I rarely review chain restaurants, but when I do, I do it for the locations that wow me. Until I tried this one, I had never tried Elevation Burger. I had never even heard of it before this one opened, and even then it took me years to step in the door until yesterday when I tried it for the first time. I was extremely impressed. Let me be perfectly clear, while delicious, their burgers are not remotely like a steakhouse burger, or even a typical diner burger. It was more like a Five-Guys burger, but with every part of that Five-Guys replaced with something distinctly better. How do I know? I went back the following day and ordered another(a single patty this time because the first one was kind of overwhelming). I then picked apart each component of the burger to better understand why it was so good. Even the lettuce seemed abnormally good. The french fries taste much better than they look. Ordinarily I strongly dislike matchstick french fries, but that’s because most places let them burn or dry out. These were done to perfection. Before departing, I inquired and it seems the fries are cooked in Olive Oil, which is a first for me. Before writing this review, I discussed my observations with someone employed very near the Elevation who had apparently tried the burgers and felt they were good but high in price. I feel he is mistaken. Sure if you buy the huge double-patty original burger, yes that is kind of expensive, but the entirely satisfying single-patty burger at $ 4.75 is practically a meal, particularly when served with fries. I know what I’m getting next time, and that’s what I got last time, the single patty burger with all the same toppings as the«original»(at the top of the burger menu). Technically all those toppings raise the price an additional 75 cents, but it is worth it.

Third visit, still delicious burgers and yummmm on the shoestring fries. While there is a 5 Guys in my backyard, I’ll drive a little more for an Elevation Burger. Organic, loose pack, cooked just right and choose your toppings as you like ‘em. I didn’t notice there is no bacon, but I didn’t want it anyway. Plenty of other tasty things to top off your sandwich. Since I got everything to go, half the fries were wolfed down before I hit my driveway. I had to save my burger for later. It reheated nicely. 5 Guys doesn’t seem as good as they were when they first opened in Rockville. Elevation makes a much better burger. Fries are good at both places. One star is missing due to a grumpy cashier. Maybe she was having a bad day. Poor dear. The fellow who gave me my food was a happy guy who offered me catsup and a cheery«Thank you and good bye». Very nice!

Just ate at this location. Service was good and staff very friendly. The burger was dry and tasteless. Fries where average. Five guys blows the doors off this place. Good try but will never make it.

Nothing extraordinary. Service is very slow, burgers are expensive and don’t come with fries. I paid $ 1.25 for guacamole and didn’t even got a spoon of it. I asked for mayonnaise I they gave me attitude. First and last time.

I first went to elevation burger when there was a location in Germantown and it was a pleasant experience. However, a lot has changed since then apparently. I went with a friend to order a couple of burgers. We each got the build it yourself with fries on the side. First red flag, was that our order was ready in less than 5 min. If these are made to order how did they make 2 patties that fast? So we receive our order and we look at the burgers and notice they have a grey color. Not sure why burgers are grey but giving it the benefit of the doubt… I went and took a bite and it was like biting into a piece of cardboard flavored tofu. The burger was cold and had absolutely no flavor. I took our orders up to the cashier and told him our burgers were grey and cold. He responded«that’s because they’re organic». Didn’t realize organic burgers were served cold… He went and retrieved the manager and I presented the grey cold burgers to him and he too replied that’s how organize burgers look/taste. At this point, I don’t want any more burgers, so I asked for a refund. He took the burgers and threw them away, and said«no refunds», and then walked into the back. Needless to say, he did not return. This was some of the worst customer service I have ever received. 1.) if you stand by your product, then why wouldn’t you refund a customer? 2.) even if your burgers are organic, they can still resemble a normal burger. 3.) I’m amazed that he took the burgers and didn’t refund any money… I would never recommend this place to anybody… this was the worst experience I have ever had at a burger chain… next time, just goto 5 guys or shake shack!!!

Love these HALAL burgers and their fries! You can choose your own toppings! They have milk shakes too! There are some table outside, so you can eat outside when the weather is great! The parking is not so good though, there’s only 6 spots that’s right in front of the restaurant.

Exactly what I expected: delicious burger! They don’t have bacon anymore. It took 5 – 7 minutes for my burger and fries. The restaurant is clean, there’s plenty of seating and there wasn’t a line at 12pm.

This review should be for 4.5 but I will leave the 5 stars for the really nice service. The beef is grass fed beef and the cheese is all natural. I was challenged to do an 8 or 10 patty burger. It was good and felt healthy even though it probably wasn’t. The fries are amazing and the shake hit the spot. I do remember when this location was a lot busier. I’m not complaining as I can get my food and sit down faster. I used to be a regular and since my last visit, wonder why I haven’t had lunch here more often.

Went here the other day for while I was in the area. The service was phenomenal and I tried there guacamole burger with a single patty and was very much impressed. On top of that they were very accommodating in replacing toppings as needed. Definitely recommend this place. Location is prime.

