Lobby open to Nine PM most nights. Usually no or little wait in line. I miss the old Downtown Market, and I was a regular coffee drinker where my PO Box is now located.

If you live downtown this is a convenient place to go for your postal needs. I had great customer service here and not a long wait.

This is the downtown post office which replaced the one in the Art Deco building on Virginia. It has nowhere near the quirky ambiance of the old post office and is much much smaller. It is your basic, utilitarian government issue space.
The wait in line is dependent on time of day. There is usually only one person working the counter so when it gets busy you can plan on waiting quite a while. On the plus side there is a window ledge to sit on if you need it.
Every time I have been there the staff have been friendly and helpful.
It is a post office — straight forward and utilitarian.
