Coming from someone that has Eaton at Mexican restaurants across the country this place has the most incredible carne asada you will ever eat in your life! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant by far! I would drive up here from Bakersfield just to have the carne asada nachos they will blow your mind!

Best burritos anywhere! They have the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I am a regular customer and go every other day. Thanks for a great place to go. Always clean and love the tables and chairs also. Great prices to, I can afford to eat there when I want. :)

I really like this place.. I used to get the red chili burritos.. Now I get the green chili burritos.. this place is one of my faves. Go at least once a month as a treat. Nice people, good service.

Great Mexican fast food. Nice atmosphere too, when it’s not crazy busy. They get 3 stars instead of 4 though because they’re not always consistent. Like the other day, I got my husband some nachos & the cheese wasn’t melted & what meat was on there was cold.

I am not a big fan of Chaguitos. My friend loves the place and I always compromise when he wants food from here. We always order the Carne Asada Tacos. Every time I have had them, the meat tastes as though the cook top was not clean and quite a few of the pieces of meat are chunks of fat. The salsa/​Chile is mediocre. I have had better.

Absolutely love their food their entire menu is awesome I live in Bakersfield they are worth the drive I take my wife and kids after church to eat tortas. yum yum yum. Every time we are there we have a great experience

Muy sabrosa!!! We were taking a leisurely drive through the Yokol Valley and intentionally stopped here for lunch. My husband had last eaten here about 4 years ago and remembered the tortas! He ordered a Carne Asada torta which was large, tasty and incredibly complimented with items from the salsa bar. I ordered
two tacos, one tongue and the other adoba pork!!! What an incredible meal !!!. and the cost for this memorable meal, with two drinks, was $ 10.60!!! The salsa bar was plentiful and varied. Do try the guacamole salsa and pickled carrots! We will be back soon with friends!

Quite possibly the most epic carne asada burritos and tortas and Mexican Bakery in California that you will never have because Porterville is in the middle of nowhere! Yes, I am backing this place in a big way. I live in San Diego and have lived all over the state… Gotta make a stop if I am anywhere near the San Joaquin. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid over 25 years ago when it was just a little old kitchen in the small building before it burned down and was rebuilt. Don’t change a thing!

This place always gets my order wrong and last time I went they didn’t give me the correct change back. Made attempt to get it but to no avail. They take peoples orders before you that are behind you in line. Screw this place! Will never return.

This is my favorite restaurant in the world. I’ve never eaten anything better IN MY LIFE! I live in TX now and I find myself dreaming about Chaguito’s tacos and burritos… and the salsa bar. My mouth is watering just writing this… nothing compares to Chaguito’s! If I knew I was going to die Chaguito’s would be my last meal… for real.

The food sucks. I will never go back. I’d rather eat fake Mexican food like Taco Bell then their food. The chicken was all fat no flavor. My tortilla never last it’s always falling apart. The only think I like is their bread.

I was in the area and craving some authentic tacos and unfortunately it was not a day the Lindsay Farmers Market was on. Luckily, my friend recommended this place and lemme tell you, it’s pretty incredible.
There’s a good amount of pastries to choose from and the menu is well organized and easy to read. Although it is a bit confusing with there being two separate counters to buy the pastries at and another to buy food at. The pastries are pretty good and the tacos are quite flavourful as well.
As for atmosphere, it was clean but other than that nothing special. The pastries and taco’s make up for anything lacking in décor.

Colorado Springs, CO
This is one of the best, cheapest, hidden Mexican spots in town. The burritos are huge and equally delicious. Definitely try the Carne Asada, too.
They also have freshly baked sweet bread, flan, milk and a few other random things. The parking lot can sometimes be a little sketchy, but it’s easy to keep an eye out from inside.
