Ordered some time back from here. was awesome !! This time. well. appetizing odors. that is it !! Margarita Pizza looked more pale white with dough being some what some where cooked crunchy and yet undercooked wet ., cheese every where, thinly sliced tomatoes excellent. sliced into 7 pieces but rest just strange in appearance. Locking taste in salt almost blend ., delivery man asked if I wanted to come out to take from him. ehhh ??? I was under impression SHP is best quality in the area but after this experience average to poor as rest in Quincy ., quality has dropped off greatly !!

Always delivering to wrong street. Slightly overpriced. Dough is of better quality but sometimes on the undercooked side(not raw, but still on that whiter side). Quality may be slipping here. Not sure its worth the effort to get a pizza here. SORRYGUYS

School house is consistently good. The last few times we’ve ordered we got different things than just pizza and I’m glad. Buffalo chicken calzone– so good! It’s not overly spicy and a small fed both my bf and I. We also got a basic salad on the side. So delicious. The latest time we got the pop quiz sandwich. While the flavor a were good the bread was floppy and soggy. Not good. There is an awesome aioli but the bread used just sops it up and makes it a total mess. I think they should switch it to something more hearty like a ciabatta. Pulled pork in it was amazing and the spinach is a nice touch.

Pros: 1. This is not your average Boston-area pizza place. 2. They use good ingredients, and everything is fresh. Classic flavor combinations with a strong Italian vibe, just frou frou enough to justify the pricing without being pretentious. 3. The panini and salads are some of the best I’ve had via delivery. 4. This is folding pizza — relatively thin, crispy exterior with a little bit of chewy interior, large slices. 5. None of the food has been outright bad — just a few tweaks needed(see Drawbacks). 6. The focaccia is DELICIOUS. Drawbacks: 1. the delivery can take a long time in the evening/at night. I have had them arrive more quickly during the afternoon, though. 2. Pricier than the average pizza place. $ 7−8/panini. 3. My custom pizza(buffalo chicken, gorgonzola) was pretty haphazard. The chicken pieces were scattered all over the pizza in a pretty unappealing and careless way. Not very much buffalo sauce, but still delicious. It was also sliced rather crazily. 4. I suspect the antipasto veg are not really«marinated» but grilled quickly and then tossed into marinade. In the same vein, the prosciutto is not of the highest quality and what was billed as soppressata was actually what I know as salame cotto. 5. The vegetable panini is EXTREMELY oily. It soaked through the wax paper. I love me some olive oil, but they need to dial it back. For all the oil, the veg was not very abundant. Things me and the husband have ordered and enjoyed: cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, Teacher’s Pet Salad, Bacon Blues Panini, Veggie Panini, Antipasto w/Meat and«Marinated» veg. I want to LOVE this place so much. If they’re a bit more attentive and improve delivery times, I think they could rise to AMAZING status. For now, three stars.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza for delivery which took over an hour and the pizza looked and tasted like yesterday’s pizza. Will never order from there again.

I just wish I could love Schoolhouse. Most of the time they deliver great food. Their garlic knots are fantastic. Their reliability, however, leaves something to be desired. I’ve probably ordered from them 15 – 20 times now and they almost never deliver to me in less than 1.5 hours. And when it takes that long the food is usually cold and unappetizing. Tonight I ordered on Grubhub. The anticipated delivery time was 6:07 — 45 minutes after the order. 15 minutes later I get an email acknowledging that the restaurant received my order and that the delivery time was pushed to 6:40. Okay no big deal I expected this. I call at 6:47 and she tells me they never got my order which I know I crap since the delivery time from Grubhub wouldn’t just change on its own. Canceled the order and am now working on my refund. The heartache caused by Schoolhouse just trying to GET your food is enough to avoid them.

Ordered a farmaggio pie and mozz sticks. Delivery was fast and prices were reasonable but the crust couldn’t handle the toppings. Very floppy crust and the sticks were pretty undercooked. Wouldn’t order again.

Ordered a pineapple & ham pizza which is different from their signature Spring Break. I didn’t want the bacon or the sirrachi drizzle. The pizza was good, loved the sauce that had a bit of flavor character & the cheese. The dough was good too, reminded me of thin crust. The edge was thinner and tougher than I tend to like, I prefer it a bit doughier. Also got the antipasto salad w/prosciutto & soppressata. This was a tasty take on the more familiar pickled cauliflower mix or the lettuce & deli meat renditions. The Hall Pass or meatball sandwich was decent. Your typical meatballs covered in sauce & cheese. Only had a bite of this since I was focused on pizza & salad.

I used to love Schoolhouse. I was so sad when they closed awhile back and so so happy when they reopened. For awhile, it seemed like the old Schoolhouse was back. Recently, though, not so much. My husband and I tried Schoolhouse a few times for pasta(at least 3 times) before I just gave up. Each time, something was wrong. One time, nothing was salted. The second and third time, there was barely any sauce, and everything was flavorless. Sadness! The doughknots are still very good, though, so I will give them that. I miss the old Schoolhouse, and I’m sure that I will give them another try in a month or so to see if they’ve gotten better. Right now, though, they’re off my list, which is sad because they used to be so great!

