My kid and I stopped in and grabbed a couple coffees with espresso. It seems like a pretty nice place to chill.

The parking space are pretty small here and you may compete for parking spots but I never have any issues here in the morning(I’m usually here before 9am). The morning staff are super cool and friendly. They make an effort to get to know their customers and would strike up small talk. I see them remember the orders of regulars who come in. They try to go the extra mile as well. They once forgot to give me my croissant order after they made my drink and they felt bad and gave me an extra pastry for the inconvenience. They make my drink very quickly(my go to drinks here are either almond milk tea or jasmine milk tea). The boba is ok and the drinks are a little on the sweeter side. There’s plenty of clean seating space in the morning and a tv to watch in case you don’t feel like people watching. The leather couch here is comfy. This is a chill place and I like to stop here when I’m craving milk tea and/or boba.

Just used the free #boba code for Postmates where 2 boba drinks(Jasmine and regular) were delivered. Props to giving away free boba. But honestly this was some of the worst boba I’ve ever had. the drink was bland, barely sweet enough and the boba itself had no sweetness to it. given all the honey boba places today, you’d think they’d try. nope, they don’t try. they don’t try to make a boba drink. it’s below mediocre. we tossed them both in the garbage 90% full

Really cute place, but so far… haven’t had anything good. The drinks lack flavor(AKA tastes like water), and the boba also tastes like… Nothing.

I really do love neighborhood coffee joints like Bobaloca. The atmosphere is lighter, brighter and so much easier. I was able to take my time and read the entire menu — they have a lot to choose from! I really wanted a coffee drink since I had a raging headache from caffeine withdrawal. The girl behind the counter even brought me a list of the blended fun drinks with the amount of pumps per drink and what type of syrup. I finally went with the Carmelot, pumps of caramel and chocolate with a shot of espresso — YUM! So yummy, and for a regular size, it came out to $ 4. Again, they were all very friendly and now that I know they serve delicious beverages, I will be coming back!

Very clean and really cool setting. Had a taro boba tea that was made incredibly fast! I watched them make it and saw that they mixed the milk and powder quite diligently, but there were still some small chunks of unmixed powder in my drink. Nothing a quick stir couldn’t fix, still delicious! Will come back when I’m in the area.

We Love Bobaloca. Great coffee/espresso, tea, smoothies, milkshakes and other interesting and unique beverages. Not a Boba fan but you don’t have to be to enjoy Bobaloca. The staff are super friendly and there are lots of regulars they remember by name or their order. I love that it is small, not a corporate chain and the staff seem to really enjoys their jobs and take pride in their work. If you’re there and you’re hungry, be sure to order something from Madame Tomate — fresh, yummy sandwiches and salads with a «European» flair. We are so glad we stumbled across Bobaloca a few months ago and now it is our go-to place for coffees and more…

I try to not be biased but flattery works every time. The people here are so nice… as in, thank you for the compliment, you kinda made my morning nice. I have passed this coffee, tea, and juice place maybe 1,000x on my way to work or wherever between the Beach Cities. I’ve never stopped in. I usually go to a coffee shop just past my work that is a little bit out of the way, and I sacrifice the extra 10 – 15 minutes. Today, I was taking my sweet time, and I wanted to try Bobaloca, and I am glad I did. — I got a Matcha Green Tea Latte, with Almond Milk as I am exploring drinking less coffee. It was tasty, velvety, and the almond milk was the right temp. — As I said, the staff were chatty, friendly, super-nice, and the nice lady that helped me explained how this is a «family» place and they get to know their customers.(Nice touch). — Prices were lower than expected(and about a dollar cheaper than my other coffee place). — There’s food and juice options there too, but I didn’t try any of that yet. — Quiet little strip of professional offices along Aviation with ample parking and quick access to Northbound Aviation Blvd. I’ll definitely be back for more! ENJOY!

Good spot that is never super busy if you’re craving boba. It’s really close to my house so I always stop in when I need some boba. Good service and not really anything negative to say. Their sandwiches also look really good.

Finally a nice boba place !!! It’s clean ! Cozy ! The staff is amazing !! If you don’t know what to order, ask Anyssia(I hope I am spelling it right ;)) She was really helpful. I didn’t have time to taste everything but the croissants look really good. I can’t get enough of there tapioca milk tea.

