Motel 6

Even though they’re remodeling and getting new things. It is still a Terrible place to bring your children. Please if you have kids or are a woman do not choose this place to stay at.

Maid stole my shoes. Front desk hung up on me when I called to report the incident. Will be filing a claim with BBB. Stay away.

Eh, it’s a cheap hotel room. Mostly clean, but stinks of dog, sweat, and cigarettes. The light was out in the shower, and the tv remote didn’t work. But the maintenance guy Tony fixed those problems right away. I was disappointed to see that the dryers in the laundry room were broken. I had packed planning to do laundry during my stay. Hopefully the new dryers will be installed by the time I need to wash my clothes.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. The room was filthy (including hair on bathroom floor and shower), dirty bed linens, and cigarette burns in the non-​smoking room. Even the plug in room deodorizer I bought couldn’t disguise the disgusting room smell. The carpet was covered in grease spots. Why not move to another place? It was car show weekend so EVERYTHING else was booked. No matter how desperate you are, DON’T stay here.

Nonsmoking room reeked of smoke. Tv is old tube style, and doesn’t have many channels. Room was relatively clean, shower was awesome. If you have any other option, I would pick it over this motel — slightly better than sleeping in your car.

When I called to make the reservation, I asked specifically for the price with taxes and the reservation specialist told me the price she quoted included taxes. Then I get to the location and am told that my price is almost $ 10 more. Then I was told I could get a «lesser» room for still more than either of the prices I was quoted. Being that it was almost 10 o’clock at night, I didn’t really have the option to go looking around, so I paid it. When we got to the room, the pillows were extremely flat. We called the front desk and were told that since the housekeeping had gone home for the night, there was no way to get some extra pillows. Then, the deadbolt wouldn’t unlock so we could close the door, and the front desk told us to use the key to unlock it and then try again. The final straw was when we were outside the room having a cigarette, and a cop was ticketing a car right in front of our door. He was nice enough to tell us that this motel was one of 4 or 5 in the area that you should never stay at because they are known drug locations. I called their customer service line about these issues when we came home and was told that she was very sorry about our stay and would pass on the info to the location. This is obviously a very unsatisfying response, because this cannot be the first time this has happened and yet nothing seems to be done.

This motel was absolutely disgusting and the non smoking room reaked of smoke! To top it off the Front Desk clerk, who was clueless, told me that they would be e-​mailing me a survey and could I give her all 10s because she really needed them. This management team/​owner should be put out of business! This has to be the worst Motel 6 EVER!

yes, they allow pets.
yes, they’ve installed new showers.
yes, it is so close to I-​25 that the noise will keep you awake all night.
yes, the walls are so thin that you can smell car exhaust and cigarette smoke through them.
yes, they charge extra for wi-​fi.
yes, you have to look elsewhere for breakfast.
yes, bring your own shampoo and soap.
no. don’t stop.
keep driving. there are half a dozen other hotels w/​i ¼ mile.
by the time you’ve bought your own breakfast and PAID them to use their wi-​fi — you might as well go to a better hotel… what a rip-​off Motel 6 has become.
