This is a small take out establishment that serves home style Columbian cuisine. I had sweet plantain, black beans and rice, chicharron, and a chicken empanada. I enjoyed the food. Don’t skip the sauces if you are accustomed to eating spicy food. The chef’s food is very tasty, but to my Panamanian tongue, very mild. I will be returning.

Thank God an empanada place opened in Redlands. This place is really good. My brother and I bought 14 chicken empanadas. And 5 mins later they disappeared. Haha so we’ll be sure to come back here. And the service is good too! Very nice people.

Great Empanadas! and love all their unique sauces… They use olive oil to cook most of their dishes :-) you can’t go wrong here… The location is very clean and its a family run business with friendly owners. Will definitely come back and will bookmark this as one of my new favorite locations.

Went in thinking I would get some yummy authentic Colombian antojitos. And to my dismay it was a disappointment for my boyfriend and I. everything was overpriced. The empanada sauces all lack flavor. We got 2 chicken and 2 shredded beef empanadas oily beyond means. Chicken had no flavor didn’t taste like chicken at all it was all flavorless. We also ordered arepas con queso. total disappointed these weren’t made from scratch no authenticity there. The arepa was flavorless again like it was frozen prepackaged from who knows where. I could of made better arepas at home with tortilla masa and grilled them. yucca frita was fried but still uncooked inside. not edible!

I went to this place in search of authentic Colombian empanadas and this place was perfect! They have a large variety of empanadas and they also serve a few Colombian plates such as bandeja paisa and arroz con pollo. I would stick with their specialty which are empanadas but the food was not so bad either. Five stars because the food was delicious and the service was awesome too!

First of all you walk in and the place is spotless. The young girl at the counter was very helpful and sweet. We ordered empanadas, Arroz con Pollo, tostones, maduros, yucca fries and Colombian rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. It’s nice to support a small business that is bringing this delicious Colombian food to the neighborhood. The place is quaint so be prepared to pick up and enjoy at home. We will be back! As a matter fact we went back for dinner the same night and took the food to go to share with the rest of the family. Even though they ran out of my favorite Moho sauce they made me some at the last minute. Great family customer service. Thank you

First time visiting and was looking forward to it, with admiration of anyone who would experiment with offering the local public Latin American food that’s not Mexican. Nice courteous staff and relatively quick food prep time. The empanadas are very tasty and hearty with a nice and rich crispy corn shell and filled my wife and me well! The arepa with cheese was ok, but not nearly as substantial in size as depicted in the photo, and skimpy for the price, in my opinion. The sauces are deliciously zesty and go quite well on the food. I’ll be back every now and then and probably just stick to the empanadas, about 4 or 5 of which(for me, at 160 lbs) make a good quick and satisfying meal.

So delicious!!! Beef empanada with chimichurri sauce, steak, rice, sweet plantains… Have to come back and try more kinds of empanadas, arroz con pollo, and more. Super fresh and flavorful — highly recommend.

An authentic hole in the wall! I had never had this style(apparently Colombian) of empanada before. The breading is corn based. My favorite filling was the potato and chorizo(which is made in house). Personally, I’m in love with sweet fried plantains, and these did not disappoint.

My family and I have been looking for a Colombian restaurant here in the Inland Empire for years. After having some good Colombian food from another location on Christmas Eve, my daughter-in-law went online looking for one closer to us in the Redlands. She came across Empanada Planet here in Redlands! Our family went to try it out this past Sunday, Jan. 03. We all loved it!!! The food, the selection, and the service were all excellent!!! We highly recommend Empanada Planet to all you who want some awesome authentic Colombia food!!!

I rate it four stars since this place is relatively new. The empanadas where great but also looking forward for more of a selection. This is a family owned and operated bussines and their customer service is awesome. We got to talk to the owners and they were extremely kind nothing less to expect from the warmth and carisma of Colombian people. Looking forward to stop here every time we head to the mountains its worth the derout. We tried every empanada in the menu, the Arroz con pollo they defently have the delicious Colombian flavor.

I love empanada planet! First time trying Colombian food; and to my surprise it was very tasty. I have attached a picture of their arepas; chicharron and carne asada. Very yummy!!! My favorite are the empanada de chicharrón, and chicken.(No picture, because I ate it) Very cheap also… if you try them out don’t leave without trying their tostones. And don’t forget their salsas. The location is very clean and neat. The staff and the owners are very friendly. Love coming here for my lunch break. Hope they decide to open more locations.

Let me start off by saying I’m not Colombian and have no experience trying Colombian food. I’ve only had the empanadas and I got to say they’re pretty freaking good. I’ve been here twice in a week since I found out about them and both times the empanadas were bomb. My favorite was the chorizo and potato empanada.

I had the pleasure of trying a number of things from Empanada Planet and am happy to say that it was all darn good. That said, the empanadas are really tasty and stuffed liked crazy! The chicken was my favorite. I also tried the Bandeja Tipica and feel that it’s was a great value. You get a ton of food, all of which tasted great. All in all, Empanada Planet should be a «go-to» destination for anyone in the area craving authentic South American flavors. GOODSTUFF!

Saw a FB post for this place and happened to be in the area so my wife and I stopped by. Small location super clean and minimal décor done well;with only two tables outside, a total take out place. Not a big deal We ordered the Empenadas one of each(we were hungry) they were made to order and came out in a timely manner. Nice size and stuffed! A good crisp to them(wife would of liked them a bit less oily) I thought they were just fine. We both liked all the sauces but the chimichurri was spot on and if I could have a gallon with the food I would… we also ordered the tostones with pork WOW so delicious. Can’t wait to try more of their menu! Oh also Staff super nice and attentive for it being a takeout establishment. I wish then the best the food is great. Good to see other types of food opening in Redlands!

Five stats for even trying to get some culture and new food up here. bravo! Hurry up and open!!! Update: They opened last week and I tried a chicharron arepa and it was $ 7.55 for a little masa, the size of a street taco tortilla, an imperceptible amount of cheese and a chunk of chicharron. Flavor unimpressive. Sauces just ok. Not as flavorful as other arepa places I have tried. I know pink sauce is just like thousand but with no pickly bits but this one was really lacking the tang I have had with other pink sauces. The chimichuri was really oily and tasted like good season italian. The cilantro sauce was, as I expected, good. Maybe this Colombian restaurant is from a region that makes them this way. If you haven’t ever had an arepa, you should try it. Arepa eaters, don’t be surprised if it isn’t quite what you thought you would get. Granted I have only had arepas in Queens. I might not be the best judge. My favorite arepa is Arepa Rellena, the queen! Empenada Planets are spare & severe, mot mess/fun.
