The food is good, that’s why the two stars. BUT, They are really bad at getting your order right, A LOT! And when you’re dealing with food allergies, it’s no bueno!

Came here because I went to Hangar 24 and wanted a quick bite to eat. When I arrived it was empty inside and the man at the front was very polite and helpful. Good beer selection, great pizza, good atmosphere. The pizza had great crispy crust and was well cooked, good amount of toppings, and nice cold beer. I would definitely come here again, and order togo at Hangar.

SECONDARYUPDATE:(Tuesday, December 8th, 2015) I was just looking through their pizza website and it shows an area for coupons, the largest coupon it showed was for $ 4.00…That’s what they offered me for the inconvenience and inconsiderate treatment my family and I received the evening before. UNREAL!!! SAD!!! ANDPATHETIC!!! UPDATE: NEXTBUSINESSDAY!(Tuesday, December 8th, 2015) After receiving the treatment my family and I did last night, I followed up with a phone call to the business/restaurant and asked for a manager and/or the owner. The employee, «Rick,» asked me what the problem was and if he could help. I quickly explained what occurred the evening before and again asked to speak to the manager/owner. «Rick» said, We’ll I’m kind’a one of the other managers and said he could help me. So I explained in more detail what occurred the evening before(explained below in INITIALREVIEW). «Rick» said, «Well, sorry to hear that but we use a third party online ordering service and sometimes orders are delayed because of it. We’re kind of busy right now, can I call you back later and see what we can do for you to make up for what happened last night?» I felt like I didn’t have much of a choice at that moment and agreed for a «call back.» About 45 minutes to an hour later, «Rick» called back stating he could make my order from l a st night and give me a $ 4.00 discount for my inconvenience from the night before. «Rick» also through in stating that a $ 4.00 discount was the highest discount they could offer. I was shocked at the pathetic offer. Wow!!! As our conversation continued, «Rick» added, maybe the boss will wave the $ 2.00 delivery fee too, but we’ll see and placed me on hold to ask. After returning to the phone, «Rick» said, «The boss hestantly waved the $ 2.00 delivery fee, plus the $ 4.00 .» Anyway, thought everyone should know how this place handles business and«FORSURE» my family and I will NEVER conduct business with them again. What a JOKE!!! I NEVER write/submit reviews, but this place is ridiculous! INITIALREVIEW/COMPLAINT:(Monday, December 7th, 2015) I used their online order service at 8:26PM, ordering a medium pizza and small Greek salad. I received a CONFIRMATIONCODE/NUMBER, via an E-Mail. The E-Mail stated that the restaurant had received my order and they were in the process of making my food. At 8:45PM, I received a phone call from a «UNPROFESSIONAL» employee with VERYLITTLEPHONEEDICT. The male employee asked me if I had faxed an order«just now»(keep in mind, it was now 20 minutes later). He continued to say my boss asked me to call you stating that they close at 9PM and that meant they were closing in fifteen(15) minutes. I replied, «Okay, I understand, but I received a confirmation code and it has already been 20 minutes. The company E-Mail read that my food order was already being processed and that I will be receiving my delivery in 30 to 45 minutes. The male employee then replied telling me, «well, let me run it by the boss again and see if we can make your food before we close and have it delivered, either way, I’ll call you back with a decision. We’ll see what he says.» I said to the young man, «Well I hope I get my food, I have a confirmation number and it has already been 20 minutes. «The young man said«Ah, yes, I know. I’ll call you back shortly.» We then disconnected, concluding our phone call. I NEVERHEARDBACKFROMHIM!!! So finally around 9:15PM, I tried calling the restaurant back and the phone just rang repeatedly, NOANSWER! Talk about TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! SODISAPPOINTED!!! I’LLNEVERCONDUCTBUSINESSATTHISRESTAURANTEVERAGAIN!

Great place to have a quality pizza. The environment is welcoming, there’s a game area for the kids, hanger brew on tap. I suggest the lunch special.

I don’t think this place is expensive at all, but I do only go during the week. Food is good and the people are nice.

Tried this place for the first time today, but definitely wont return. Pizza was just average and had soggy crust. $ 60 for 2 pizzas and wings that were very dry is definitely not a good deal. Unilocal shows that they deliver but that is not true. Oh well, you live you learn.

I called in my order a bit before closing time. They said it would be done in 15 minutes and it was! I ordered some chicken wings and a medium pizza with two toppings. My total was less than $ 20. For a medium pizza and some really bomb chicken wings that are less than $ 1 a piece, this place is definitely worth it to me. Their wings are better and less expensive than buffalo wild wings. They are tasty and hearty! The pizza was wonderful. It’s honestly one of the more better places in town in terms of taste. The crust is thin and crispy and you can tell that a lot of thought and effort is put into their food. They are family owned and everyone there was friendly too. The only downside to this was the transient hanging around outside who asked if he could wash my windshield for me. Overall, I would go here again!

My issue with this place is how expensive it is for what you get. I recently ordered 2(TWO!!!) small antipastos to go, which came in a burger sized container. Fifteen frickin dollars! Seriously?! Yeah… not going there anymore. Good salad, but food to value ratio is poor. What’s weird is that every time I’ve gone, at different times of the day, it’s been empty, with maybe 1 – 2 tables occupied. Is this a sign? I dunno… you be the judge. I think that locals go there because it seems to be the only pizza place around that neighborhood.

