Pretty ok hot dog. They claim to have Portland’s best hot dogs but I guess thats just their way of exercising free speech.

I was hoping for the same feeling of being brought back to growing up in NY but my sediments differ. Maybe I am too particular when it comes to my dogs but as much as I wanted to love this place; in the end we go our separate ways still hungry and with bored taste buds. The pricing is definitely good especially for the size of the dogs but ours were not cooked as I would cook a dog on the grill. It tasted like it was boiled and I personally don’t like my dogs that way and don’t want it to taste that way when I see the dude running to the grill to cook them. He was quick at slapping the dogs together so that was a plus but I wish it took longer so my dog was actually grilled so the outside has some crispness to it. The toppings were okay. I had a PDX dog add ‘kraut and the wife had a Michigan dog minus the onions. Mine could have used more onions, ‘kraut was just right. I would get this again if I were drunk and it was the only close food cart open. Otherwise I’m venturing off to try one of the other many trucks in the Rose City Food Park.

Brings me back to my childhood in New York! Stumbled across this place two weeks ago with my girlfriend, and we’ve already been back again. I’ve tried the Michigan Dog and Slaw dog, and they were both a hit. Good amount of flavor with the right toppings. Definitely grab some Rosemary Fries too, you won’t be disappointed.

Had myself a ‘Slaw dawg’ and wow was it delicious. It’s got their Michigan sauce on it, spicy chili goodness. Also, very friendly service. Highly recommend it!
