Simple place, nice booths, bar, friendly staff. Food was good, brown rice, shrimp excellent! The sides given are very small portions but good. Simple good food. Don’t expect overflowing dishes of food

I love this restaurant. The food has always been first class and the variety will keep you coming back. It is not greasy and the flavor is so much fuller than any take out quick food Chinese place. The service has always been very attentive and everyone is really genuine and makes you feel welcome. I’m a big fan of their tea as well.

Come here for take out and I really like the pan fried noodles here. Better than other Chinese restaurants. The folks when I come to pay are friendly. First time dining in. Our server wasn’t too friendly so we’ll see how the rest of the service goes. Tonight she was the only server for the entire restaurant. Even with the We didn’t have to ask for refills and she checked in several times to ensure we were enjoying our meal and that we didn’t need anything. She was fast and efficient. Ordered the Chinese chicken salad, sizzling rice soup with chicken, chicken fried rice and beef pan fried noodles. Everything was delicious and well seasoned. Definitely recommend coming for the food.

Worst Chinese restaurant ever! Service was terrible. One waitress for the entire restaurant ! Long black HAIR in egg drop soup. Plates were dirty! Portions tiny. Would never go back!

I am surprised at the low reviews. We have never eaten at the restaurant but have done take out 6 times. They’ve always had fresh tasting food and my order is always complete. We order: chicken chow mein, sweet n sour pork, vegetable low mein, shrimp with lobster sauce, vegetable egg rolls and fried shrimp. No complaints.

Wow how disappointing. I really thought I was on an episode of candid camera or something. We walk in with our group of 8 for a family dinner Christmas Day. We had a 7:00 reservation. After getting blank stare from the hostess, I had to help her find my name on the list. When we booked we asked for a round table so we could all talk. The guy confirmed round table. By 7:15 we still were not seated, someone comes out from the back and says round table will only sit 6 people you have to wait for another table. We wait another 15 mins. Now there is no hostess, there are now 30 people waiting by the front with no employees in sight. Other patrons are making jokes that they are the hostess and writing their own names down. Finally at 7:30 another lady starts to seat us and a man walks out from the kitchen and yells to the lady no more food and don’t seat us. We left very angry! I’m telling you I have never seen a restaurant run like this before! One guy raised his voice and left after he was turned down from ordering takeout food as well. Lots of people were walking out very angry and the employees were mute and nowhere to be found.

Large bowl of Won Ton soup was delicious, full of shrimp, chicken, veggies in a great broth. Service was good. No complaints here. I’ll go back,

Came here for a quick lunch on my way to a client’s office. After I was seated I checked it out on Unilocal and became concerned I made the wrong decision. Either this place is «hit or miss» because I found the service pleasant and efficient. Had the chicken with veggies and it was well seasoned and came out of the kitchen quickly. Portion was a bit small but it is a lunch after all. I’d come back.

I’m still looking for a good Chinese restaurant in the desert. The pork chow mein was good but it was brown in color even the carrots. Instead of looking fresh it had more of a gravy on it. And the server is so rude. He actually made a rude sound when I said table for one

I’ve never had Chinese food as bad as this. Does the chef have a clue about the fabulous aromatics and seasonings used in traditional Chinese cuisine? I think not. BLAND! Pot stickers had neither ginger nor garlic and the sauce was sickeningly sweet. Note to ALL Chinese restaurants in he Valley: find another supplier of egg rolls. As for the Mongolian Beef it was pathetic. Do not waste your hard earned dollars

We tried about 5 – 6 different dishes and most were just so-so, except the potstickers which were excellent! I’m a bit of a potsticker connoisseur and was quite impressed. But the rest of the food made my stomach a bit sick and we were looking for«authentic» Chinese food as my friend that I came here with is from China, and this was definitely not authentic. Other than that, the price was good and servers were attentive. If I lived in Palm Springs I would come back here just for the potstickers.

Food is good but staff is so extremely rude that it isn’t worth your time. I’ve been here 5 plus times and the server is rude. I would recommend going somewhere else for your Chinese food fix.

