Great food! I love taking the family here for dinner. Best Mexican food in the area.

Love the green salsa they give with chips. Also I have been very delighted eating the crab chile relleno, seafood burro, southwestern shrimp burro, shrimp and mango quesadilla, and the pollo fundido both chicken and seafood.

Another restaurant I found through Unilocal. My fiancé is really into Mexican food but we live in the Boonies so I didn’t feel like driving all the way to the closest Rubio’s and I thought this place sounded good plus it was happy hour. When you walk in, you’re greeted by the busy staff and told to sit yourself, we choose the only booth not yet occupied and my side had a big tear in the seat that made it uncomfortable to sit in my shorts but I just sat a little to the side and made due. Food: You’re given a basket of chip and three different salsas, none of which I was too crazy about. I ordered the seafood chimi with the spinach cheese sauce on the side which I wished I had just gotten on my chimi because it really cut the sweetness. The seafood was just shrimp(little ones, like salad shrimp) with rice and a very sweet mango salsa. I was into it at first and then not so much, it really needed the cheese sauce. It was served with rice and beans which I ate up right away. My fiancé ordered some carne flautas. I have no idea what they were but she liked them. Drinks: My fiancé and I each ordered a frozen strawberry margarita, no salt on the rim, and they still tasted a little salty. They were pretty huge though especially for the price. Not too much alcohol but enough that you could get a small, tiny, buzz. I put some sweet and low in mine to make it taste a little better and it did but I end up drinking both margaritas and I was feeling pretty alright when I left, it was a challenge getting through them though. Overall, I had a good time. The service was attentive however I did feel a little rushed towards the end as more people began to come in and they aren’t many seats which is why I pretty much chugged my drink. I’d probably go back but after I tried more Mexican place in the area.

We enjoy going to Morenos. Food is always good and my favorite is the Fiesta Taco for lunch. Sometimes there is a long wait but the atmosphere is nice!

Great place for lunch, dinner, dine in, or takeout! I’ve been here a few times, and the service is consistently great, as is the food! Today I had the taco salad with shredded beef. So good! Mom had the Gekko salad with steak. I was totally obsessed with the dressing that came with her salad. All three accompaniments of the chips were delicious. Didn’t get our server’s name; she was tall with long dark braided hair. She was absolutely great. So friendly and hospitable. I can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in town.

The food is great. The staff is terrible. Not friendly at all. Under trained and lousy customer service skills. Teach your employees the basics. It will make people want come back if they aren’t so rude and learn how to smile.

Good food, but they Nickel and dime you for every little thing. Most restaurants give you unlimited free chips, Moreno’s only gives you one basket and you have to pay for more

Best feeling in the world to feel welcomed when entering a restaurant — plus the fact their food is amazing.

The encha burrito with green chile was so freaking good. Definitely big enough for two.

Little hole in the wall Mexican place that you’d never know about unless you live out here. And it’s busy literally every time we go so service is hit or miss, but the food is always on point. Especially the fajitas… Overall it’s a solid 8.

I love Morenos! I have lived in Arizona my whole life and in San Tan Valley since 2006. This is the best Mexican food around, their seafood infused menu just makes me hungry writing about it! Try the Sonoran Hot Dogs too! Thanks, Jared

I’ve gone back 3 times since being here 12 days. I’ve tried the rest of the local fare, and this is the best around locally. I’m not saying it’s the best I’ve had, but it’s good. The rest is worse. Some of the waitresses are real hustlers, like the pretty black girl and the thinner Mexican girl. They really turn on the blasters to serve you. The place is pretty hoppin, so, there wait staff really hustles. They need a bigger restaurant.

1st time for everything! Chips, salsa, bean dip are great. Sadly… this is the only place I’ve ever been to that will charge extra for a measly basket of chips. So here we are with leftover salsa and dip waiting for our food to come out. Had to convince my wife not to walk out. This place could do better and at least fall in line with every other Mexican restaurant and keep the chips coming while they cook our food.

First time eating at Moreno’s Mexican grill, and I have to say I will certainly come back. It’s a toss up as to what was better. The customer service or the shrimp chille relleno! Myrna was our server and her personality and attentiveness did not go unnoticed.

So incredibly happy that my husband and I found Moreno’s! Hands down the best Mexican food in the East valley. If you live in the Queen Creek area or Gilbert for that matter, it is totally worth the drive.

The whole family loves this place. The bean dip and green salsa brought to the table are fabulous, my husbands favorite is the loaded nachos, which are a great deal during happy hour. I LOVE their crab chili rellano, the sauce on it is to die for! The seafood burrito is another favorite. My kids love the carne asada burritos. Excellent margaritas too. Friendly staff, always busy but worth the wait. Seat yourself.

Food is meh. Service is mediocre and the place is clean. It’s just a smidgen better than filibertos, I guess the only difference is they serve alcohol. The tortilla around my burrito was so dry it was like chalk in my mouth. Cheese in the quesadilla was old tasting and had already hardened by the time I got it.

Stopped in for a late lunch today and everything was pretty spot on. I tend to give most Mexican restaurants three stars because they’re pretty much all the same and pretty average. What I do look for is great service, great chips and salsa, and great chicken tortilla soup. Today, all of those were met. Our server was on top of it – very helpful and friendly. The red salsa was just ok, but the green salsa and bean dip were delicious and the chips were light, crispy, and warm. I ordered two street tacos that were pretty plain with not much flavor, but I added some salsa and that did the trick. The chicken tortilla soup wasn’t the best I’ve ever had but was pretty darn good. Overall, it was a pretty good lunch and I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

We love Morenos and have eaten at 3 of their locations and have been eating at their spots for 10 years. Good food for a good price! The owner and staff are all friendly!
