Rachel’s Yoga class Wednesday at noon was awesome! I’m just getting back into the swing of things and it was definitely challenging but I was able to keep up with the experienced class. She should get a raise!

When this gym was KOR I would easily give them five stars but since the change in ownership I’ve watched the gym decline. The gym is now way over sold and the new clientele have no gym etiquette whatsoever. No one racks their weights, equipment is left lying around and roided out thugs hog the equipment. I’ve worked out and worked as a fitness instructor and trainer at most of the gyms in town for over 20 years… even old school hardcore body builder gyms like Hans, Flex & Golds… they had clientele that were dialed in and were respectful. I’ll stick with a gym like DD or SWAC for now. At least I won’t have some thug get in my face for asking to share a piece of equipment.

This gym has everything you need! It’s intimate but as long as you don’t go at peek times in the day there is plenty of room for cardio, weight machines and free weights as well as classrooms on the sides for squat and abs! The locker room is large, clean and smells good.

I agree john b. its not a hardcore gym but what do you expect for $ 10? The best HARDCOREGYM in reno is AMERICANIRON! But a bit of a drive from mid-town. I do my serious lifting at Sportswest, i come here for cardio or if i’m pressed for time. A brief light workout is better than none. Good small gym, the only problem for me is the music is FREAKINGLOUD, turn it down youngsters. Look around the gym most people 85%? have their own music. I’d give 5 but the music problem…

Nice little gym in downtown. No frills but plenty of equipment and space for $ 10/mo. Upgrade to get guests access, free tanning, and free classes. I love running on the treadmill or riding a bike looking out the window at downtown. Nick the trainer is outstanding, I highly recommend buying some sessions with him to jump-start your fitness and learn proper form.

Something about urban gyms and fitness for 10 downtown easily wins my vote for best gym in Reno. Friendly personalized service, intimate enough to feel like you can own the place yet big enough to do a ton. Great selection of equipment, meticulously clean and great views from all sides on the 3rd floor of 100 N Sierra. If you’re looking for a little more from your workouts I highly suggest peak performance, specially Ashely Beeman!

I disagree with the other reviewers, after a few months you start to learn about hidden fees! It is not fitness for 10, its fitness for 20 when you ad it all up, plus the equipment is good for a sorority gym but this is not a hardcore gym, in fact, the amount of equipment is a joke, parking sucks, the owner is a cheapskate, and the bathroom smells, if you live in reno, american iron, 24 hour, and south reno athletic are all much better options, classic case of you get what you pay for, id have given it five start too my first week

This Gym is so cool to be in the heart of Down Town! The GM Lindsay is super nice and cool, even though I pick on her, and her staff are always help full. Adam is BADASS! even when he flips over to train with Zack with Peak Performance. The equipment is nice and always working, props to the Maintenance Guy! The Gym is always clean and well up kept. You got to check it out, and for the price, you can’t beat it! KEEPITUPFF10!

I was expecting the worst when I visited Fitness for 10 yesterday. As often as that building flips and becomes something else, I though there was no way they put a quality gym. They done proved me wrong. The place was clean, spread out, ample equipment and the locker room was nice too(although I didn’t take a shower-review update will hit later). I actually went so that I could check out a spinning class. That class kicked my ass! The first 10 minutes of the class I was in doubt of my abilities to make it through the hour. I have never taken a cycling class before and I, quite frankly, thought I was going to die. Lisa never pushed me harder than I could go and changed it up often enough that somehow I made it the entire time and, dare I say, am actually looking forward to my next Monday evening cycling class with her. I highly recommend both Fitness for 10 Downtown and Cycling Instructor Lisa.

I have a membership at the FF10 in Sparks and heard about them opening up in downtown Reno. Curious about the downtown Reno club, I popped in and was pleasantly surprised, classes are offered(YAY!) I did the bootcamp and I had a sufficient butt-whoopin’. I travel a lot and I have seen several of the FF10 locations, each of them are clean and have a good staff, this club is no different. Keep up the Great work– Good value. Nice equipment. Positive and supportive environment.