Just called and asked if the had any specials. Gut on the phone said NO we don’t have any. Then he told me I could go on there website and print out some coupons. I told him I don’t have a printer. He said«that’s to bad«I told him its cool I guess I won’t order. He said it’s cool. I told him I guess you don’t get my business and he reply«that’s ok bye«that’s rude! ! Dude!!!

What a ripoff I ordered two medium pizzas while visiting family in the area and apparently they don’t deliver now I have to leave the party to pick up these pizzas. I’ve heard good things about this place through family so I go in to pick them up and the guy tells me $ 28?! fine I have hungry kids waiting well on top of the box there was a coupon and one of the deals was for two medium two topping pizzas for $ 17.99 so I just over paid by $ 10 and really felt ripped off. To top it off the pizzas are so small they could pass for a small anywhere else and the worst part is they weren’t even good I mean nothing to write home about. I defintely will NOT order from this place again. I guess for being in a small town with not many other choices to choose from you could be fooled into believing this is actually good pizza.

Well, against my will I returned. Disappointment, again. I’m not sure how it’s possible to get poor service when I phone in my order, pick it up myself, only to find more employees than patrons? I am saddened that I spent my hard earned money on Venezia and not a much cheaper frozen pizza at Stater’s next door. Please don’t interpret that the pizza was bad. It was quite good. I liked it. I have generally liked their food. But I don’t see spending these prices for absolutely no customer service. I can go to Venezia and pay a restaurant price for drive through service or I can pay drive through prices for drive through service. Any who, I hate writing bad reviews, but come on! Times are tough. All it takes is a smile and appreciation for my business. I hate feeling like an intruder in a place of business. Especially on a Friday night. At a restaurant. *smh*

I really wanted this place to be great. Instead, it felt like they really phoned it in. This is a 2.5 star rating, but I decided to round up since the people who work there seem really nice. By way of back story, I was born in the north east, and tend to travel back to New York City for the holidays. In my last two trips, I’ve visited Lombardi’s and Grimaldi’s, two pizza meccas. Every time I come back, I go on a quest to find something around me that approximates that New York style. San Diego has a couple of joints that are pretty close — Pizzeria Luigi, Hoboken Pizza… but nothing in the IE. We decided to give Venezia a shot. This place is right around the corner, so if they could give me my east coast style pie, I would be a loyal customer for the foreseeable future. We ordered the margherita — the pie by which I judge all others. We ordered the XL, hoping that the largest size would lead to a good, fold-able slice. What we got was a pizza that contained most of the basic elements of a margherita pizza, but showed that the pizza maker has no clue what it is really supposed to look and taste like. First, the crust. It was appropriately thin, but absolutely flavorless. It was the wonderbread of pizza crust. The texture was close, but a bit too crispy, so it cracked when folded. They used the wrong kind of flour — a higher gluten flour would lead to more chewiness. They also need to cook it in a hotter oven, which leads to the bubbly, airy crust that makes an east coast style pizza great. Next, the cheese. It seemed to be a typical shredded mozzarella, which is to be expected out here. Fresh slices of whole mozz would have been better, but that is getting really picky. The real issue I had was with the toppings. A good margherita pizza should have thinly sliced tomatoes, basil leaves, some garlic, and an olive oil drizzle. This pizza had tomato wedges which were obviously from the salad bin and some chopped basil that was far too uniform to be freshly cut. They were a different temperature than the rest of the pizza, so it seemed like they were thrown on as an afterthought. There was no garlic, and it was drenched in olive oil. What we ended up with was cheesy bread with a salad on top. It had all of the elements of a pizza, but just lacked inspiration. It really disappointing me because this is the simplest of pizzas to get right. Not using a wood or coal fired oven, not getting the dough perfect, no fresh mozz — all forgivable. The salad on top was just not acceptable. I’m willing to give these guys another try in the hopes that they do a simple pepperoni or mushroom with a little more flair, but I fear that I’ll have to resume my quest for the perfect slice elsewhere.

The pizza is great. However the turkey sandwich, which happens to be the only other thing I have ordered, is unbelievable. No frills, no fuss, just good food! The only downer is that they removed all of the arcade style games and replaced them with a gold buying counter! Who’s hair brained idea was that? My kids were so confused.

Every time I take a motorcycle ride up to Forest Falls, I always stop at this place. I absolutely love their pizza. I am from New Jersey, and this is THEBEST New Jersey tasting pizza I have had in the 22 years I have been living in CA. Every time I have stopped, the pizza is consistently great. Their crust is thin and soft, the sauce is tasty without being acidic, and they are not skimpy on the cheese. Every time I go in, I always make sure to let the guys behind the counter know how good the pizza is. I am even starting to think I will have to try some of the other selections since the pizza is so good.

A choice between this place and Dominoes… This place hands down! The boys that work here are always so darn friendly and helpful. They have such tastey pizza and there always seems to be a good baseball game on the big screen. Bordering Mentone and Redlands it is a good location. I love the garlic cheese bread too. yum!

It’s been forever and a day since I visited this joint. I used to be a regular since it was convenient to one of my old clients. So what’s the deal here. Well, $ 5.99 gets a you an Italian hero sandwich with chips and drink. For 4-something, you get a 1-topping 8-inch pizza. Today I opted for the sandwich. They kinda burnt the bun, but it was still enjoyable. The saving grace — cherry coke. The chips are your flavor-less lay’s, which I’m not the biggest fan of. Really wanted to get their hot wings, since I remember those the most. I used to LOVE them here, but decided to hold off til next time.
