I am so glad I did NOT read the reviews before I went shopping today! My experience was amazing and I will be going back very soon. I HATE to shop, never love the way anything fits, and really detest sales people who tell me everything looks good. I had fun, yes FUN, shopping today at Emily Grace. Morgan and Kim helped me try on a lot of different styles that I have always been to afraid to try on, they were honest when something didn’t fit or looked bad, and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t love. I can’t say enough about Emily Grace — I’d recommend it to anyone. The clothes are great, the prices range from low to high so there is something for everyone, and they had a large selection of jeans, jackets, shirts, accessories and more!

The heavier set employee with curly hair asked me to set aside my umbrella on a rainy day. I placed it against the window and she knocked it down to the ground. My sister, who was with me, placed her umbrella on the ground. I guess that employee felt like her umbrella was it in the way and she kicked it away with her dirty shoes. Left a bad taste… I will not come back and would advise others to do so as well. FYI, it is always the same kind of style there… not much taste or creativity. You can buy a premium jean and a plain sweater anywhere. At least go to a place with more class and better rewards system(i.e., nordstrom, bloomindales, etc).

I was in the area and had some time to kill so I stopped in to check this shop out. When I walked in the door, I was greeted and asked if I needed help with anything. Being a thrifty spender these days, I wasn’t planning on actually buying anything since I immediately noted the steep prices. However, I figured with spring & summer around the corner, I could use a new pair of jeans and was willing to spoil myself. Typically, jean shopping is a nightmare for me but the staff grabbed a few styles for me to try on — all of which suited me and were flattering. I wasn’t prepared to shell out almost $ 200 for a pair of designer jeans; however, they fit well and I know they’ll last for years to come so I went for it. I want to say that I never got the«up & down» by the staff and I wasn’t pressured to buy. I think they did a good job at being helpful without being pushy. If I’d felt like they were selling too hard, I would’ve gone somewhere else. I can certainly empathize with my fellow reviewers; I’ve walked into high-end boutiques in the past and been ignored. Not only is it rude, but it’s just bad business. Maybe they’ve realized the importance of customer service and are trying to improve. What I didn’t like??? Their return policy = you’ll receive store credit, but you must return within 15 days. I think not! If I return something I paid full price for with the tags attached, I expect to receive a full refund.

My mom and I have been frequenting Emily Grace for years. I’m surprised to hear about the bad customer service, since we’ve always had a great experience. Morgan has excellent taste and knows how to put together a cute outfit. I don’t live in Maryland anymore, but whenever I visit I make a point to visit Emily Grace!

Amazing store! Great selection and staff. Morgan(personal shopper) has a great eye for fashion and knows how to put together the perfect outfit for my body type. At Emily Grace I find brands that I do not see elsewhere as well as great basics to round out my wardrobe.

I had a great experience while shopping at Emily Grace. I found my personal shopper, Morgan to be very professional and honest. I walked in there looking for a certain look and she helped me put the whole outfit together. I also have signed up on facebook to receive any notification of either sale or new items. The store has a unique quality of merchandise.

Why would anyone shop here. Extremely poor service. Not to mention most items can be bought other places.

I just didn’t enjoy the customer service here(Potomac Location, possibly a new location?). I felt like they sized me up the second I walked in the store and because I don’t wear designer labels, they just didn’t bother. Sorry, but if you’re sandwiched between a burger joint and a grocery store, I can’t take you too seriously. This was definitely the first place(and probably the last) in my life I’ve ever walked out of thinking, «I really, really want that business to fail.» I’m an avid supporter of Mom & Pop shops, small businesses and the underdog in general and this place really left a bad taste in my mouth.

This pricey high-end boutique has the most typical clothes. If I’m ever considering to purchase a $ 250 sweater with an un-heard brand name, this would be the place. Since I live close to the shops, I some times end up walking there in sweatpants and a hoodie. The sales lady was rather unwilling to help due to my appearance. Definitely expected better customer service from this kind of boutique
