Good food, the sloppers are actually pretty tasty. Rock bottom prices on happy hour draft beer. Very much a bar, with space reserved for hungry patrons. Service was good, with fast friendly staff. Clean. Not classy, kinda divey, very much Pueblo. I would come back.

I don’t care what food critics say about coors Tavern has the best sloppers ever and homemade fries not frozen. Even though they came in second place against the sunset I still think coors is the best. Quite honestly whoever was tasting the hamburger didn’t have a really good pallet because anybody who’s anybody in Pueblo knows that Coors tavern is number one. We get our hamburger smothered with chili onions and cheese and put the French fries right on top. So good

Since we’ve moved to Pueblo a All we hear about is you have to go to Coors to get the slopper, try the slopper ‚.on and on and on about this slopper. Well we went. Green chili had a mild flavor and was not hot. The burger had good flavor but the bun all soggy just not my thing. The bar was Kinda dirty and service was ok. Over all not impressed.

Coors vs. Sunset… hummm… hands down Coors for sloppers! We’re from California, and every year my kids and I go out of our way to eat at this local place!

Grays came to our attention as having the best Slopper(an open faced burger smothered in Chili) in Pueblo. Let’s get to the bottom line… The chili is mostly flavorless, very liquidy and generally lacking taste. Given that it is the core component of the signature dish, we left disappointed…

Didn’t eat anything because unless I’m in Southeast Asia, I make it a rule to not eat food where there are flys everywhere. Sitting at the bar, trying to enjoy a cold beer I was constantly swatting away the more than 9 flies that were buzzing about. Kind of ruined it for me. Flies go where it’s dirty — draw your own conclusions. Would be 1 star but gave it 2 out of respect for history. Won’t be back.

Must do, must try! I am so happy I had my first slopper experience at Gray’s. The food was great, the drinks were plentiful. If I must be honest the booth was uncomfortable and the music was so-so but that all fell by the wayside when the food arrived.

I’ll never forget this place! My best friend and I were in the midst of riding our bicycles from San Francisco to Virginia Beach, we first heard of this place when we were on top of the Rockies, literally. We ran into another cyclist doing the same thing we were but he was heading the opposite direction. The only advice he gave us was the recommendation to stop at greys and get the slopper. We had to ride for days, hundreds of miles, thousands of calories burned, all while day dreaming of what this Greys Coors tavern is going to be like. It was torture. When we rolled into town it was our first place to stop. The service was amazing! One of the bartenders even offered us a place to sleep haha. The Slopper was truly amazing and lives up to its reputation. Still to this day I sit here and day dream about it. Don’t judge a book by its cover ;) because it’s not pretty. This is a must if you are in the area

When you’re drinking from a huge Frozen Schooner, it doesn’t matter what kind of beer fills it… It’s incredible. Slopper, cheese and onions, half-basket of fries, that’s a meal you can only get here, and it’s one of the best meals you’ll ever have. I grew up in Pueblo — If you’re visiting, this place is mandatory. Pueblo has an abundance of great regional /cultural food. I would rank this as the number one«don’t miss.»
