Love this place. Local hangout. Great service. We love to stop by and say hi to our favorite server Cherice. She always makes us feel welcome. Love the green and red salsas and chips that you can serve yourself while waiting for your food and drinks. The beer is cold and the service is warm. The tacos (carnitas, steak and chicken) with condiments are delish!

Decent place to watch a game. I appreciate that it is a lot more family friendly than a lot of places in town to watch the game. Came with my wife and baby and didn’t have any problems at all. Food was good. We just ordered tacos so I can’t speak a lot about the menu. AYCE chips and salsa is a nice touch. Lots of TVs and the wait staff is overall pretty friendly and nice.

This place is great for games! Lots of tvs, people and just a good atmosphere. It’s also good for children bc they have an arcade.
Jenni and Cassandra are great! They are very attentive and great at knowing what we want at the right time.
The food here is good and reasonably priced .and the taco deal 10 for 10 is an great deal!
We will definitely be coming back ! Love it here !

My son came home on leave, he & my younger son said let give it another shot. Surprise, surprise it sucks worse than two years ago! Hardly any customers, an hour for a couple of $ 1.50 tacos. Waited 20 minutes for waitress to come over, then magically two women appeared. Tacos had two tiny pieces of steak per taco. Then we waited another 15 minutes for our waitress to bring our check, she came over, no check, asked if we wanted fried ice cream, we said «No, just the check please.» Another ten minutes… I went to the bar and asked for the check again. She asked if I wanted fried ice cream again! Dammit, I’m friggin’ living the Ground Hog Day movie! Finally got the check, $ 26 for minuscule tacos and flat soda!!! Sprinted for the door!!! Will stick with Huichos or Taco Shack from now on!

I like the street tacos, but the service here has never been good, even when the place is not packed. The kids have fun playing the games, which helps because getting in and out quickly is impossible. It seems like a great place for drinking and watching the game. There is a salsa bar, which is pretty tasty. I’d recommend this place if you want to spend some time there and catch up with friends. Even at that, I’d like my water to be refilled without me asking repeatedly.

I’m here at Johnny’s and It’s a great place to watch sports with many TVs and a good beer selection. I also like their food selection that includes tacos, pizza, calzones, and bar food that’s tasty. It’s a plus to be able to bring kids along where they can play in the arcade while you enjoy yourself. They only downer is that the beer is pricey.

Johnny’s has good food and great taco specials for Unilocalers. It’s fun place with neighborhood feel that is spread out inside if its too noisy in the room you are in. The taco specials are awesome. Pitchers of Pacifico and plates of street tacos make for a fun outing. A free delicious salsa and chip bar was a nice discovery. I would imagine this place is super busy during football. The night I was there we had a playful bartender and some construction guys chanting; shots, shots, shots! Everything you could every want in your local watering hole.

Gave this place another try just because I had to for a birthday dinner. Nothing changed since our last visit. It took atleast 30 min just to get our food & it was ice cold. Sent some tacos back & they were nuked in the microwave for way too long. The meat shrunk to half its size. When they brought it back out the waiter just gave us a dirty look with no apologies. Some food orders were forgotten about just like last time. We ordered a beer and never got it. I was really hoping this place had changed but it may have just gotten worse. Should not be proud to have 3 out of 5 Unilocalers give good ratings (which is what is on the back of the staffs shirts) Aim higher!

One of my favorite places is Redlands. I have been enjoying the food here for several years. They make a great dinner salad that is the perfect size and balance of greens. Items that I have enjoyed include the Hot Wings, Burrito, Calzone, Pastrami Sandwich and my favorite guilty pleasure is the Asada Fries. The street tacos are also very tasty with meats that include steak, pork, pastor, chicken and shrimp. The sports bar section has a vast array of televisions that are always playing the latest sports action. The front room is very kid friendly and they have a special menu for the kids.

Johnny’s used to be one of my all time favorite hangouts. Good food, good beer, great people… These days, they are sooooo slow! The people are still great and the food is good but when you have to wait 45 minutes for street tacos– wtf? It has been a while since we’ve been there because of this and we went back thinking that possibly things had changed. Nope. Not at all…
So my advice is: unless you want to watch the game and get drunk and you don’t care how long it takes go for it — it’s a great place. But if you want quick lunch and not have to be there for an hour for two hours forget about it. We won’t be back.
