Good owners, very good Phở(best in puyallup) and always good/quick service. I always get chicken phở and the meat is great(since I prefer chicken breast)! Good portion size and plenty of side condiments. Not a super lively atmosphere inside, but quiet and cozy.

**WARNING:PANDAMEATNOLONGERORNEVERWASAVAILABLE** I mean, what the heck?! I came here expecting some Phở with authentic Panda meat, and possibly some Panda tendon. I even gave her the«show me what you are selling in the back» look… Talk about false advertising! Say la vee. So anyways, I just ordered the Phở combo with normal tendon. In order to fully review their legitimacy I also ordered fresh spring rolls, they come in pairs only for about $ 3.50. This is another one of those places I just felt obligated to try and review for my Unilocalers out there, I am so good to you guys! I have to admit, it was kind creepy driving up here at night as its in a very isolated dark and deserted strip mall. As I walked in I was greeted by a lovely lady. After talking to her for a little bit she took my order. She must be Scotty Nguyen’s mom, she kept calling me baby, and say baby after everything she said. I got my order to go and she said«OK baby, your order will be ready in 10 minutes baby» So I waited and enjoyed a little Asian soap opera since it was on their flat screen TVs. I also got to keep an eye on another gentleman there, I could have swore he was about to have a heart attack. After closer inspection he was just really into his soup, that was probably too spicy for him, I am judging this based on the sweat dripping from his face into his soup and his different octave grunts. I got my order and drove home with my car smelling like a Hanoi marketplace. The food was pretty average, the tendon was a huge let down. It was shaved very thin? This was the first time I had it like this. The best part about the tendon is the pastey chewiness, I mean, when I eat it I want to know I am chomping down on some righteous fibrous connective tissue(sounds gross? Its an Asian thing) The broth was pretty lazy to me. It did not have that depth of flavor that I am used to. Tasted like the absence of actual broth cooked in bones with star anise. However, it was not all that bad. Why the 2 stars? Simply because; meh, I have experienced better. It actually gets a 2.5 stars since it is in Puyallup. So if its panda meat you are looking for than my suggestion is that you get it from the black market in Hong Kong like us other normal people.

I read Unilocal all the time to decide wether or not a restaurant is up to par for our visit, and I have now decided to help others as they have helped me through out are eating endeavors. I have chosen to write about Phở Panda as my first Unilocal review not only because I just ate there last night, but it is probably the best phở spot that I have ever eaten at in the Puget Sound. Phở is a family favorite for us and myself, so we have eaten at many different spots to see how they differ. Panda phở has by far killed the competition across the board w/the quality of the soup, their should be award winning spring rolls, and their great customer service. I am greeted imediatly as I walk in the door with genuine smiles every time I walk through the door, and they always know exactly what we are going to order but they even make sure to ask if we want the usual just in case we are feeling frisk that day. The price is always right, you always leave full, and the quality is there every single time. I love Panda Phở, and if you choose to go here you will as well!

Phở Panda makes tasty phở soup! The restaurant is kid friendly, and our food arrived very quickly. The premises were clean and the server was very friendly. After the initial service, we were never asked if we needed anything else though. Cost was low for the ammount of food that was provided. We will go again.

I may not be the best person to review this place, because almost all I ever get are the fresh spring rolls. They’re perfect as a take-out lunch! I can tell you that the spring rolls are EXCELLENT! Tasty and quickly, expertly and freshly made when you order them, the staff are friendly and helpful too, and they always remember my order! I’m vegetarian, so they are quite happy to do a «custom order» with tofu in the fresh rolls, otherwise there aren’t a lot of clearly vegetarian options on the menu without making substitutions here and there. The Bubble Tea is very good too, there aren’t many places in Pierce County that sell it.

I’ve been to this small, family-owned business a number of times and my experience has always been very pleasant. The owner remembers my name and order, and the food is always tasty. The restaurant is clean, service has always been courteous, and speed and price are reasonable.

I was a little leery of eating at a place with Panda in the title. I was kinda afraid that there might be some person in a stuffed animal costume wandering around between the tables. We had the standard spring rolls and phở. Not the tastiest phở in the city. Not the tastiest spring rolls in the city. Had some funky tasting tea, too. And, considering it was pretty empty, service was slow. When’s the last time it took almost an hour to eat a bowl of phở? But, I bet I’ll be back, because phở pickin’s be pretty slim out here. I’m a captive phostage.
