Had the falafel about a week ago. Both my husband and I were in heaven, it was so good, and I could stop eating until it was gone. So many flavors and such a perfect mix. I will be going back again…

I had a large to go order so I called ahead. They told me it would be 20 minutes and when I got there it was all ready for me. The guys at the cart were very friendly! I was not a big fan of the food… I got the falafel wrap. However, I have only had falafel once before so maybe I’m just not a falafel person! Everyone else that I got food for said that the falafel was some of the best they’ve ever had. After picking most of the falafel out of my wrap and adding some of their spicy sauce, I liked the wrap! The green spicy sauce is great and added so much more flavor to the bland wrap. Pita bread was fresh and soft and delicious. Hummus was great as well. I am giving them 4 stars even though I wasn’t a fan of what I got because the customer service and because everyone else in my group loved the falafel! I will definitely go back but I will stick to what I know I like; pita bread and hummus!

LOVE the gomasio salad with added harissa! The space is beautiful. Sadly the staff was in no rush despite having a backlog and a line

Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of beautiful Gorg salad – I had ordered it to go and they made a mistake in giving me the order on a plate and had to dump it into a box. Not very appetizing looking but tasted amazing. I added the Falafel to the order and it came with two pieces on top of the salad. I am digging this combination of flavors! The saltiness of the Gorgonzola crumbles with the sweetness of the caramelized walnuts, raisins, red peppers, shredded beet and carrot on mixed greens with a tangy house balsamic vinaigrette. Only thing I didn’t care for was the bite from the red onion and picked it out. The herb tahini sauce complimented the Falafel, which were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It makes you want to eat more salad.

This is the best falafel in Portland, hands down. I always get the Olea with falafel instead of eggplant and it is my favorite lunch EVER. So flavorful and the textures are perfect and the falafel is so fresh! Also everyone that works there is incredibly friendly and deals with being obnoxious and making substitutions!!! Also the pickles are the best ever!!!

Great stuff… I had the Sabich(Iraqi-Jewish traditional breakfast) and was blown away… fresh ingredients, tons of well-balanced flavor. Served with a nice side of olives, pepper, and pickles. Great hot sauce(green and I don’t remember the name of it… sorry folks). Perfect service in a nice setting, will be back to try another wrap soon.

Super delicious and very filling food. I’m not sure I like the kombucha they serve and sometimes I’ve waited quite a while for food, but it’s a solid food truck choice.

Falafel was solid! The outdoor seating with all the vendors around is super cute. Would definitely drop by again.

Best falafel I’ve had so far. Usually there are tons of food trucks in portland area so it was hard to choose one, but what drew me here was the personable touch of the area itself. There were fresh flowers on the table and truck and each falafel was served with a side of pickled vegetables. The falafel was very fresh and the sauce that came along with it was highly addicting. I definitely recommend this place when you’re deciding from the tons of food trucks around. Kept me full from noon to late into the evening!

I’m pretty sure I’m anemic so it’s silly that I wanted to sit outside in the cold during February, but I had been meaning to try this cart out. For my first visit to the cart(but not the last) I tried the falafel wrap. Since I ordered it to eat at the food cart, the cart chef gave me a bag of olives, a pickle, and pickled banana pepper. Then, he motioned toward the amazing hot sauce, which I dutifully took to the table and added to my wrap by the squeezeful. Overall, It was pretty tasty and the vegetables were fresh, but I have had better falafel. The falafel got a bit soggy and the flavor didn’t pop as much as I would hope. The tahini was the real kicker on this wrap as it provided a major flavor note. I would not recommend trying the falafel wrap on your first trip there. When I return, I think I’ll try something else.

Y’all. Best food cart I’ve tried in Portland so far. They aren’t always open during the hours on their website(I’m guessing they open around 12:00 on Sundays, although their website says 11:00 or 11:30) but it’s worth the wait for them to open, even if it’s cold and rainy. I’ve tried both wraps and GF plates and both are delish. I don’t know how they do it. Go there. Be happy.

