Not sure what to expect in Pueblo on Saturday night I decided to call in to Shorty’s for a Saturday night beer. It had a great looking bar and ample seating. The beers were cold, although only in bottle form. Will be back again.

Went here for breakfast Sunday morning. One waitress tending the bar and five table’s. Had to ask for silverware. Had to ask for coffee refills. Food took 45 minutes to get to our table and strived to be mediocre. I think this would be a great place to open a restaurant. As is even one star is too many.

Why the hell does this bar not have beer on tap?! Came for lunch with two coworkers. Food was good for pueblo. Nothing to write home about but at least they have veggie burgers. Service is okay.

The bloody mary is by far the best I’ve ever had! It was an adult dessert. Service was excellent. Drove from Sprimgs to check it out. It was definitely worth it! A must try!

Sunday Fundayed(is that a verb? Can I make it one?) with a good friend here several times. Sunday evenings are usually pretty slow, but the food is on point and the service at the bar is outstanding. My friend and I have both been bartenders and so, on a whim, we asked the bartender if there were any drinks he loved to make. We weren’t expecting him to pour us some of the best mint Juleps either of us had ever had. It was a little slice of Derby on a cold, dreary Pueblo evening. If the rather handsome brotender is working, make sure to ask for one! Keep on rockin’ in the free world, Shorty’s.

Been here a few times and I have never been disappointed! The menu is surprisingly vast. They have everything from wings, burgers and wraps to soups salads and sirloins! The hot wings were fantastic! The best in town in my opinion. I’ve also had the chicken wrap which was good. The drinks are cheap and there is a large variety of cocktail and beer options available. They also serve breakfast! They have a huge menu as well including eggs Benedict and corn beef hash.

Went there for lunch today. Well tried to go there for lunch. Sat down and waited for 15 mins. No service. Got up and left. They need new staff. The usual guy who is awesome I don’t think was there.

Was planning on going to a sushi bar down the street that was closed, then decided to stop by in here. First thing I notice is that it isn’t super packed, the game is on some televisions, and the bar is fully stocked! There wasn’t any beer for on tap, but they had a bunch of random beers offered. Many Colorado local brewery beers. They had a wide selection of Sutter Home wines and lots of different bottles of alcohol. The menu offers a variety of appetizers, soups and salads, burgers for about $ 8 each, steaks, and sandwich dishes. It isn’t marked on their menu, but they definitely offer black bean soy burgers. I ordered the Pueblo burger with the soy patty. The sides include hand cut fries, beer battered fries, soup, or salad for the same price and an upgrade of sweet potato fries or onion rings. I ordered the beer battered fries. There buns come on rye, corn dust, and ciabatta bread which I choose. The patty was falling apart a little which I think some people would hate, but I really liked. Showed just how juicy it was(not like the usual dry soy burgers). It was pretty spicy for me, I do not do spicy well but it was awesome! The beer battered fries gave a nice twist to normal fries and gave it a new flavor. I only paid eight bucks, but paying more like twelve would not have bothered me at all. Not sure if they always offer this on Sunday, but they had bogo Bloody Mary’s, so $ 8.50 for two huge drinks that were garnished to the extreme! Our waiter/bartender was awesome. Not only was he awesome eye candy, but he was extremely helpful. I chug water and he kept filling it up, he informed us about the soy burgers, and he made sure to check up on us. I wish I got his name for Unilocal, but I did not. If you are looking for a place to watch the game or grab a quality cheap meal then stop by here!
