This has been my go to place for meat ever since i moved to Boston. The meat is fresh, cooks in no time and tastes delicious. Kudos to the women who run this little grocery. And of course did i mention that they cut meat in front of you. Things to consider before going to this place — Give them a call and inform them ahead of how much you need. — typically the meat quantity may vary and they will inform you that it might be a half pound more or less. So don’t panic. It happens with me all the time but the quality is what i personally prefer and being from sub-continent i cant compromise on the taste. So Mina halal’s meat serves my purpose for the weekend treats :).

I respect lady who sell meat. But i want to write review experience i got at this store. I have been to this store 3 times before but always felt she lacks customer service and treating them well Asked 3 lbs of goat meat, she gave 3.5 lbs of her own(1.5 lb at 7.99 and another 2 lbs at 8.99) and i just paid bill 29.80 $ came out without knowing that she gave more I called and asked why i got this much bill then she explained above information. I said its not about money but you need to inform if you are giving more or at least you should let me know because i am paying from my pocket, its my right . She just hung up call on me and next time i called she said you did not purchase gold its just meat and very careless and rude in her reply. At Least i expected sorry next time I will not repeat my mistake . If she is not customer friendly and you feel same and agree with me stop going to this store … Customer is important for any business i believe she dont believe

Great place for Indian and Pakistan groceries plus they also have halal meat. Shop is kinda difficult to spot since it’s on a weird corner, but def worth visiting. Owner is great and extremely helpful. Prices are a bit high but the quality makes up for it.

Lovely ladies who are very helpful and go out of their way to help you. Although they didn’t have what I was looking for, she was very accommodating. I will be coming here again.

Consistently delicious and fresh meat with a great variety of products within a small store. What makes this store unique from other Desi markets is the two sisters who run it. They are extremely conscientious and genuinely care about their customers. They go out of their way to make sure you are completely satisfied with your purchases and have plenty of helpful advice if you’re looking to try out a new recipe. I have nothing except for good things to say about this business. Coming here feels more like going to visit my aunts and uncles back in the motherland than going to a grocery store.

The wonderful lady who works there has always been nothing more than helpful and accommodating whenever i have visited. I moved to Boston about 2 years ago and was looking for a good place to buy spices and i found her small shop in Quincy randomly one day when on my way to a Walmart. Unlike Walmart she makes sure i found everything i wanted to prepare an indian dinner that evening. I now always go to her shop to get all my spices and whenever i need a whole chicken cut up for any dish. She has a great selection of frozen foods and an interesting and tasty green soda called ‘Pakola’ which is kind of like cream soda. This place has great basmati rice in large bags so you wont run out and a great selection of frozen naan and pita bread if you want to try to make the whole meal at home.

Firdous, the sole operator of that store, is a sweetheart. Among many other groceries, the store has a good variety of spices and meats. Also, if people are into hookahs, she has a TON of choices, including shisha. But most of all, she makes(in my opinion) by far the best tasting samosas I have ever had. Meat and chicken. THE best! The only caveat is you’d have to call in advance for her to make them for you. I recommend that little corner store for a good Indian/Middle Eastern grocery variety.
