The young woman is horrible with service and very rude! Went to eat here specifically on reviews driving threw Pueblo and did measure up for sure! I am vegetarian and asked if the chili had meat? Server said no then brings me my plate with meat and says «it’s just a little» wtf?! Then she wants me to take the burrito with me and says you can give it to someone? Who the hell am Going to give it to?! Finally gives me the check for my kids burnt quesadilla and she charges me for my kid’s water cups and says I can take them with me! Like my four-​year-​old and 20-​month-​old need water cups in the car! Are you kidding me! Probably the worst service I’ve ever had anywhere.

I’m sorry, but it was very, very disappointing. I clearly ordered the wrong thing, as others seemed to be enjoying their tasty-​looking meals. My waiter, a very friendly fellow, strongly suggested one of their meat dishes, so I ordered the chuletas smothered in chile verde. They say on the menu that these are pork chops, but these were just awful pork steaks with so much fat and gristle and bone and chewy who-​knows-​what with no real flavor. And the verde was barely there, and really just tasted like mild chicken gravy. I’m so upset. This was my big meal out to sample Pueblo fare while in town, and it was just a big mistake. Even the bottom half of the chips were stale, suggesting they’re reusing chip baskets. I hope you have better luck. Two stars because the service was attentive. Wow.

When in Pueblo and craving authentic Mexican cuisine go to El Alamo! Good service, tasty dishes – I MEAN GET THE CHIMICHANGA WITH TOMATILLO SAUCE – You wont regret that one. Nice people, the chef comes out and greets you and it’s a very casual dining experience.

Gotta admit — I was skeptical about coming here, because their curb appeal isn’t great. But, after hearing a few good reviews from folks I trust, went for the first time. Awesome. Great food, big selection, good prices and super friendly. I wish it was less drafty on a cold night (thankfully that’s rare in Pueblo) — thus the 4 stars. Try the mole or tacos Mexicana. I’m looking forward to trying their breakfast.

The food here is really good and the service was great. They have a great lunch buffet, and the menu meal portions are generous [plenty to take home a snack for later :-) ] The restaurant was clean. Will definitely be visiting here again.