I’m sorry to report this is simply another Asian establishment, where the owners have deep pockets(great décor!)…but have tiny Crocodile arms(stingy portions). I do not have a big appetite — but the lunch plate I ate totaled roughly 8oz, and left me walking-out still hungry. Yes, it’s indeed tasty… but in reality, you are still paying close to PF Chang prices for Americanized Chinese Food, served inside a tiny strip mall. To pay $ 1 more for 1⁄3 less food($ 9.25 Lunch Special) is in my honest opinion, an outright gang-raping of the tourist.

I am surprised at the low reviews. This restaurant meets all my expectations and is one of the better Chinese restaurants in the area. Really authentic good flavors at a reasonable lunch price. Service: 5 stars: both times I have come to this location I have been seated quickly and thoroughly checked up on without issue. I also appreciate that they wait on you without being pushy or all up on your table. They asses when you need more of something but aren’t constantly interrupting your table like I’ve seen done at other places. Food: 5 stars: the best Chinese food I’ve found in the area. Again this isn’t a fancy meal, nothing about this place is «gourmet» so keep that in mind. It’s just good, fresh, flavorful Chinese food. Also the portions are fabulous for the price at lunch! Under $ 10 a person for soup, entrée, and rice. Hits the spot! Recommendation: shrimp with lobster sauce, it’s some of the best I’ve had in the area, it definitely competes with my LA standards! Fried rice is great along with the egg flour soup. Please give this place a try it’s definitely under appreciated and due to the location easily overlooked.

My husband and I went here for lunch. They were slow… there were only about 5 other tables seated out of about 20, so you’d expect them to be a little faster with service. It took about 3 minutes before someone noticed me waiting to get seated. My husband and I were quick to place our orders: crab wontons and eggrolls for apps and I had the shrimp with lobster sauce lunch special while he ordered shrimp fried rice. We got our drinks. I had iced tea and he had raspberry tea. They were both great! Then I got the soup which came with lunch. It was okay. Our apps came in a timely manner and we enjoyed them, especially the eggrolls. However, it took a very long time to get our meals. It was okay because we were being leisurely, but I do not recommend this for a quick lunch, especially if you are on a lunchbreak. I also wished our server had refilled our drinks one more time. The meal was a little pricey for lunch as well, but seemed to be good quality food. The spicy mustard will really clean out your sinuses!!! We overall enjoyed it.

This is my first Unilocal review. I have eaten here a few times when visiting family. It has always been a good experience… Aside from the Kung pao chicken that is basically onions and green peppers, the food is pretty decent. Today we had guests coming in and planned to call in an order and have the food home when guests arrived. I called at 8 pm and the phone was busy. I assumed someone was placing an order, so I checked back every few minutes. Finally after 15 minutes of a busy phone I decided I had better drive over. Frustrated because my perfectly timed plans were now ruined, I continued calling on my drive over hoping to at least get the order in before I arrived. At 8:30 the phone was still off the hook. I arrived and the guy who took my order told me that they«can’t do» the food that I normally order. I then asked for a manager and asked for my regular order and expressed my frustration with the phone situation and they said they will«call the phone company tomorrow.» She then said«Do you want the food or not?» I’m worried about what happened to my food in the back at this point, and I will not be giving my money to this business again. Unbelievable.

Wow what a disappointment. Ordered carry out after picking family up from the airport Egg rolls greasy and basically just cabbage and nothing else What happened to pork and onion and peanut butter mixture that is used in most egg rolls I haven’t found any like that in California including L A. Kung Pao fried pieces of I don’t know what with absolutely no flavor at all with 1 pepper and 6 peanuts thrown on top. Orange peel chicken same battered fried glue like mess with absolutely no vegetables at all. Mongolian beef was the best of the three about 1⁄8 of a pound of meat had a little flavor but really $ 65 for this??? Panda Express is better? Can someone please tell me where there is a decent Chinese place in the Desert! !

Was going someplace that wasn’t open so we came here to try it. The reviews didn’t look good but I thought I would try it anyway. We first got the pan fried dumplings. It made me think about the pan fried dumplings I had in Ginza Tokyo. They are to die for. Best dumplings I’ve had in the states. Tony was our server and did a great job. We ordered the beef and snow peas. I couldn’t get over how tender the beef was. We also got pork lomain the pork was also very tender. The noodles could had been better but adding sriracha made it better. Yes I would eat here again no I wouldn’t just go by the negative reviews. The price was just right. $ 40 for two.
