For what looks like just a convenience store, they have awesome sandwiches and pizza. Pizza is from bertollis next door. Italian sub is my favorite. Italian beef is good, although would be better if they used Gonnella Bakery bread instead of Turano bread.

Place was ok, I went on a few different days and each day the bread got worse. No matter how good the inside of a sandwich is, if the bread sucks then the samich sucks. I wont be going back for a sub anytime soon. I’ll stick to sub tender, better prices too.

Great improvement from 7-​eleven! Yet I love how nice the workers are and how fast they make delicious sandwich! It’s like a family business with an Italian market.

Great selection of Italian specialty pastas and food, a good place to get cash for the pizza place next door owned by the same people. The people who run these two places are really great. The deli is good but the subs could really be helped out with some better bread something nice and crusty. The subs are WAY better than any chain sub place but could learn something from a place like Bari in the city, maybe they didn’t think the burbs could handle crusty bread, but we can most folks in river forest are city transplants.

This place is the perfect local hang out. I get coffee in the morning, a sub for lunch and Pizza from their restaurant at night. The guys working there are great people.
