The food was average and the service was terrible. Waited 10 to 15 minutes to get on a ride. Very disappointed with this experience.

It was nice and quiet on Tuesday afternoon. The downside was not a great selection of fresh food, having to wait 10 minutes or more for rides and slow staff. The upside was a clean restaurant. We did not utilize their party rooms this time although I have in the past and it was a very nice experience.

Great place for kids birthday parties. The buffet area was well maintained, food was consistently stocked, and areas were cleaned regulary. Food is basic, with all you need to please kids. The crew that helped us with the party were super enthusiastic, never fussed and had a couple great activities for the little ones. I’ve been to other John’s locations that weren’t that great, as comparison this place is pretty good!

The food is not worth the money but it’s good. They have a large variety of pizza and pasta. The salad bar is pretty good and they have many dressings available. My favorite was the nacho pizza and veggie :) I also like how they have different seating areas with different themes! The games are probably the best part and it’s easier to get tickets than at chuck e cheese! I was able to get 1500 to get a lava lamp!!:) one thing though, the people who go are fucking disgusting and don’t take care of their children. There’s kids all over the food area waddling around and the parents aren’t around them helping them get food. People leave their drinks in the bathroom and drop ice cream on the machine on purpose, and leave cups in the games area where it CLEARLY says no food or drinks allowed! I don’t blame the workers because I see them constantly running around cleaning. TAKECAREOFYOURKIDSPEOPLE.

Went here today with family. The place was beyond disgusting. Dirty. The restroom stunk so bad I could smell it before I even opened the door. It seems like they never cleaned anything the whole time we were there.

Great place to treat your kids. They do great birthday parties too. The food is tasty, but sometimes the machines break down.

I’ve been here a couple times and haven’t had any problems, staff is kind and friendly, food is tasty, price is fair, blah blah blah. The only thing I noticed was the amount of games that were out of order, I know you can’t stop a game from breaking but no mechanics that can fix it? And they didn’t seem to clean too often but for all the games they have it’s understandable. All in all I would recommend this place to anyone with kids, they’ll have a blast.

I’ve been coming to John’s Incredible Pizza for years and have always come away with a great experience. Since today was going to be a blast furnace outside, I chose to take the kiddo here for her birthday. Yes, it’s a buffet and they have a ton of options. Salads, pastas, soups, fried chicken, baked potato station and of course the pizza. As many others have pointed out, the food here is not exactly world class but they have a lot of choices for all kinds of eaters. Nacho cheese pizza? Yes. BBQ pizza? Spicy peanut butter pizza? YES??? They’re constantly churning out pizzas so even if something is gone, give it a few minutes and it’ll be back. Staff is very friendly and promptly remove your dirty dishes & silverware. The themed rooms are pretty cool & cater to different moods or likes. The games/rides section is quite large and mostly everything works. I ran into problems with the light gun games. Many times one light gun would work, but the other one would not. The rides are mostly for the kids with the exceptions being the Twister & bumper cars. I highly recommend signing up for the VIP card. I had a coupon giving the kiddo an hours worth of rides and we hit up almost everything with it. I had to use my paid fun card to do the stuff with her like the bumper cards but not a big deal. The downside of this place is that it gets very crowded so you’ll run into either rude people or others that don’t watch their children at all. The latter is one of my pet peeves. That said, I’d certainly recommend John’s over a certain similar establishment. Better food(IMO), better games.

We call this place«John’s Inedible Pizza» that being said, we don’t come here for the food. The pizza is pretty basic, lots of crust and not anything exciting. All the employees in this area are super workers and very accommodating. It is a bummer that you have to purchase a buffet as a lot of people, myself included are on specialized diets. I feel the arcade is a better value than the Dave and Busters in Rancho Mirage. Most games were 2 credits, however my kid is obsessed with the bowling which costs 6 credits, so 1.50 per game. Way ridiculous! There are no bumpers option and 2 lanes were broken. Once I diverted him to play some games, probably 50% of them were broken(in the back half). Overall, I don’t mind killing an hour or two here.