Placed an order here for pick-up. Decided to go with the Valedictorian, garlic dough knots, and the special with 2 slices of pizza and a can of soda. –Valedictorian($ 8): Grilled chicken, pesto, roasted red peppers, sopressata, five cheese blend on focaccia. Very good portion. Great combination of flavors. I wish they gave more of the sopressata though because it kind of got lost amongst all the other ingredients. –Garlic Dough Knots($ 5.50): Very tasty, better than I expected. The dough was chewy and had a nice texture. Came with a garlic infused oil, which made for an awesome dipping sauce. Only complaint is that they gave a bit too much oil, which created a pool at the bottom of the container. –Special($ 4.99): Came with 2 big slices of cheese pizza. It was good, but not the best I’ve had. Also comes with a can of soda. Good deal for the price. Overall I enjoyed the food here. Ingredients were very fresh. They have an extensive menu of pizza, sandwiches/subs, apps, and salads. A lot of unique pizzas and subs that I’ve never seen anywhere else. I’m looking forward to trying more items from their menu.

I’ll start with the good– My boyfriend ordered the chicken cordon blue calzone and absolutely loved it. We also got the loaded dough knots, which were delicious! Especially the garlicky oil sauce at the bottom, Yum! Now the not so good– Delivery time! We were told 45 minutes, and our food did not arrive for over an hour. Not too too bad, but we were starving! MAC&CHEESE– By far the biggest disappointment of my day. I’m a girl who loves her mac and this was just not up to par. The first thing I noticed was the rather small portion size. The second thing I noticed was the lack of «garlicky breadcrumbs» that the online menu promised and which were also a major selling point for me! What I got instead was a miniature container of mushy penne and chunky cheese sauce, all of which was impossibly flavorless. It was bad. Just bad. That being said, my boyfriend did really enjoy his meal and for that reason we will probably give it another chance!

We order from here occasionally and the food is consistently great. Reviewing tonight because there was a Happy Accident that I think needs to become a menu regular! Tonight we ordered, among other delicious items, the Chicken Strips. We asked for BBQ sauce, but when we got our delivery, the sauce with the chicken did not look like BBQ. Always an adventurist, I stuck a chicken strip into the Mystery Sauce and Holy Awesomeness. Imagine my delight when I realized a) it was their balsamic emulsification, and b) when I discovered how simply awesome, heavenly, and delectable the Chicken Strip-Balsamic Emulsification combo is!!! Oh my lord this needs to be a regular combo option on the menu!!! I do sort of feel bad for the person who probably ordered a salad and got BBQ sauce, but whatever! Chicken and balsamic for the WIN!!!

After a long day at work and then another long process of doing my taxes, I was famished. I was thinking about Schoolhouse since my colleague actually ordered from them for lunch. Schoolhouse was the place I wanted to try. I decided to get the prom king pizza since I’m such a carnivore. When I got home, the presentation of the pizza was really nice and the meats were plentiful which is what I like. When I bit into my first slice, it was very delicious. Light, airy and crisp and packed with flavor. It wasn’t dry or anything and the dough was chewy and perfect. I will definitely be coming back and try some of these delicious dough knots everyone keeps talking about on Unilocal

Well, first time here. We were really hungry and In Quincy so we pulled up Unilocal. This place was close and had four stars with a lot of reviews. Also, looking for something priced right. I didn’t feel like waiting for a whole pizza so I got a slice of cheese and a cheesesteak with onions. The slice was good not great. The cheesesteak was ok not good. It was that really shredded steak and not much of it with a huge amount of bread. The bread was quality, but I’m really not big on getting filled up on bread. My girlfriend got the Drama Queen, which is fresh mozzarella, tomato, arugula, on foccia bread. She gives the sandwich 4 stars. I would probably stick with the pizza myself if there was a next time, but this will probably be our one and only visit.

I just moved to the area and after trying many pizza places, I have come to the conclusion Schoolhouse is the best for its pizza. The cost for pizzas is fair, and it tastes great. My only gripes, the delivery is slow and leaves the pizza warm. Not bad, but I prefer hot pizza. So a half star lost there. The other problem is the cost for appetizers. I just don’t think they are worth the $ 8-$ 10 for what you get. Most of it is pre-made frozen fried food, which is feel is over priced for the amount you get. So another half star lost there. That said, this place has phenominal pizza that is priced accordingly.

Long overdue update, customer service is still very good, pizza not so much. We ordered a pizza directly from the owner based on his recommendation. The pizza was delivered quickly, and arrived hot. However the flavor just wasn’t there. There wasn’t anything bad with the pizza, it just wasn’t that great. I appreciate the service we got, but the food isn’t at the same level.

Came here on a Friday night for some fat kid food! Got an order of the dough knots because the reviews spoke so highly of them, a small pepperoni pizza because that’s my favorite, and a can of coke! First, the dough knots are awful! I am not sure why people think they are so great! I know they are just dough, but why pay extra when you can just eat your crust and it taste the exact same. Actually the crust is better than the dough knots. Waste of money. The pizza, however, was very enjoyable! Perfect crust and I loved it! Didn’t have packets of red pepper or Parmesan for to go orders but the nice worker made to go ones for me. Overall, I liked the pizza & wasted my money on the dough knots. I would come back here but seeing as I’m only in Quincy for 2 more months, I probably won’t because I’ll want to try other places.
