I wasn’t impressed with this place the first time I ate there. We went for lunch wasn’t good. We came back a little while later with some encouragement from some locals for breakfast, and wow totally surprised! breakfast burrito is the bomb Chuck full with bacon or chorizo, eggs and potatoes and cooked perfectly smothered in green chili and cheddar cheese. So for a breakfast burrito hit the Hanger you won’t be disappointed.

Service took an hour and fifteen minutes just to get some pancakes and eggs out. The owner came out and was not helpful at all, she kept giving us excuses for the poor service instead of apologizing and trying to make it better. One order was incorrect when it came out and had to be sent back. Food was average. Not worth the wait. Our waitress was accommodating and gave us a free cinnamon roll, she was the highlight of our visit. Wouldn’t go back.

ATMOSPHERE: Quaint and homey feelings, I almost thought the directions weren’t right because we went through a neighborhood to get here. They put our party of 7 in the back room which was okay. SERVICE: Terrible. The waitress continued to apologize because they were«slammed» in the kitchen with the other 20 people in the restaurant. She was nice, but it was no excuse or compensation for over an hour wait for a small restaurant. We waited over an hour for food. We felt bad for the waitress because we could clearly see that she was doing her best and extremely frustrated too. The owner came out and attempted to help us understand that it was Father’s Day and they have a very small kitchen. It was difficult to sympathize because the a couple that sat down at least 30 minutes after us were served at the same time. The owner’s tone shifted I think after the initial conversation with us and attempted to rectify any and all issues. FOOD: I ordered the corned beef and hash. It was great and everyone enjoyed their orders, but again I think the service ruined any hope for a positive experience and instead created slight resentment. PRICE: The price was good for quality, but it was not worth the wait. Go Again?: No, end of story. I am not a local, so this is not a place I would suggest to my friends. It is unfortunate because the food was good; however, we thought we were making a quick breakfast stop on our way back to Colorado Springs and it clearly was not quick or convenient.

I had to go home and shower the greasy kitchen smell off. The salad had the stem piece left in it. The pasta was overlooked and gloopy. The rolls were microwaved. I was scared to see what the bathroom may be like. Disgusting.

We come here every Sunday for brunch, and they treat us like family. DOREEN makes the absolute best bloody mary in the entire world. It’s the perfect start to a Sunday.

Boy, this place is hard to find… but worth it! It is a nice, calm, cozy spot. We came for breakfast, but they don’t serve it all day(which I wish they did), so we had lunch instead. I had French dip and the girl had open faced roast beef with gravy. The roast beef was excellent. Overall, the experience was good, but not spectacular. I dock one star for lack of breakfast options after 10:30 am. I will be back to try the breakfast menu.

Greasy spoon is an apt description for this diner/bar. I had the 2 egg breakfast And my sister had a half order of biscuits and gravy. The half order covered the plate! And came with hash browns. Not sure what they use for oil but I suspect it was lard. Hash browns were pretty heavily saturated. Pretty standard breakfast fare and reasonably priced but don’t expect a «healthy» option.

Located in a dive bar, breakfast had a bit of «Cheers» environment with the locals coming in and gossiping. I give them four stars for the unusual mix of Authentic Americana dive bar and greasy spoon. Nice American style breakfast.

What a pleasant surprise! A little rough exterior hides this gem. The owner is redoing the furniture and trim in Beetle kill pine locally sourced and crafted and its gorgeous. The service was remarkable, attentive and informative. We ordered Prime Rib which I’m very picky about and Robert, the chef/cook hit it out of the park, very flavorful, evenly but not overtly marbled and a generous portion cooked to perfection. I’ll be back!

I feel like we’ve been duped. The coffee was so weak it gave me an instant headache. I ordered the biscuits and gravy. They brought me a plate so buried in gravy that I knew instantly they were hiding something… Refrigerated canned biscuits. The gravy was ok, I guess. I did leave 2 stars because the 2 people I came with really enjoyed their meals: the steak and eggs, and the tejones. But seriously… BADCOFFEE. I won’t be back for breakfast… I am interested in maybe trying dinner though.

Was surprised that this place won: best breakfast in Pueblo” in 2014. I always thought it was a dive bar, but the food is anything but that. Had the all American breakfast and it was absolutely delish. And you can get it with a pancake instead of toast. Food taste homemade. And they have the best sausage gravy in the 719 area code.

After I was extremely disappointed with one of my favorite steak restaurants in Pueblo, I decided to try the hangar! The place is nothing to look at inside. I hasn’t been updated since 1960 and the booths look like they came straight from Taco Bell, but the food is absolutely fantastic. I had the filet mignon and it was the best steak I’ve had in Pueblo. They also make their own homemade soups. The portion sizes are huge so don’t expect to go home hungry.

Good Morning! It definitely is at The Hangar! The staff couldn’t be more welcoming! The waitress made me smile as she mistook me for a Derby Girl(always had a secret desire to try my hand at that as I m nearly 6ft tall). I sat at a booth an although its dimly lite and has a bar, there is also some outside seating a small dinning room. Tthe food was good. I had Tejones with hash browns and coffee. They were perfectly cooked. The owner and cook took the time to check on me… Reminded me of home upstate NY where I d get brkfst at the local diner. Oh and almost forgot you totally can get one of those delish Bloody Marys. Seems there really talented at the bar. If your looking for home cooking and warm folk You’ve found um here at The Hangar in Pueblo CO