It was raining lightly, I had just finished a nice session of yoga, and the city was as fresh and green as it gets. Wolf & Bear’s seemed like a cool place to try out close by. I tried the Olea Wrap, and boy, did it blow my mind away! The roasted eggplant, caramelized goat cheese and harissa in my wrap all blended in together to create a near-religious experience for me. The guy at the cart was really nice and gave me extra sauces and pickles for no charge. Extremely filling for a lunch, savoury enough for a rainy day and worth the price. I’m going to keep coming back, because there’s no way I can roast eggplant this well. Highly, highly recommended.

I went here after seeing the Fred Armisen episode of «Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,» and it was absolutely fantastic. Even though it was 28 degrees outside, my girlfriend and I read each other trivial pursuit cards out loud and ate the falafel with gloves on. The eggplant was perfect, and the flavors were just salty enough without being overpowering. Not greasy at all. I felt like skipping afterwards.

The falafel was very tasty, but the actual falafel balls had an extremely mushy texture. One of my favorite parts of falafel is the crunch and gritty texture. These had the mushy texture of mashed potatoes. The tahini sauce added good flavor and addition of caramelized onions really set it off. Warning — this is not a traditional falafel sandwich but it is good. BUT, I was extremely disappointed in the service and how long it took. I waited over 15 minutes after I ordered and when it was finally ready, there was no apology for the long wait and it was wrapped up poorly in a way that made it very difficult to carry back to my office. With so many other great middle eastern food carts on the same block, I would never choose to have this unpleasant experience again.

The sandwiches here are just as excellent as at the Mississippi location. And, in the cooler months, there is the benefit of eating fireside. And because you’ll be shivering, there is no need to expend energy chewing — it’ll be automatic. I’d recommend the sabich or falafel, 100 times over. The only hitch for me was service, on a few accounts. First, the clerk wasn’t too friendly. Second, there is this strange — ubiquitous in Portland, it seems — tip creep. Are you supposed to be tipping the person for doing his job and making your sandwich? There is no extra service beyond this. If it is a matter of liveable wage, then why not just pay the sandwich makers a better wage? Also, they charge you $ 0.50 more to use your credit card. Considering that Wolf & Bear has multiple locations and does pretty good business, this seems very petty. But great sandwiches!

A staple in many pods it’s sheer popularity made me put off checking it out because I could always«try it later.» Well later finally happened and now I mourn the times I could have had some of this yummy goodness! My wrap was really popping with flavor. Though I’m sure I had garlic breath a good time afterward it was worth it. The falafel in my wrap was perfect. Falafel is so hard to get right. It’s usually too dry, or too fried. They do it perfectly here. I also dig the pickles they give with the wrap. It was unexpected and so tasty! I’m looking forward to trying other selections here!

Where to start?!! Heaven in a a form of golden warm pita wraps?!! Oh yes it is! I seriously love this place! One if the best falafel wraps, I had ever devour! If you’re feeling a bit adventurous, I highly recommend the OLEA with the addition of some falafel! As my friend Brad will say, it was insane in the membrane! If you’re on the gluten free side or just want some pretty darn amaze ball salad, try the GORG !

During this past summer, I have been frequenting at this food cart pod. It’s only fair I give some TLC attention to Wolf and Bear’s. Their gyro portion size are generous and filling. Even though it’s mainly vegetarian fare, it fills me up every time. Out to Lunch is a great choice to start if someone is new to the cart. The pita is warm, fluffy, and can hold well with all the delicious filling. The green sauce is recommended for those who like a a little spicy kick. The falafel, cheese, veggies, and tahini sauce pairs well. After I’m done eating, I feel great knowing I ate something that is healthy and without the guilt. Service is friendly and everything is made to order. It can be busy during peak hours but the quality does not diminish. I have yet to try the drinks but the customers that I have seen look happy. I won’t say no if someone suggests this place — I’m always looking forward to going again!

My best friend and I were looking for something healthy to eat on the run and we spotted them amongst the food cart village. It’s hipster healthy at decent prices, however, they’re super slow. Annoyingly slow. They made mine into a salad since I was GF. Girl working there was super nice.

I’m not so keen on Felafels. Yet this place built a great felafel gyro. Its not my thing, but its not their fault. Vegetarians swarmed this food truck.
