Love Panda, food here is always hot and fresh. Love their Passion Tea! But this location never has a fresh batch. Its always watered down.

NOTWHATITUSEDTOBE! Riding home from an adventuresome weekend in the desert with hiking SisTa & BroTha, our tummy’s were rumblin’ and grumbling’. SisTa wanted to stop here to refuel for the rest of the drive, but BroTha and I kind of cringed at the thought. Not having been to a panda in forever, the thoughts of 50lb bags of MSG being poured into their mix of ingredients were my memory of Panda. BroTha, the healthy eater, thought he could find an eatery nearby offering healthier choices. We pulled into the shopping plaza where Panda, and other eateries and shops resided. Although there were other eateries, there weren’t any that appeared any healthier than Panda. The interior is brightly lit by beaming rays of sunshine, tables, chairs, and booths filled the room with a register, display counter, and self-service soda fountain. The menu board is mounted above the register where patrons place and pay for their order, handed a beverage cup and an order number. At the far end of the restaurant is the self-serve beverage station, as well as utensils, napkins, and condiments. Our orders were ready shortly after we placed them and were steaming hot. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and flavors with every bite. Definitely not, what I remember. We were all pleased with our meals and our experience with the fast and friendly service. ORDERED: Beijing Beef Chow Mein & Teriyaki Chicken Three item combo, Chow Mein, Teryaki Chicken, Orange Chicken String Bean Chicken Breast & Fried Rice IN A FLASH! Plenty of free parking for shoppers and eaters. While we were inside Panda ordering and eating, there as a constant flow of other rumblin’ and grumblin’ tummy’s looking for sustenance and were quickly taken care of with a smile from the staff. .

Service was slow here. I ordered 2 plates. I had to wait for 2 different entrees to be cooked; for one of them, the employee said it’d take 5 minutes but it actually took more like 15 minutes. Then the food quality was poor; the vegetables tasted frost bitten and the rice was overcooked. If I knew I was going to wait so long just to be unsatisfied I would of went somewhere else!

Pretty good for a quick family dinner. Just make sure you’re in the restaurant at least 45 mins to an hour before closing otherwise they run out of choice and don’t make more.

Panda express is so cheap they never include forks unless you ask for one. The customer service is also rude and they are so stingy with the food. If there was a real Chinese food place I’d go there.

This Panda is in a good location… nestled in between a subways and IHOP… standard foods here… service good and fast. Sometimes the lines can be long. Like the fact that they have some beef and shrimp dishes… dont see much of pork on the menu at all. The night manager seems to do a lot to maintain the cleanliness of the place.

CONS –mediocre customer service, small portions, unappetizing. PROS-no wait, clean.

It’s a chain. You know what to expect. But this one distinguishes itself in that it does not keep its trays stocked during busy lunchtime. It makes items to order so each customer waits about 7 minutes for their order. Boo. Two stars

Worst Panda Express experience ever. Orange chicken was gone when we arrived and it is still empty 25 minutes later. Waited an extra 10 for my entrée to be made. Needs serious management and employee improvement

This is not a good Panda Express. We have been here twice in the past 2 months and both times the food was substandard. Today it was extremely over-cooked and tasted as though the oil they used was stale. If you are looking to eat at a Panda, drive the extra miles to the location inside the Pavilions grocery store in Rancho Mirage off of Bob Hope Dr.

I have to log what I eat everyday. I use an app called My Fitness Pal. I try to stay under 1200 calories a day. I had the BOWL size with one entre’ and hakf chow mein, half white rice. The calories are posted on the menu wall to make it easy to add up calories eaten. I came very close with the chicken teriaki chicken, but it was so delish, i couldn’t help myself. The chicken was very moist, not dry at all.

been there multiple times — staff had left out and mixed up items in past and manager was helpful in rectifying the situation food fresh — and understandably when stuff is cooked fresh they may run out of certain items quicker than others… location good.

I have never really had an issue with this Panda Express. It is close and it is always clean. Of course, we never eat in. Sometimes they do run low on items but I would rather wait a little for something fresh. I’m sure it’s hard to gauge consumption daily here in the desert. The food is not ultra-healthy but it is better than eating at McDonalds. In two plus years we have been here about 6 – 7 times. The last time was the only time I ordered meals in lieu of cartons. We will go this route in the future. Every once in a while I can really DIG some Panda.

A little scarce on the quantity, and the service wasn’t the greatest, but hey it’s Panda.

Panda’s does have good food for starters. However, do NOT tell me that I can NOT buy 3 single servings of steamed rice unless I buy an entrée. Single servings of a side is on your menu, you have the single serving to go containers and you saw my 2 small children and my 9 year old wasn’t very hungry. I didn’t want anything to eat. It was rather frustrating to have to explain this to the lady«helping» me. I do appreciate the fact that you ended up giving me what I requested… even with the sigh and eye roll. I will avoid coming to this location as I really don’t like the way I was treated and if it weren’t for my 2 little ones really wanting the rice, I would have left.

The Panda Express is a chain so it’s not very different than the others.

this should be 2.5 stars So we decided to go back to this panda after last time and this time was a lil bit better(all but one drink option were available) however it was dinnertime and they were out of several items and and the portions were smaller than normal and we waited a total of 45 minutes for our togo order(walked in the door at 5:30 and left at 6 :15 and we were waiting on eggrolls) i really would not have minded the wait so much if the employees had been a lil nicer. Overall the food was better but the service needs help!

Another PE. All are corporate-owned stores, there are no franchises. In a good location that is new and just starting to boom. Same décor and same okay food as all other Panda Expresses. Ample parking out front in the strip mall. Very friendly staff.
