Came here for their dinner buffet. There was a good selection of food and they also had a hibachi station. There wasn’t really anything that stood out though. They pretty much had the same things that you could find at any other chinese buffet.

We have been here a few times. Food had seemed good given the price and fact it is a buffet. We went this past weekend and I have been so sick ever since. I had a couple pieces of sushi which I NEVER do there. Which means raw uncooked and potential issues. I have been sick since Sunday … Basically living in the bathroom and the thought of food nauseates me. Urgent Care in morning if not better. Beware !!!

This place is gross. Got my first plate and asked for my money back. The beef was soggy and the rice was dry. You get what you pay for I guess. 8 dollars. 0 stars if it was possible

When you want inexpensive Chinese/Asian food, the Emperor is a perfect spot… The price is right, even you expect the food to be nothing much more than Panda Express… But it’s not. The food is EXCELLENT! It’s authentic! The food is just as good as nearly any other Chinese restaurant in the area… The food is fresh — constantly being refilled and refreshed. There is freshly made sushi rolls and other types of sushi, there’s a hot«wok» station where you can choose your stir-fry ingredients and have a fresh entrée prepped right there for you… There are most of your Chinese food entrees and sides to be found — with a variety of chicken, pork and beef dishes, a slew of seafood entrees and a few vegetarian friendly choices, too. Many types of appetizers — stuffed won-tons, spring rolls, pot-stickers(dumplings) and more — including steamed pork buns(Bao) and the little steamed«stuffed crowns»!!! Add in a decent selection of salads and(often) 4 different types of soup, your choices are nearly limitless. There are always trays of freshly steamed crab legs… And there are often special entrees and sides for holidays and special days. They offer beer and wine and sake, as well as hot tea and all the other types of soft-drinks you’d expect. There are a lot of desert choices, as well. The layout can be a bit … tough … and it can be really crowded… Parking can be a bit difficult, too. The location is easy to find — right on Hwy 111 between Frank Sinatra and Date Palm… Public transportation is right there, too, with a bus stop a few hundred feet away. The only real issue I can find is that it can be a little noisy and can be crowded. The dining area has been re-purposed from whatever the building/restaurant was before and has really bad acoustics… there’s a LOT of noise… But the service is quick and attentive, the food is pretty much near the top of the scale of quality and is priced that it’s not a worry to fill you up…

I was hesitant to come in and try their buffet Asian cuisine. I’m usually sketched out by buffets due to sanitation and freshness concerns. But my coworker recommended it, so I thought I’d give it a go. The scenery of the location isn’t very nice, but there was plenty of parking. Upon entering, I was greeted by a host and was seated promptly. Now for the food. I honestly stuck to Chinese food such as the rice, noodles, chicken and beef dishes. The crab legs and breaded shrimp was probably my favorite thing there. The sushi did look promising, but I’m not a fan of raw fish. The only thing they could work on is expanding their variety of desserts. The only appealing option there was the self-serve soft-serve. All in all, the price was reasonable, so I probably will be returning.

Now I know some of you sniffle dismissively at buffets. Fine with me. More for me! This was a nice buffet with a cool assortment of sushi, a cool Mongolian barbecue station, lots and lots of seafood and the standard Chinese fare. We just ate and ate and ate in a pleasant, comfortable avenue and conveniently located with a straight shot to our motel.

Yummy! Went to this buffet since it was walking distance from the Motel 6 I was staying at! I mean I coulddddddddddd drive and waste gas finding food, OR I could just burn some calories and walk on over to the Emperor Asian Buffet! But really, like if you stayed at the motel, there is no food nearby. None. Zero… except, you know… THISBUFFET! Walked in around dinner time to get my grub on. Got a table and just chowed down on food! Not gonna lie, but I don’t remember what entrees I took except for like pizza and some chicken because I was more interested in their sushi bar! I LOVE sushi and this place has really good sushi for an Asian buffet! I didn’t pay attention, but next to the sushi bar looked like make-your-own chow mein? Idk. OH! I also discovered Pink Sushi! Don’t know wtf it was exactly, but it was a good palette cleanser so I grabbed a ton of it and ate it in between my other sushies and occasional wanton. Kept on stuffin’ my face like the apocalypse was on it’s way(and it didn’t happen because lol we’re still alive and reading Unilocal!). Eventually I got my check and paid 20% tip because I was so satisfied and happy with the food choices and my new found love for pink sushi. I got a fortune cookie. Took a photo of it(not shown) but it read: The time is right to make new friends. Oooh! Also learned that the Chinese word for«mouth» is «kou.» Looks like I stuffed my KOU with delicious food! LOL! They had complimentary mints at the front too. Pretty cool! Oh, and they have this policy that says that they will charge you double if you waste food. I think it’s a fair policy for those jerks who put too much on their plate and don’t finish it. I mean, they’re are starving people in Africa literally dying to put that chicken or tuna rolls into their«kou“s and YOU’REWASTINGFOOD. So if you bring your kids in here, be sure to remind them to not waste food! Or you’ll be the one paying… THEPRICE!!!(Which is double your check lol.)