Bobaloca is located off of Aviation Blvd and 2nd street in a tiny plaza. There is parking available outside and the interior is clean and neat. The staff was also very nice and the prices are fair for their sizes. I didn’t give this Boba place 5 stars because I personally didn’t like their mango with peach drink with boba. I wanted a sweet drink with boba and thought I found the perfect place but I was wrong. First of all, Mango and peach sound like they go good together but not here. I have tried their Thai Milk Tea with boba and it’s decent but not the best I’ve had. I’m sort of a sweet-tooth so I was kinda hoping for sweet good boba. I’ll have to try it again some other day or maybe a different drink.

I’m happy bobaloca exists because growing up in the area, I’d take any boba nearby. I would say it’s just ok, kinda like mall quality boba. Nothing amazingly good or bad about it, but will satisfy a boba craving. The boba is usually a little harder than other places. It does have a nice seating area with couches. Great to pick up if you’re getting a haircut or your nails done in that little mall it’s in.

This is the closest boba place to my work, so when I feel like having boba for lunch, this is where I go. I usually stick with the Milk Tea with boba and it’s decent. The actual drink taste like your typical milk tea would taste, but I do agree with the other reviews saying that the boba could be sweeter. They also have a large selection of coffee drinks, so if that’s what you’re into, they have plenty of options for you. They also recently changed up their look for the better; they replaced the old couches and pretty much got all new furniture. Overall, this place is good enough to keep coming back to… until another option comes along.

JASMINEMILKTEA: finally! a place that makes milk tea that is not overly sweet. Refreshing, easy on the ice, and perfect tea flavor. Coming back!

This place would get better reviews(and more of my business) if they would SWEETENTHEIRBOBA! Just cooking boba and not soaking it in simple syrup or honey syrup gives you tasteless, chewy tapioca. I don’t know what happened to this place. It used to be fine — the boba had flavor. The staffers have always been nice and the atmosphere has always been pleasant. The food is pretty good! I can’t speak to the wi-if connectivity. But if your name is Bobaloca, your boba better be up to snuff! So, sorry to say, they won’t get more of my business until they fix the tasteless boba.

When I was in MB, this was the closest spot to get a Boba, so my daughter and I would head here whenever we needed a fix. Parking: The lot is tiny and spots are tight; thus, I hated parking here in my SUV. The lot is shared with several other businesses, too. Crowds: Try to avoid this place when school gets out because the line can get long when that happens. Also, many teens use this place to study, so there usually wasn’t a place to sit. Typically, I was in a hurry, so I would get my order to go. Food? After a certain time, they mark down their pastries, so thats a good deal(but I personally didn’t find any pastries I really liked to recommend). BUT, I did like the Boba. This is what I was here for, The Almond Milk Tea Boba. I tried other flavors, but they didn’t stand out.

This Bobaloca is not my favorite. I frequent this location based on convenience as it is on the way to my work. For starters, parking is a nightmare. They share their lot with a few other businesses and its very difficult to navigate. The spots are so close together and I always worry that I might get hit. So sometimes, if the parking lot looks too full, I’ll keep driving despite my craving for tapioca milk tea. As for the inside of the restaurant, its usually pretty clean. They are almost always mopping the floor when I come by, which is good because I hate walking into places like these and getting my sandals stuck to the floor from messy drinks. I definitely have to say that the chairs they have near the entrance need to be replaced or reupholstered because they have black and brown stains all over them. I would never sit in them, ew! My milk tea is always tasty, but the wait is usually pretty long. I don’t know why, but the staff here are very«at their own pace.» I’ve actually waited almost 15 minutes for my drink when I was the only one there. So, I say again, this Bobaloca is not my favorite.

Cute little boba place that serves good quality tea. I can attest to this because I found pieces of tea leaves while sipping on my Jasmine milk tea the other day. You won’t find sugary, packaged or powdered anything here. They use good quality ingredients. The Almond Milk Tea was pretty good, Coconut Milk Tea was okay but my absolute favorite so far has been the Jasmine Milk Tea. I don’t like boba so I normally get some jellies. I like the mango jelly the best… wasn’t too crazy about the rainbow jelly. The best part about coming here is their Happy Hour specials every Monday-Tuesday from 4−6pm. I got two drinks for the price of one. These guys are normally good with substituting the jellys for the boba. But there was one time, this Asian guy charged me $.75 extra for the jelly. There is plenty of storefront parking in the lot.
