Excellent customer service by very hard lonely worker :). Had my usual a small softserve cone.

This is an Orange Julius/Dairy Queen business. They are in the same space, run by the same employees. They just offer different items… juice & smoothies. Whenever we come here, I usually always order a Blizzard from the DQ Side, but today, my friend had a Buy 1-Get 1 free coupon, so I decided to go with a smoothie. I regretted this decision as soon as I tasted the smoothie. It was supposed to be a Mango Pineapple Smoothie. I’ve seen blender pitchers sitting with remnants of smoothies which weren’t all used up for previous customers. I think they just add ice to make it more of a smoothie consistency, give it a whirl, and call it good. Then your smoothie is ready… watered down and tasteless. They need to make each and every batch fresh and with a guaranteed & proven recipe. I was so disappointed and didn’t even finish it. My husband added stuff to it and gave it another whirl in our Vitamix Blender and made it decent tasting. Shoot, I have the power and ability to make a better tasting and probably a really healthy smoothie for cheaper. On top of this horrible drink, the cashier had a terrible attitude. Her demeanor was just awful and got worse when we handed her the BOGO coupon, and then I handed her my Galleria Gift Card(from my birthday)… she seemed disgruntled and showed the girl next to her. This girl needs to display an attitude appropriate for customer service. Personal problems, if they contributed to this attitude, should be left at home so they don’t affect job performance, or lack thereof. There were 2 girls and a guy on duty at the time we went. Think twice or thrice before getting a drink from this location! I recommend getting the Dairy Queen offerings! Their quality is consistently the same and good!

Ice Cream and Orange Julius are the best. And these did not disappoint. It was tasty but the service was slow. They only had one person working and the line was long but it was worth it.

A smoothie place located in the South Bay Galleria food court. The staff who was working by himself on a busy Saturday afternoon was awesome. There was a long line of people yet he was able to take orders and make smoothies while making small talk with customers with a smile on his face. He was so cool and calm. He should have some help though. We had… –Low calorie Pina Colada Smoothie — Not too sweet and the ice was smooth and not gritty. –Low calorie Strawberry and Banana Smoothie. El hubby seemed to like it. You can also buy Dairy Queen here.

Located in the South Bay Galleria on the third floor is this Orange Julius /Dairy Queen. I haven’t gotten anything from Dairy Queen, but when I come to this mall I usually get a tropical orange julius original. Did you know it’s been around since the late 1920’s? Do yourself a favor and try one if you haven’t tasted one before. Let me know what you think ;D

I remember these being way better when I was a kid. Way too much sugar. I hate to think what may happen if you give it to small children. They will get totally amped up and then crash and burn. If you are a sugar junkie, you may love it! It’s also a Dairy Queen. I am intrigued by the fact you can turn a blizzard upside down and it doesn’t move though you probably don’t want that flowing through your arteries.

This is also a Dairy Queen. Like any other Dairy Queen — it’s delicious. The staff here are friendly and patient when asked the ingredients of their fancy blizzards.

This is actually an Orange Julius/Dairy Queen. I got a blizzard, so I’ll only be reviewing the Dairy Queen part. As far as the Blizzard I got, it’s exactly what one would expect from a Dairy Queen(you go to a place like this for consistency, not because you hope to be blown away by some new creation). The reason it gets three stars instead of four(it’s ice cream, how bad can it be?), is that there isn’t really any seating right by it(you could walk to the food court, which is only about 100 feet away), but I’m lazy and they only have dessert, no burgers and fries.