I live in the Los Angeles area and there are no seafood buffets as good and inexpensive as this one. To be able to have as much shrimp, crab, and lobster as you want? I’ve been here twice now and I love it. They constantly refill everything with fresh items and we had great service. I have no idea why anyone would give this place bad reviews. The salt and pepper shrimp with the heads on-lol– were really great quality and cooked perfectly. I also had a steamed ginger fish which was good as any restaurant. It’s not a fancy place but I look forward to coming back next time I’m in the desert.

I do not know what made me go here, again. Embarrassed I brought a friend here. I don;t expect much from such a cheap buffet, but the food should be edible. The sushi rolls were the best thing there, and that is being generous. Besides that, the only other good thing was the soda.

This was pretty good. For $ 12 and staggered pricing for kids over 3 you really can’t beat the quality. We cane because we wanted something quick and what is quicker than a buffet? The selection is pretty big. It’s missing some regular chinese staples like General Tso’s, chow mein etc, but there are a lot of things to choose from. The sushi was buffet sushi… nothing to write home about, but nice as an option. The soft-serve was nice. Things seemed to be replenished timely and it was steady busy. The staff we had was also friendly. Can’t give this more than 3 stars since it was plentiful but pretty average, but if you need quick and lower cost I’d give it a go.

While sitting in the waiting area waiting for the rest of my party to show up I over heard the seating hostess and waitress talking in Chinese and English, and saying that«Americans are stupid and crazy.» I will not eat at any restaurant that expresses such prejudice. I am absolutely disgusted! I hope all Americans that read this will think twice before eating and supporting people that think that way. «NOSTAR»

After a 6 plus hour drive, me and Jeff were looking for a seafood buffet. Morongo had there sensational seafood buffet which only consisted of king crab and no crawfish. How do you not have crawfish. Ughh no. I want lobster. Called a few places and too my surprise this place had lobster. It’s not the best lobster in the world but it was lobster. It dosent compare to no Hilton buffet or seafood village buffet in Vegas. I am the buffet fanatic. Some food hit the spot and some after one bite didn’t get touch. The habachi person needs more training. Food had no flavors at all. The hot and sour soup I found a piece of hair in it. Service was okay, I guess. The waitress cater more to my boyfriend. He wanted a chopstick and the lady right away grab it for him. So I assumingly thought she was going to grab two but no I had to grab my own.

My mom and I love this cheap Chinese buffet! It’s almost never super crowded, and if you’re looking for greasy yummy Chinese food, it’s a great place. Sometimes they even have a guy who will build your own teriyaki bowl for you near where the sushi is, but he’s pretty hidden and isn’t there all the time. The strawberries are SUPER delicious, especially with a sugar bun!

I had dinner here last night and have absolutely no complaints about the food. Everything I tried was fresh, tasty, and given the opportunity, I would eat it again. I ate my weight in snow crab, & shrimp for $ 12.99 and I couldn’t be any happier about that. Even their soft serve was remarkably good! This review would be a 5 for food alone, but they get dinged a star because our server wasn’t very attentive to us. I watched her chit-chat with coworkers, help other tables & check on the same tables over and over again all while I was waiting to ask her for a crab cracker. Booo! Either way, come eat here! It’s inexpensive and tasty!

Travel here and craving for Chinese after a week American food. Dinner 11.99 include crab legs and sushi. Others are typical buffet stuff but tasty. Pretty clean but not upscale. Outside a little old and almost drove me away. Very good value…

Time for my 2015 update review. Fantastic! I went there for the weekend buffet and I loved everything I took. Wonton soup — wonderful flavor! Lobster was still in claws. Not for me! Jumbo fried shrimp — had way too many because they were so good! Sushi bar had… SALMONSASHIMI! Even tho it was just average that was very acceptable to me in a buffet setting like this. Very good service with a smile from wait staff! Hot apple pie with soft serve vanilla ice cream! Can’t remember any more standouts because of the food induced coma I was in!
