’m not sure what happened, this place used to be amazing and now it is subpar at best. Pizzas have gotten smaller, which is really bad considering the already higher than average prices, so that now it really isn’t worth paying that much for. This used to be our family’s favorite pizza place, but now we may only be able to afford it as the occasional date night since the pizzas are so much smaller, we have to buy more of them to feed us all.

I had been here once before and I remember thinking. geeezz this place is pricey! I thought to myself, this place better taste like heaven for what we paid. I also remember that it didn’t, and that we had decided to not ever go back there. Well, it had been a while and we were looking to change it up, so we decided to give it another chance. Sure enough, still very pricey. $ 8.95 for a personal pepperoni pizza. We also ordered boneless hot wings and decided to share both. A soda and a water and $ 22 dollars and some change later. For 2 drinks, a personal sized pizza and some wings.(PRICEY). But this time, I did feel like I enjoyed the taste of the pizza more. The reason I gave this place 4 stars is mostly because the boneless hot wings were THEBEST boneless hot wings I have ever had anywhere in my entire life. They also do serve you a generous amount. The wings alone will definitely have me coming back. Do I recommend this place? .I’m not so sure. If you are specifically looking for some good wings? Then yes, I definitely do. This place is kind of a see for yourself, hit or miss. I will probably go back in the near future and try something else, along side my new favorite hot wings.

Tried this place for the first time and i would give this place a solid 2 -.5 for girl answering phone being rude when i called in. -.5 for the order taking an hour to deliver(when competing with Pizza Hut who usually delivers just over 30 minutes… fail) –1 for bland crust and lack luster sauce. –1 for being $ 27 for two mini pizza’s. I haven’t tried their panini’s, but whatever, not much desire to try again.

I’ve been here twice for their gluten free panini. The vegetables are delicious and grilled perfectly, and the sauce is delicious. I have Celiac disease so they highly recommended to me not to eat their freshly made potato chips or their french fries as they are fried in the same oil as their other gluten containing foods. I really appreciated them telling me that up front. So instead, I ordered a small side salad that came with rich dark greens and a tasty balsamic vinegar.

Not worth the price. Pizza was mediocre & took a long time to come out. The crust reminded me of a school lunch pizza & the garlic butter sauce didn’t taste like garlic.

Ordered a pizza here and waited 45 min for a cold pizza, employees here seem to be goofing off and not to worried about the customers or the customers complains. Will not be returning ever again, don’t waste your time and money just go to Pizza Hut or dominos instead . My family loves the whole romonos food chains but this one is lacking professional management and employes need to take there job serious . Sorry but canyon crust is forever off one of my places to go.

The quality has always been wildly inconsistent here. They must have a high turnover of pizza makers and no effective training system to ensure each pizza has the same composition every time it is made. In the past it was just a matter of oddly shaped pizzas with varying ratios of ingredients and an occasional stale flat crust. Tonight was a different story. The meat on the pizza so rancid it was bitter and the crust was flat and dry. Worst were the fresh produce toppings added after the pizza was cooked. The diced avocado had patches of brown rot and was riddled with worm holes. The shredded lettuce was similarly spoiled, with brown rotten leaves adding a certain je né sais quoi to the medley of flavors. And, perhaps in an effort to hide the whole mess, a liberal dousing of ranch dressing pooled in deep unsavory puddles across the surface. The apparent lack of quality control with respect to the integrity of the fresh ingredients is not just unappetizing, it’s scary.

Poor customer service and over charged pizza for the quality. I ordered a personalized pizza with garlic butter and marinara sauce, zucchini and artichoke, usually a great combo but not here, sauce lacked flavor. Great location though, right next to splash area for lil ones to play and across from Starbucks. Tip: the flatbread pizzas at extreme pita are much tastier.

Yummy pizza, Canyon Crust is the local favorite! Indoor or outdoor seating… awesome staff and that creates a fun family friendly environment

I came in around lunchtime and have always wanted to try this place so I ordered the white pizza and added chicken. The pizza was just OK. It was a personal size pizza and in total including a drink cost almost $ 15. For $ 15 I would expect my pizza to taste amazing for a personal pizza. That of course was not the case. It was extremely garlicky and I love garlic so that tells you something. Also the chicken that was added didn’t seem like great quality chicken. It was very rubbery. It was just a disappointment to come here and get it OK pizza I didn’t even finish it I gave the rest to my husband who also loves garlic and thought it was too garlicky.

