Mama Bear’s Pizzeria

I moved to Braintree last year and have been looking for decent pizzeria and I final found it… food was great and arrived on time… I also love the fact that they have healthy options for the kids meals. loved the lady behind the counter very welcoming and kind:).I lost all hope when I had a bad experience at another local braintree pizza place (will not mention any names) but was very happy all around

Just tried this place for the first time. We didn’t order pizza, but just about everything else — sandwiches, pasta, wings, quesadillas. I tried a little bit of everything. All of it was really good. And what really sealed the deal was their fried dough for dessert. Holy moly, it was incredible. I will update my review when I try the pizza.

I have recently moved to the Quincy area and having been trying to find a good local pizza place. I was very intrigued by Mama Bears menu. I love Mexican pizza but it can be hard to find so I was excited to see it on their menu. I ordered a medium Mexican Bear pizza. It was delicious! The base was hot and the lettuce and tomato toppings were cool and crisp. The only thing I will change next time is to leave off the jalapeños, little to spicy for me! I also got an order of the country style wings with honey mustard. They also were delicious. They were coated in the sauce with a good sized side of the sauce for dipping. My only problem was the delivery time. After 45 minutes I gave them a call to check on the status of my order. She was extremely apologetic and said she was on her way immediately. My order arrived 10 minutes later. In addition to my order an additional order of wings was included! Everything was hot and well prepared. I was very impressed with the extra wings for service recovery. Good food good service. I will certainly be ordering again!

After giving this place another chance, ive found my togo chicken wing joint!
Their wings are one of a kind (country style chicken wings) they are like kfc chicken wings, the skin is soooo good! Im ready to try all of their different flavored sauces now.
I love the owner shes super nice!
Those complaining about delivery its because she shares one delivery guy with the Chinese food next door (J garden) therefore please be patient!)

I stopped in and really liked this place. On the corner of Franklin St. and Water St. Looking to try their calzone next time. Great spot for take out, a few tables to dine in. Nice little corner pizzeria for Quincy. The people were very nice, the owner chatted with me for a bit, very awesome person. I will be back!

This place was horrible, and even that is an overstatement. If I could give no stars I would. We ordered online and the order came to us over an hour later, which is fine that’s not what bothered me. The food was absolutely disgusting, the pizza didn’t look like pizza, it was flat and fell apart, the crust didn’t really look like pizza crust, and it just looked like a fake nasty processed pizza. The taste of it… I really cant explain it, it didnt taste like pizza, it was more plastic tasting. We unfortunately also got wings and an appetizer sampler. The wings were not edible, and the sampler was all deep fried (onion rings, jalapeño poppers, mozzarella sticks, chicken fingers and ravioli) and they all looked the same except for the shape. It tasted horrible, everything was tough and over cooked, it was not edible. We paid almost $ 50 for all of it, and ended up throwing it all away. I hate wasting food, but honestly this didn’t taste like food. I ended up getting sick an hour after my nibbling, and my stomach was killing me all night and the next day. I will never EVER order from this place again, I honestly don’t know how it got good reviews. I wish I could get a refund, but its not worth the argument

Worst delivery in Quincy. Ordered at 7:01, got food at 8:26. And I live less than 3 mi away. Then instead of an official receipt, the gave a square piece of paper to sign. All this and I haven’t even eaten yet. I won’t be expecting much.

Ordered delivery. First if all, the girl who took our order couldn’t get our order right and kept having to retake it. A simple cheeseburger and BBQ chicken sub.
Then, the delivery girl called 45 minutes later asking for directions to our apartment, which just so happens to be a huge complex you can’t miss.
Then, the food. My BBQ chicken tasted nothing like BBQ but WAY too much oregano. Barf. My husbands cheeseburger was «okay, but I’d probably never order it again.
Disappointing Friday night delivery.

Not only is the food good, but the customer service is outstanding! The owner is always so nice to talk with and I am just guessing it is her daughter at the counter but she is just as nice! The buffalo chicken calzone is delicious and my boyfriend loves their italian sub. More options than the old pizza place that was there.

The food is good, best salad in quincy so far. We didn’t get part of our order and upon calling back, had to call for almost 20 minutes until someone picked up the phone. They were cool just blaming the driver and bringing me a cold $ 8 quesadilla. They then told me the would make me a hot one. God knows if I will actually get it. Very disappointed with the customer service and not getting all our food. Not sure we will order from here again.

Great! I ordered here from Grubhub and the delivery came much earlier than expected which was nice. I got the lazy bear calzone which was very good, and a slice of the Oreo mousse cake for my husband which he hasn’t had yet but it looks great. I’m looking forward to ordering from here again as they have a large menu with many creative options and are very reasonably priced. The woman who delivered was also very nice. Glad to have a new pizza place in quincy that delivers!

Delicious!. Big step up from the previous franklin pizza establishment that was at this location.
they were gving away free slices a month or two ago when they opened so I decide to finally give em a shot today.
I was impressed. i got the appetizer sampler and everything was really good. the mozzarella sticks were thick, the poppers were cream cheese rather then cheddar but really good as well. the subs were big and fat and everything in the italian sub was very FRESH which is a good sign.
I think they got there work cut out for them with franklins reputation but there off to a good start.
Im leaning to a 5 star rating but Im gonna try there pizza first as they are a pizzeria. But Im at about 4.5 now based on what I got. Ill update my rating based on the pizza. Im a pretty tough rater.
delivery time was 25 minutes and the driver was pleasant despite me pawning quarters off on him. good stuff.
