In The Mix Yogurt

I love that they have dairy free pineapple and the topping selections were so unique! Hemp granola, waffle cone pieces, chocolate covered marshmallows… Amazing. I had the coconut and ube which were flavorful, creamy, and delicious. Also they have magic color changing spoons (epic), friendly staff, and outside seating. Will for sure come back if I’m in the area again.

Awesome yogurt. My 2^nd time here and I’m not disappointed. Try their peanut butter yogurt — Yummy!
It has a lot of variety — especially with toppings. Most toppings I’ve seen at a yogurt shop. They have outdoor and indoor seating.

Not a very big fan of frozen yogurt, but after coming here and seeing some of their unique flavors I might just have to start eating more! They have some cool flavors like Ube (purple-​yam; popular amongst Filipinos) and banana shake that I really liked. Plus they also had a very friendly employee named CJ, he really went and above beyond to accommodate to me and my friends’ needs. He recommended some flavors for us to try and helped us out with whatever they need. Overall, if you want some good yogurt and just hang out, this is a good place to go!

I came here a couple months ago, customer service was alright. Until, and I had put $ 5.00 in the tip jar and another employee comes in with one of his friends. I was enjoying my yogurt and to realize that the guys working there took the $ 5.00 out of the tip jar to pay for her yogurt. I just don’t think its right and professional. I am not sure if the owner just lets them do what ever they want with tips.

Love coming to this local hot spot. Their froyo is delicious and service is excellent as well. Neighborhood gem!

i wonder if any of the icecream or frozen yougurt place realize how many people are lactose intollerant. I would like to have mor lactose free option. the one they do have is mehh, not worth the stop. We are people too.

Our favorite yogurt in Poway. Flavors change often and they will call you when your favorite flavor is in.

Really good and reasonable price. Lots of ingredients to choose from. They also have many good flavors that you don’t normally find at places like this. One really good flavor that I have never heard of before was Ube. Hard to describe it though, just try it in a sample cup and I bet you will like it! Will definitely be going back as it is only 5 minutes from where I live.

Our family loves In the Mix! All the employees are super nice and always offer sample cups, which the kids love! We have tried a few other places but nothing compares!
We probably hit them up once a week and always look forward to new flavors to try.

Love, love, love this place. This is my new go to fro yo place in Poway. This unassuming store in the Vons shopping center will provide you with all of your mid afternoon, late afternoon, early evening fro yo needs. Lots of flavors to choose from, lots of toppings, and a price not to be beat. Don’t forget to get your card punched on the way out. It’s completely free, no signups or gimmicks, just free fro yo after 8 punches. What could be better?

Oh man, I love my froyo. A little pit-​stop after work and it always tends to hit the spot. I can have this stuff for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
There were two guys working the counter, currently cleaning as I was walking in… while busy, they greeted me! (that makes me happy, I love great customer service).
The flavors I got were delicious! And their cups are so cute!

My kiddos and I are frozen yogurt fans. This place delivers: self-​service, lots of flavors, great toppings (PEANUT BUTTER! WOOT!) and my babies’ fav: temperature color changing spoons. My son even took one and hooked it up as a «weather machine» and leaves it outside to watch it change colors with the morning. Frozen yogurt AND science. Who could ask for more?

I have been going here for years. We love the owners because they totally know everyone from the community. It is by far the best froyo place in Poway because of the sense of community you feel every time that you visit.

AMBIANCE: cute yogurt spot with a few tables to hang and eat. The yogurt dispensers are found along the wall and following that is the topping buffet (large selection) leads up to the scale. I went there recently again and they had a bunny kitten (local artist) painting and it was eating yogurt! haha Super clean and nicely air conditioned for hot days.
YOGURT/​TOPPINGS: seriously, one of the best i’ve tasted. better than Yogurtland i think! I normally default to plain tart but my favorite at In the Mix is the PINEAPPLE — O M G, totally tastes like Dole Whip! i normally add fresh strawberries, oreo’s, and condensed milk — YES i said condensed milk (there are not very many yogurt places that carry it). Speaking of great toppings they had Li Hing Mui which is the islander powder made from dried plum, basically a tart but sweet topping. I also like their COFFEE, SALTED CARAMEL, and PEANUT BUTTER flaves. if you like toppings, they got you — everything from cereal to candies crushed up, Asian mochi, and fresh fruit.
SERVICE: they are so sweet! Very nice folks and family owned. They definitely know the worth of customer service.

This is the only local family owned + operated frozen yogurt shop in town. Fantastic quality & unparalleled customer service. They treat me like an extended member of their family.
The owners are a couple and they are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. Everyone that comes here comes with a craving and leaves with a smile!

When the dude running the counter at Lapperts is being a little rude and they decide to close early three Sundays in a row without any notice to guests (especially relying on the hours posted on Unilocal,the door, etc.)… we decided it’s time to hunt down another location that has the all famous Dole Whip available for consumption. The chick running the counter at In the Mix on Sunday night was as polite as you could get. The place was definitely busy — but she still calmly and oh-​so-​politely stood in service to every customer that came in.
Yes. They do have dole pineapple soft serve. It’s been so long since I’ve had dole whip that I don’t know if it is in fact genuine dole whip — but it sure as hell does taste like it. They had a good selection of froyo and toppings. Prices seemed reasonable and they have places to sit.
Definitely plan on coming back here for our pineapple and froyo cravings. Highly recommended for a sweet end to your night.

The quality of their yogurt is delicious and rich in flavor compared to the other yogurt shops I have been to.
My favorite flavors consist of Ube, Salted Caramel, Banana Shake & Pistachio. Not to mention, my parents and my little puppies LOVE Ube. I know it sounds crazy, but they get very excited when I tell them I am bringing home some yogurt!
The shop is immaculate, and well-​maintained by the staff. The staff is always doing rounds cleaning-​up machine handles, counters, tables, floors, and the bathroom, etc. As a customer, I think that it is inevitable to judge the quality of the food based on the cleanliness of the place. Which is why I can definitely say that this is one the best yogurt places in San Diego!
Lastly, if you are unaware… They can actually put your stamp cards on file, as well as, being able to register you on a call list for when certain flavors become available!

This place has been rated one of the better self serve yogurt places in San Diego. It’s easy to see why, since their yogurt tastes amazing. I personally don’t care for ultra creamy yogurt, the texture of this frozen yogurt is spot on. I also really liked that they had base flavors like peanut Butter, vanilla and chocolate. I’ve noticed tons of yogurt places are getting too wild with their flavors, that they don’t stick to the basics. The topping selection isn’t as big as other places, but it carries most of the standard toppings you would expect. The price is also about the same across most places.
They keep the sample cups behind the counter, but are more than glad to give you as many as you want.