I don’t know if there is something infused in the air here to have made me more lenient towards this establishment or if my bias towards to this place stems from the fact that they are playing Living On A Prayer through their sound system right now, regardless if you’re the parent of a child, I recommend this place over Chuck E Cheese. I am a not a parent so I cannot entirely fathom how parents can take their kids to these places regularly, however, I think that John’s really allowed me to stomach the child gaming experience a lot better than Chuck E Cheese. It is so much cleaner and there is more breathing room. The employees in the various dining areas are constantly cleaning and the kitchen employees are eager to please. They also have free wifi for those needing to get away from all the kiddie madness; ask an employee for the password. Most importantly, there is no sign of any annoying and creepy animatronic singing to me while I eat my pizza and ask myself what did I do in my past life to warrant me to being there suffering in such a cruel manner. I took my nieces here and they absolutely love it. There is a surprising amount of rides in this place and considering we live in So Cal where the temperature is the same as the one in hell basically everyday in the summer that means this place wins over Castle Park on a hot day. However when it comes to the games, I think the ticket prices for the prizes are absolutely absurd. The food is definitely nothing out of this world but you get what you pay for. There is a room where they play sports on TV and not Disney Channel or some other child oriented TV channel. They also sell overpriced alcohol to anyone looking to numb the pain of having to follow your child around this establishment while they are filled with endless amounts of energy. I opted for what they call their«coffee», it tastes mostly like hot water but whatever. Lastly, if you just can’t take it anymore, there is a Hooters right next door; strategic planning on their part. Note: I am not a parent but a college student with a small amount of patience.

I do like bringing my kids here because they love it! Of course they love it though… its filled with pizza, games, and they don’t have to pay lol. I do bring them every here and there. Not a ton though because I can’t deal with it that often. I think they’re a bit pricey, but that’s to be expected. I dislike the long lines and crazy amount of unsupervised children that run around. Of course, I really can’t rate this joint based on that alone because all places that cater to kids are like this. Anyways, their buffet is ok. It has a pretty good selection.

Often described as a Chuck E. Cheese on steroids, John’s Incredible Pizza is so much more than that. There really is something for everyone here– really good food with a wide selection, friendly staff, various themed rooms that are clean and taken care of, games that work, a pretty good prize/redemption area and a loyalty program. The line getting into John’s is almost always long, so please be patient. You are checked in by the number in your party, age of children for the buffet and if anyone wants to buy game and/or ride credits. You can always pay cash for the games but having the Fun Card is like a debit card that also keeps track of tickets won at the various games. Smarter than having kids walk around with a handful or a pocketful of money and tickets that they have to keep track of. Package prices are about the same but the deals is the ride tickets. There are several rides including a small roller coaster, bumper cars and a couple of others. You can use(game) credits on them but it’s smarter to use the ride tickets with packages. Games are clean and well maintained and food and drinks are NOTALLOWED in the gaming area. There is also several claw machines and a mini bowling alley. Picking where to sit makes a huge difference in your overall experience at John’s. Generally you do not need to make reservations unless you specifically want one of the private party rooms next to the game area where you can keep your family and friends, presents, cake and ice cream all together. There are several«themed» rooms where there are large screen TVs in most of the rooms. The Hall of Fame room has multiple TVs and they have live sports so you won’t miss the game if it’s on while you’re there. Several other rooms have anything playing from Star Wars Rebels to Sophia The First and Sponge Bob to Mickey Mouse Clubhouse to keep the kiddies occupied while dining. Rooms are well lit and you can keep track of the little ones and what they’re doing(although not all guests tend to do so). These rooms all can be reserved and rented out in their entirety for company events, school functions or very large private gathering. As for the food, everything is fresh from the salad bar, pizzas, pastas and deserts. The salad bar is pretty decent. It may not be Sizzler or Marie Calendars but it certainly trumps any pizza place that I have ever been to that has video games as an attraction. There are nearly two dozen types of pizzas available and if the one is not there, it can be made on request. While the standard cheese pizza and pepperoni pizzas are readily available, John’s has their own specialty pies that you have to try such as the taco, chili cheese, buffalo chicken, barbecue chicken, cheeseburger and peanut pizza to name a few. A pizzas are large sized, medium crust and self served by the slice. There is a soup bar consisting of two different types of soups which has my favorite of a baked cheese potato soup and a soup of the day. There is a mix and match pasta bar where you can select various types of pasta along with a half dozen types of sauces to match your mood. Last but certainly not least of the hot foods is the potato bar. Cheese potatoes, mashed potatoes, wedges and *sigh* baked potatoes with all the fixings. Wrapped up in a tidy packet of foil is baked(not nuked) potato screaming for butter, sour cream, cheese and green onions(which is available). A couple of tips, put the potato on the plate and grab a fork. The potato is not sliced open so use the handle of the fork to cut it in half so you can add whatever fixings you desire. Next tip, the potatoes vary in their cleanliness so as a precaution, don’t eat the skin. I’ve had some that I could eat the whole thing whereas other times there was more than a hint of earthy-ness to the potato. Recently they’ve added fried chicken to the menu so there is actual pieces of meat one can sink their teeth into. Finally the desert bar of pastries, brownies, cakes, cookies and freshly made mini-donuts(that you can watch being made). A frozen yogurt machine caps the whole sweet tooth experience. Soft drinks($ 1.99 additional to the buffet) also includes the ICEE machine. Oh yeah. Even more sugar for the kiddies! There is also coffee, tea and hot chocolate available out of a hot drink dispenser and for those adults who are of legal age, there is beer and wine available by the glass(of varying sizes) with proper identification. I would never set foot into another pizza party video game establishment of my own free will other than John’s Incredible Pizza. The main dining area is(mercifully) separated from the play area and if you choose to, it can be next to or overlooking it. It is a fun and friendly place to be but please keep an eye on your kids. It’s always a joy when John(The Bear) makes an appearance. They have a cute song and little dance number to participate in if you or the kinder feel so inclined to do. Always a great time at John’s Incredible Pizza!