Sooo I was really craving a good burger for a while. Since my diet is limited because of kosher/halal meat burgers are not common. So Hubz surprised me with a good olé original burger from elevation. Now in the past elevation burger had a store in Germantown and omg it was terrible to me the food was so greasy and overpriced. So I gave it a shot again at this location and you know what it’s a good burger it ain’t no fuddruckers(back in the day guilty pleasure) but it gets you the fix now the fries lawwwd not impressed, since my husband is the potato officianado I had to get his input he was not a fan. They are not terrible but let’s just say I have a mental image of the perfect fries. I guess it’s worth it. I will be back though I am a fan on the low.

This is my favorite burger place, ever. As a lover of all types of burgers, I have to say they have one of the best veggie burgers I’ve had in my life. That’s not to say the beef one isn’t good – they offer the option of a «½ the guilt» burger, where you get one beef patty and one veggie patty. Sounds weird and ridiculous but it’s weirdly and ridiculously amazing. They also offer lettuce instead of buns, if you’re trying to be healthy. I try every once in awhile, and it’s actually a pretty reasonable substitute(though I make up the carbs and calories with fries). The fries are freshly cut, thin and crispy and delicious, and one of the options offers unlimited toppings and cheddar cheese(do it). If I’m feeling like splurging, other than the fries I’ll also get a shake. They have tons of options to customize your own and they use real fruit which makes a huge difference(chocolate oreo banana anyone?) Surprisingly, I never feel too awful after coming here either, possibly because they really do use genuinely good ingredients(grass-fed beef, organic veggies, olive oil…) I’ve been coming ever since they opened and I have just never been disappointed. Even the cookies they sell are good! The menu has expanded a lot since they first opened(they have salads and mandarin oranges now?) but the trifecta of burgers, fries, and shakes, are all I need and will ever need. I love you, Elevation Burger. Xoxo

Everyone has been talking about Elevation Burger. So, in DC-area and tried this one. Mistake. They have no bacon on their burgers… In fact, they said they’ve *never* had bacon at this location. Tables were dirty, cheese on burgers cold and not melted. Fries = soggy. Overall… will not be back.

The food was good but it’s a fast food place so the five stars has more to do with the service. Fadi was so attentive and really helpful in helping me(vegetarian) make the right choice for my lunch. He brought out ingredient lists and told me which sauces worked best. Great lunch!

Organic, gluten-free friendly, delicious, great service. The only critique I have is to cook the burgers to order, and not mess up toppings. I frequently am missing toppings that I ordered. Still tastes good though!

I visited Elevation Burger(5÷10÷15) first time. Ordered«Elevation Burger» & coffee shake. The eatery known for freshness-true this visit: fresh juicy beef patties, crisp lettuce, onion & mildly sharp cheddar cheese. Shake has creamy coffee flavor: thick too served w/a straw & spoon. Presentation front & center: burger served on matte gray metal tray(cool touch). Prompted courteous service. Elevations is also a sustainable company-donating waste olive oil for conversion into bio-diesel & using high post consumer paper products. I learned this reading the tray liner.

Went around lunch, not much of a line at all. I ordered the Elevation Burger, a side of fries and a drink which totaled around $ 11. The burger comes with two patties and you can fix the toppings to your liking. There are a few toppings at a cost, including cheese and mushrooms, and a couple dozen free toppings including caramelized onions their special Elevation Sauce. The fries are freshly cut, I saw one of the guys behind the counter making a fresh batch. Definitely tasty, none of that super greasy feeling you often get from burger joint fries. I still have the mindset that burgers should be a cheap food, so the $ 11 for the meal is still a bit much to me.

This is a decent burger joint. I wouldn’t say it excels particularly in anything, but it’s a good stop for burger, fries, and a drink. The location is at Potomac Park right next to Harris Teeter. You can probably catch a glance from 270 if you look hard enough. The ambiance is fun. It’s an uptempo burger joint scene… one I think you’d enjoy. The burger is fine. I got the elevation burger so there are two paddies. I got the elevation sauce on the side, which was good because it wasn’t my favorite. The fries are thinner, not quite show string but close. Pretty good 7⁄10. Overall, a good burger joint. I would probably pick a few more in the area over this one, though.

I wasn’t super impressed with my first visit to Elevation, but this past time I hit the order jackpot for my taste buds: an Elevation burger with caramelized onions and balsamic mustard. BOOM– delicious. The fries are shoestring implementations of Five Guys, and could possibly even be better; a shock, I know. In a nutshell, it’s probably as close as you’re going to come to In-N-Out on the east coast!

Grass-fed beef. French fries cooked to maddening perfection in olive oil. Milkshakes that combine coffee & Oreos. Mmmmmm. Fries! Yes! Rude… sometimes but clientele is equally as rude or just plain elitist. Customer service can be extremely patient considering that the customers can be a bit«I’m better than you» and all-around buckets of sunshine. Burgers are ok and not consistent… like sometimes the cheese isn’t melted… blecch. No more milkshakes(at least the last time we went)…boooo. Would I go for the burgers? Not exactly. But those fries are calling me for repeat visits!