In the past I would have given this place a 4 or 5 star rating. In spite of the fact that their pizza is a bit more expensive. However last night my husband brought home a meal and my pizza was burnt, black. I will think twice about eating here.

Canyon Crust ! I was expecting a little better since they named the place after the plaza. I’ve been here once before and that experience was subpar & mediocre. I got a Sicilian Panini last time and it was just overkill for me. The portions are big but you definitely have to pay for the big portions. And the proportions were off. Just too much meat … #meatonmeatonmeat It was $ 9 – 10 for a sandwich & chips on the side with no drink. This time, came with a friend, and I ordered a Ceasar Panini. Honestly, it was good but it wasn’t great. definitely one of the better sandwiches but still not comparable to the price I was paying :(… Still $ 9ish after tax. The BBQ flat bread that my friend ordered was good though. I ordered a side of baguette but got chips instead… The chips are my least favorite so I was hoping to substitute it for bread but I guess they misunderstood … The restaurant itself is hot … A little musty too. It kind of feels gross when it’s a hot, humid day and you’re hoping for a cool environment when you’re eating Parking is okay. It definitely depends what day and time you come. Sometimes it’s way overpacked and takes you 20 minutes to find parking(usually during the school year) or there’s plenty of parking.

And how it got four stars I have no idea. I will give it to because the food tasted OK. I got a lunch special with salad drink and a slice of pizza for about $ 6.50. I’ve had worse meals. The pizza had a little bit of flavor, A decent amount of cheese and a couple slices of pepperoni. As far as dining experience there was none. I will provide some pictures of the«ambience». While not Taco Bell this is definitely not gourmet but bore mé.

Quality is subpar. My pizza was not cut. I was given the wrong dressing with my salad. 15 $ for a hack job. I had the basil, tomato pizza– basil was non-existent and cheese was over cooked. I have had a panini which was good, but I won’t be ordering this pizza again.

Went in with high expectations, and sadly was disappointed. Pretty vast menu and I was pretty excited for my meal and my favorite soda machine. Well to start, it’s a little expensive. Paid $ 25 for a panini and a 10″ pizza. I ordered my food at 5:20. About 4 people arrived after me, ordered and received their food before us. About 25 minutes pass and I ask about our food. She said it got mixed up with to go orders and they forgot about it. A little heads up would have been nice. Once I received the food it was cold, and simply just okay. Would not return.

I think I went to this place with a lot of expectations! A couple of my friends enjoyed it, however my experience was the opposite. The customer service is great, however it pales in comparison to the food. I had the bbq chicken panini. Not a big fan because the presentation and taste was sub par. the bread was just like eating plain dough, the chicken was dry, the bbq sauce kinda sour and the Gouda was not melted. It looked like the cook didn’t put any effort into the panini because there wasn’t much chicken, a bunch of sauce and the Gouda cheese was still in the shredded form. I’m not a chef but I know how melted and fresh Gouda cheese could make any panini taste amazing. Pretty disappointed with the quality of food, but it’s friendly cashier was the only reason for three stars!

the pizza is just typical bread flower and the Crust is devoid of appeal. 12.00 for a 10 inch pizza? Folks this thing should be amazing and quality My pizza was overcooked and chewy. My family of 2and 2small kids was 30.00 and I am still hungry. I got the 1.99 side salad. Probably the best thing I ate. Fresh and yummy. but its a side salad. :p.

I tried the shrimp scampi pizza, artichoke spinach dip pizza, and sweet potato fries for about $ 30. The pizzas were creative, but they were ok. I think I was really full on the sweet potato fries to be honest. The girl behind the counter was really friendly and helpful. She was wearing a different restaurant’s t-shirt though… All in all, it’s a good gourmet pizza place if that’s what you’re in the mood for.

I came here for lunch today. Its a small little place located in Canyon Crest. I came here because my coworker said they make a mean flat bread panini. she was right. I ordered the roasted turkey panini with fries. The panini had a herb crust and it came with garlic aoili. It was a huge panini. The fries were ok. And they had that soda machine with an infinite amount of combos. Service was very good. they kept checking up on me and it isnt even a waiter serviced place. I will def keep on coming back!