It’s fairly cheap for the all you can eat price. If you come late they stop making pizza unless you put in for a request. It’s get crazy packed! And well for the area it gets pretty shady sometimes. I’m talking about those kids your glad you don’t have running around breaking machines and causing trouble. If you don’t mind the occasional over crowding, broken machines and the fact that the workers absolutely hate their job type of environment come on down. Bring your undisciplined kids too they will fit right in. P.s after looking at the first couple of pictures I realized they are all staged/fake. You want to really see how it is come on down.

We always have a great time at John’s Incredible Pizza. It is about a 35 minute drive for us so we only go on holiday breaks during the school year and once or twice during Summer Break. My boys love all the pizza and especially the bottomless Slurpees. Last time we went there the boys brought a friend with a peanut allergy. The Manager actually came out and walked the buffet with me, and the friend with the allergy, to point out all the foods to avoid. I thought that was very nice of him to take the time to do that. I highly recommend the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The doughnuts fresh out of the fryer are the best too!!!

As always, Johns Incredible Pizza delivers. I don’t come here more often because I just can’t afford the calories lol. But the the food is great, the kids always have a great time and it’s NOT Chucky Cheeses! I wish there was a way to come in just for the games someone’s, but I guess that keeps people from trashing it completely. I am a returning customer again and again. Keep up the Good work guys!

Yeah! INCREDIBLY long lines and slow service at lunch time! It has gotten worse in the past year. My son’s class came here recently(5th grade graduation field trip). We got in right away since it was planned ahead of time. However, if you don’t come here with a group, do not expect to get in anytime soon. It’s like waiting to get into a popular nightclub, but the fact that you’re about to starve makes it worse. Better yet, how bout’ telling the kids to be THAT patient! Pros: ~There’s a HUGE game room with full-size carnival rides. Some people say that this is Chuck E. Cheese on crack and/or steroids. I just think it’s a Chuck E. Cheese with over the top ADHD issues. ~there’s plenty of stuff for the young ones, including an enclosed toddler play area with gate. So if you have an ESCAPEE type of kid(my son used to be one of those) then you are in luck! ~mini-bowling with no heavy balls to drag your a** down(perfect for my son). ~there are several big rooms to dine in. That way if you see obnoxious people tearing down the place in one room, you can easily move to the next! Cons: ~careless mothers who let their kids run away with my son’s bowling balls(that I actually paid for) because they are being cheapskates with their own kids! ~You are required to purchase a buffet EACHTIME you come in. It’s the only way to get your game on. Seriously, you can’t use their game room without paying for food. My son has about $ 5 left on his fun card, but now we have to purchase yet another buffet to use the leftover money on it. They won’t give you a refund — UGH. The only pizzas I like here are the buffalo chicken pizza and the pepperoni with sausage. Jalapeño pizza is alright. Hawaiian pizza was mediocre on this last visit. The salad is ok, soups so-so, pasta was already cold. Dessert is slightly better. Some things have gone down-hill from the last time we came here. NOTE: if you don’t see the pizza you like — go tell someone in the kitchen… they will make a new pizza by request in about 10 minutes and place it out in the buffet area. Just make sure to check back within that time frame because the vultures might pay a visit before you get a chance for a slice! I always order the buffalo chicken pizza, and by the time I go back, there will be other people sniffing around. Luckily, most people can’t figure out what type of pizza that is, so I end up taking all the slices for me and my hubby in the end! BTW, I was truly kidding about the vultures =P Everyone’s really cool here!!! =D See my previous review for this place!
