I would not recommend Gragg Paving. I found the price ($ 1800 for 340 sq ft) to be well above any other guidelines I found for asphalt and it was a hassle to obtain a promised invoice/​receipt after giving him a check. Having never had asphalt work done, I naively assumed the $ 1800 would include the grading, base rock, etc., I was surprised to discover that my contractor who did the cobble pavers (quality and fair price, excellent to work with) did all the prep work for the asphalt strip. Gragg spent about two hours total laying the asphalt … not a bad days’ work for $ 1800. I did get caught in the middle not checking out the sub (Gragg) that my contractor hired but lesson learned in hindsite. What seemed like overpricing AND lack of response for a detailed invoice of the work leads me «buyer be ware.»
