Great Mexican food and this is from someone who lives in South Texas! Anything with the green chili sauce is my strong recommendation! My husband asked for the red sauce and also had nothing but good things to say. All of the staff was very accommodating and friendly. I even got a hug from the cook upon easily giving compliments on the food. I’m glad Mill Stop was closed and we had to be on to plan B. This is a definite «return-​to» stop on our Colorado trips!

The Name on Unilocal says Bev’s Bessemer Inn, but the locals know it as Auntie Bev’s. It’s run by Bev, who also cooks the food. This place is like home away from home. It’s not fancy, but Bev comes out and gives everyone a hug. Her mom, who is in her 80’s, is usually there with a story or two. The wait staff is also family – Bev’s daughter, sister & nieces all work there, and they remember you, which always makes me feel special.
If you want to try something different, try the breakfast sopapilla stuffed with scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, bacon, potatoes & cheese & order it with the red sauce! It’s become one of my comfort foods, & it’s so big, you can take it home for another meal.
