Wingate By Wyndham

The staff was exceptional. They knew I got a room simply for the pool (bday party for a child) and they let us stay a little later than usual. They also let me check out an hour late so we could swim some more in the morning.
The room was very clean, and the layout was nice. The Wi-​Fi wasn’t half bad and they even had Ethernet ports to plug into if you need that.
The breakfast was very good and the choices were on par with other hotels I’ve stayed at. I highly recommend checking this place out. Only «downfall» was the size of the pool. It was nice, but I wish it was just a tad bit bigger. But still, it’s perfect for young kids and adults, and they have a great hot tub.
At the end of the day if you’re looking for an affordable hotel, that’s clean and has friendly staff and «roomy» rooms, you’ve found the right place.

As good as it gets for a bargain hotel. Clean. Very comfortable soft beds. Good hot breakfast. Here’s the best part: the shower water pressure was *outstanding* in my room!

Excellent rooms great price and friendly staff

The Wingate is a really nice hotel for the price. I had a large room with a king size bed that was really comfy. I didn’t like the pillows though, they were really big and not very soft. I wound up bunching up a blanket I had with me & using that & the decorative pillow instead. The TV was big and there were a lot of channels to choose from, which was a treat for me because we don’t have cable! The hot tub and pool were nice but there was a dead spider floating in the hot tub. I jumped out as soon as I saw it and ran for the pool. The breakfast was not that great. I ate yogurt, a bagel, and a hard boiled egg with juice and coffee. I didn’t get anything that was hot because it honestly looked pretty gross. I grabbed some fruit for the road. I recommend the Wingate for just that, a stop while on the road.

The rooms were large and comfortable. The bed was so-​so comfortable, I slept soundly. The pillows are large and firm, so if you like squishy pillows…
The room had a fridge and microwave as well, great for a longer stay.
This place is within walking distance and offered free parking, free breakfast, free wi-​fi and an indoor pool. Can’t ask for much more than that!
Breakfast was good with more than enough options and a huge selection of tea, The HOT expanded continental breakfast was fine. The walls are a bit thin in that I could hear the people in the next room & above us walking around and the small child next door screaming and jumping on the bed. But for under $ 100 I got pleasant service and a large breakfast
When we got to the room, the carpet was dirty but better than most hotels, FYI should steam rooms at least once a month.
Overall, the hotel is fine. The rooms are clean, AC works great, no problems with pests, fair-​good water pressure in the showers, etc, it’s a Wyndham after all, so you can’t really go wrong.

Nice hotel, not too expensive, I paid aroud $ 75.00 a night. Three day stay, the room had a nice flat screen, comfy bed, clean sheets, the a/​c worked well. The freebie breakfast was mediocre at best, however it was free. On the plus side about the breakfast, it open at 5am which was AWESOME! I would def. stay here again, makes me curious about other Wingate Hotels. That is bad for Holiday Inn.
