I absolutely love the Yogurtland location in Escondido (because it’s close to my house & the staff is always so friendly). But this is the one closer to my work in Poway so I decided to give it a try!
The young lady that helped me was so sweet and made my experience that much better. There were a couple of different flavors at this location so I got some sample cups to try those. It’s a smaller establishment than what I’m used to but I could careless, it wasn’t packed when I came anyways!

I always love the toppings! Get the loyalty card it’s totally worth it!

Nice location with good flavors & good toppings. Staff was great. Recommend the cranberry raspberry tart flavor.

My favorite thing about this place is that they close at 10. Just around the time where I want a late night snack. I usually get the toasted coconut but they change up some of the flavored so you’re not always going to want to get the same thing. I just got the pecan & pralines this time around. I get too many toppings so by the time I get to the yogurt it’s all melted so I put the toppings on the bottom and eat them last. I love the fresh fruit options, they even have fresh lychee. It’s a large space so you don’t feel weird eating inside. Definitely a must try.

The place is clean, yogurt is average, toppings are fine, met the owner once and he seems nice but STAY AWAY from this place. Have been to several yogurt shops in the area, Menchies, Tutti Frutti, In the Mix to name a few, and every time you enter these other stores you are greeted with a smile. There is a girl working at this location who is just plain nasty. I have seen her wear two different name tags, one was Peaches and the other is Coral. She makes you feel like she is doing you a favor by letting you purchase their yogurt. I have really never have seen someone this nasty working the register anywhere. Why would the owner want her as the face of his establishment.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but after the experience we had today, I will never return to this location again. I was taking my 2 young daughters out for an «end of the good school week» reward and the male employee that was working at 4pm ruined that for them. My girls were both well behaved and were not being loud or making a mess, and while I was putting the toppings on my oldest daughters fro-​yo, I could hear the employee raising his voice and berating my 3 year old daughter, over 1 dropped M&M. She was picking it up to put it in her dish after it fell off the spoon and he was literally scolding my sensitive child. She was upset and embarrassed after being yelled at by a stranger and when I was paying and asked him why he just raised his voice at my child, he said he had to «discipline the kids» that go there. No sir, you do not ever discipline anyone else’s child. If kids are yelling and making a mess, that is completely acceptable to say something. But in this case, you were out of line and because of that, you have lost a customer. Granted, I’m only 1 person. But if employees continue to treat children, families, anyone, like that, then you will be out of business soon. There are far too many fro-​yo places around to ever return to one where customers are treated so poorly. I used to enjoy this location and seeing my daughters be happy there, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. No employee ever has the right to speak to anyone, let alone a child, like that.

They discontinued my favorite chocolate sorbet. I can’t have dairy so am limited, do not care for the fruity kind :(so sad.

Great service. Amazing flavors. First time at this location. Would definitely come back.

Good yogurt. Expensive!!! Got two cups and $ 16.00+ later. They do not have rainbow sprinkles either.

Me and my family love this place. Nice reward system and the sorbet is always incredible. Rocket pop and the pineapple sorbet are INCREDIBLE! The trash cans outside tend to always be overflowing but staff is very friendly and well groomed. They always have typical flavors and a good mix of unique and a rotating schedule of flavors.

Had no idea Yogurtland came in to the middle of Poway, this is very exciting. They had indoor as well as outdoor seating. All of the fantastic choices and selections that a typical Yogurtland fan would appreciate. There’s tons of toppings to chose from as well. They are always giving out discounts with their rewards card, great strategy to keep us coming back for more.

I went to golden spoon and they are now closed. So I decided to give yogurt land a try. They have wonderful flavors and I am so glad that I went there. The staff is really friendly and I will be back

This is my favorite yogurt place in Poway. They always have new flavors, everything is delicious, the toppings are fresh, and the staff are nice. If you get their rewards card, you can get free yogurt, which is great because I know I will be coming here way too often.

i’m so happy that there’s a much closer Yogurtland by my home. Location is great, you’ll definitely find parking.
I’ve always been a fan of Yogurtland because I like that I get to put however much or whichever yogurt I want and same with toppings and then pay by weight.
Their yogurt is always yummy — plenty of selections to choose from and now for a limited of time they have the Around the world flavors going on – you get to try a specialty flavor from a country.
And I like their free water; always refreshing to see/​drink fresh water with fruits submerged in the water for flavorings

Free froyo with toppings from 11am to 7pm!
Everything tastes great, very clean store and great staff!

So when all the excitement of «something new in poway» is over the real reviews will pour in! So here you go; I like to eat at the Japanese restaurant next door that’s the reason we came here. yogurt land has the chain type vibe, you know … where the staff is kinda friendly but their knowledge on frozen yogurt is non existent, which is why they had no response to the question my 8 yr. Old had «why is the yogurt so runny and melted?» They gave no response, their faces seemed puzzled .
Their cheesecake yogurt had a funky cheese taste to it? I get it its cheesecake, but ive havent had it like thst! The taste had a very artificial taste to it. Even golden spoon has a better taste then that. But I’m sure people will go and love it cause its more about the chain then it is personal.
Next time when I asked my kids if they wanted frozen yogurt they yelled «in the mix!» Because the taste and the consistency of the yogurt is more frozen they said… I agree.
One thing I do like is the free water. I used to like yogurt land… actually when I first moved to Poway that’s what I was looking for when I came across «in the mix» you can read my review there, it’s still original from way back when… anyways!
Overall 1 star cause I like my frozen yogurt FROZEN so I’m sorry I won’t come back to this place as long as «in the mix» and «golden spoon» are minutes away. I prefer a place that’s more personal from the ground up more then the run of the mill type establishment.

Very cool that a Yogurtland opened in Poway. There’s slim pickings in general in the area so it’s always nice to see new businesses come in.
The store is located in the Petco shopping center. It’s a nice, very clean store with a good selection of flavors and toppings. The staff there is very nice and friendly. The price is what you would expect for froyo.
The only unfortunate part is that there isn’t a whole lot of seating both inside and out. The Italian place next door are table hogs even though they never have enough customers. Good thing that froyo is easy to take to go!
